Abstract
【解決手段】複数の光源からなる光源群6と投影レンズ7により投影型の光学系が形成された複数の光学ユニット4a〜4dを、互いに隣り合う光学ユニット同士が等角度となるように車幅方向に配置してすれ違いビーム用光源ユニット4を構成した。各光学ユニット4a〜4dで形成される夫々の配光パターンは投影レンズ7の曲率を変えることで設定され、それら配光パターンの合成によってすれ違いビーム用配光パターンが形成される。

Claims (5)
- 光源と前記光源から出射された光の光路を制御して前方に投影する投影レンズを備えた複数の投影型の光学ユニットによりすれ違いビーム用配光パターンを形成するすれ違いビーム用光源ユニットが構成され、
前記複数の光学ユニットは、車両の車幅方向に、互いに隣り合う光学ユニット同士が前記車幅方向に対して所定の角度をなすように配置され、前記複数の光学ユニットのうち少なくとも、車両の最も中央側に位置する第1の光学ユニットは前記車両の前後方向に沿った中心線と略平行に向き且つ車幅方向の照射範囲が最も狭く、前記第1の光学ユニットの隣に位置する第2の光学ユニットは前記中心線に対して側方側を向き且つ前記第1の光学ユニットよりも車幅方向の照射範囲が広く、前記第2の光学ユニットの隣に位置する第3の光学ユニットは前記中心線に対して側方側を向き且つ前記第2の光学ユニットよりも車幅方向の照射範囲が広いことを特徴とする車両用前照灯。 - 前記第1の光学ユニットの投影レンズは前記第2の光学ユニットの投影レンズよりも光出射面の車幅方向の曲率が小さく、前記第2の光学ユニットの投影レンズは前記第3の光学ユニットの投影レンズよりも光出射面の車幅方向の曲率が小さいことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の車両用前照灯。
- 前記互いに隣り合う光学ユニット同士は、車両の側方側に位置する光学ユニットが車両の中央側に位置する光学ユニットよりも車幅方向の照射範囲が狭くないことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の車両用前照灯。
- 前記互いに隣り合う光学ユニット同士の投影レンズは、車両の側方側に位置する光学ユニットの投影レンズが車両の中央側に位置する光学ユニットの投影レンズよりも光出射面の車幅方向の曲率が小さくないことを特徴とする請求項3に記載の車両用前照灯。
- 前記複数の光学ユニットにおいて、互いに隣り合う光学ユニット同士が車幅方向に対してなす角度は全て略同一であることを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の車両用前照灯。
