Abstract
【解決手段】燃圧センサの検出値の変化を表した燃圧波形に基づき噴射率波形(燃料噴射状態)を解析し、解析した噴射率波形から検出パラメータTd(噴射特性値)を検出する。そして、検出した検出パラメータTdを、燃温センサにより検出された燃料温度と関連付けしてECUのメモリ(記憶手段)に記憶して学習させる。そのため、学習した検出パラメータ(特性式L3,L4)を用いて噴射率モデルを作成し、その噴射率モデル及び現時点での燃料温度に基づき、指令噴射開始時期(噴射指令信号)及び指令噴射期間(噴射指令信号)を設定できる。

Description
(a)燃料噴射を開始するよう指令してから、実際に噴射が開始するまで(又は噴射開始に伴い燃圧波形に変動が生じるまで)の噴射開始遅れ時間。
(b)燃料噴射を終了するよう指令してから、実際に噴射が終了するまで(又は噴射終了に伴い燃圧波形に変動が生じるまで)の噴射終了遅れ時間。
(c)燃料噴射開始に伴い噴射率が上昇していく時の噴射率上昇速度(又はその時の燃圧降下速度)。
(d)燃料噴射終了に伴い噴射率が下降していく時の噴射率下降速度(又はその時の燃圧上昇速度)
(e)噴孔の開度を全開にした時の噴射率の最大値である最大噴射率(又はその時の燃圧降下量)。
(f)燃料の噴射量の指令値に相当する噴射指令時間と、実際の噴射量との相関を示す値。
本発明は上記実施形態の記載内容に限定されず、以下のように変更して実施してもよい。また、各実施形態の特徴的構成をそれぞれ任意に組み合わせるようにしてもよい。
Claims (6)
- 蓄圧容器から分配される燃料を噴孔から噴射する燃料噴射弁と、
前記燃料噴射弁が有する固有の噴射特性値を記憶する記憶手段と、
前記噴射特性値に基づき、前記燃料噴射弁へ出力する噴射指令信号を設定する噴射指令手段と、
を備える燃料噴射システムに適用され、
前記蓄圧容器から前記噴孔に至るまでの燃料通路のうち前記蓄圧容器に対して前記噴孔に近い側に配置され、燃料圧力を検出する燃圧センサと、
前記燃圧センサの検出値の変化を表した燃圧波形に基づき燃料噴射状態を解析し、解析した燃料噴射状態から前記噴射特性値を検出する噴射特性値検出手段と、
燃料温度を検出する燃温センサと、
前記噴射特性値検出手段により検出された噴射特性値を、前記燃温センサにより検出された燃料温度と関連付けして前記記憶手段に記憶させる学習手段と、
を備えることを特徴とする燃料噴射特性学習装置。 - 前記記憶手段は、噴射特性値と燃料温度との関係を表す特性式を記憶しており、
前記学習手段は、前記噴射特性値検出手段により検出された噴射特性値に基づき、前記特性式を更新することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の燃料噴射特性学習装置。 - 前記噴射特性値検出手段により検出された噴射特性値と、前記記憶手段に記憶されていた学習前の噴射特性値との偏差が所定値未満である場合には、
前記学習手段は、学習前の前記特性式を前記偏差の分だけオフセットさせた式に更新することを特徴とする請求項2に記載の燃料噴射特性学習装置。 - 前記噴射特性値検出手段により検出された噴射特性値と、前記記憶手段に記憶されていた学習前の噴射特性値との偏差が所定値以上である場合には、
前記学習手段は、学習前の前記特性式の傾きを前記偏差に応じて変化させた式に更新することを特徴とする請求項2又は3に記載の燃料噴射特性学習装置。 - 前記燃温センサにより検出された燃料温度が設定温度範囲外である場合には、当該燃料温度に対応する噴射特性値を、設定温度範囲内の基準温度に対応する噴射特性値に換算して補正する補正手段を備え、
前記学習手段は、前記補正手段により補正した噴射特性値を基準温度と関連付けして前記記憶手段に記憶させることを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれか1つに記載の燃料噴射特性学習装置。 - 前記燃温センサにより検出された燃料温度が所定の上限値を超えて高温である場合、又は所定の下限値を超えて低温である場合には、当該燃料温度に対応する噴射特性値を前記記憶手段に記憶させることを禁止することを特徴とする請求項1〜5のいずれか1つに記載の燃料噴射特性学習装置。
