Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a thermoplastic resin composition excellent in heat aging resistance, particularly thin-walled heat aging resistance, and excellent in extrusion processability and appearance of an extruded product, and a film and a molded body using the same.

However, these techniques are not sufficient in terms of heat aging resistance of thin-walled molded products, and are not sufficient in terms of extrusion processability and appearance of extruded molded products.
The object of the present invention is suitable for electric / electronic parts and the like, and is excellent in heat aging resistance, particularly thin-walled heat aging resistance, which has not been achieved by the above-described technology, and is excellent in extrudability and appearance of extruded products.

A mixture of polyphenylene ethers, etc., of course, is, of course, not limited to these.

It is more preferably 12% by mass or less, further preferably 8% by mass or less, and particularly preferably 5% by mass or less.
The molecular weight of these polyphenylene ethers can be measured using gel permeation chromatography. As an example, Showa Denko Co., Ltd. The UV wavelength of the detection unit is 254 nm for standard polystyrene and 283 nm for polyphenylene ether.
As a method for measuring the molecular weight of the polyphenylene ether in the composition, the strands, pellets, or molded product obtained at the time of extrusion may be dissolved in chloroform as it is, especially like an alloy of polyamide and polyphenylene ether, If it has a sea-island structure and polyphenylene ether is in the island phase, a thin film of about 20 μm may be cut out using a microtome and then dissolved in chloroform, or finely pulverized by freeze pulverization etc. May be dissolved in chloroform.
The polyphenylene ether in the thermoplastic resin composition preferably contains 1.80 or less phenolic hydroxyl groups per 100 phenylene ether units. The smaller this value, the better the thin wall heat aging resistance. In this respect, the value is preferably 1.50 or less, more preferably 1.20 or less, and particularly preferably 1.10 or less.
This phenolic hydroxyl group is quantified according to a method such as EHUD SH CHORI (Journal of Applied Polymers Science; Applied Polymer Symposium, 34, pages 103 to 117, (1978)). That is, the strands, pellets, or molded product obtained at the time of extrusion are first dissolved in chloroform at 30 ° C., the insoluble matter is removed, and the solution is poured into a large amount of methanol (reprecipitation) to obtain powder and dried. . Next, the sample was dissolved in methylene chloride while heating and left standing overnight in a freezer (−5 ° C.) to obtain a precipitate, which was filtered and washed with cold methylene chloride. The polyphenylene ether is obtained by washing with methanol and vacuum drying at 140 ° C. for 1 hour. This polyphenylene ether was accurately weighed (W (mg)), dissolved in 25 ml of methylene chloride, added with 20 μl of 10 wt% ethanol solution of tetraethylammonium hydroxide, and UV spectrophotometer (Hitachi Co., Ltd.). The absorbance (Abs) at 318 nm is measured using U-3210), and can be calculated based on the following equation.
n (OH) = 63.9 × (Abs) / (W)
(However, n (OH): Number of phenolic hydroxyl groups per 100 phenylene ether units)
Polyphenylene ether can be obtained by a known method, and its production method is not particularly limited. For example, a method in which a phenolic compound is directly oxidatively polymerized, and a phenolic compound is supercritical carbon dioxide. Can be obtained by a method of oxidative polymerization using as a solvent, a method of oxidative polymerization of a phenolic compound in a mixed solvent comprising a good solvent and / or a poor solvent, and the like. In the method of oxidative polymerization in a mixed solvent, by selecting the ratio of a good solvent and a poor solvent, solution polymerization in a state in which polyphenylene ether is dissolved in the reaction solvent can be achieved even at the end of polymerization, and the ratio of the poor solvent can be reduced. Increasing the size also leads to precipitation precipitation polymerization in which the polymer cannot be completely dissolved in the reaction solvent as the reaction proceeds and precipitates as particles. The good solvent here is a solvent that can dissolve poly (2,6-dimethylphenylene) ether obtained by a conventionally known method, and the poor solvent is a poly (2,6-dimethyl) obtained by a conventionally known method. (Phenylene) ether is a solvent that does not dissolve at all or hardly dissolves. Among them, the method of oxidative polymerization in a mixed solvent is preferable from the viewpoint of productivity, and precipitation polymerization is preferable because it is easy to obtain a polymer having a narrow molecular weight distribution.

[Production Example 1] (Synthesis of PPE-6)
Nitrogen gas at a flow rate of 500 ml / min is supplied to a 10-liter jacketed polymerization tank equipped with a sparger for introducing an oxygen-containing gas, a stirring turbine blade and baffle at the bottom of the polymerization tank, and a reflux condenser in the vent gas line at the top of the polymerization tank. 1.099 g cupric chloride dihydrate, 4.705 g 35% hydrochloric acid, 41.971 g N, N, N ′, N′-tetramethylpropanediamine, 31.658 g di-n while blowing. -Butylamine, 1264 g of n-butanol, 544 g of methanol, 3792 g of xylene, 120 g of 2,6-dimethylphenol, 40 g of 2,3,6-trimethylphenol were put into a homogeneous solution, and the internal temperature of the reactor was Stir until 40 ° C.
Nitrogen gas was blown into a 5 liter storage tank equipped with a sparger for introducing nitrogen gas, a stirring turbine blade and baffle in the storage tank, and a reflux condenser in the vent gas line at the top of the storage tank at a flow rate of 200 ml / min. While adding 720 g of methanol, 1080 g of 2,6-dimethylphenol, 360 g of 2,3,6-trimethylphenol, the mixture was stirred until it became a homogeneous solution to prepare a mixed solution.
Next, oxygen gas was introduced from the sparger into the vigorously stirred polymerization tank at a rate of 1000 Nml / min. At the same time, the mixed solution in the storage tank was transferred to 21.6 g / min from the storage tank using a feed pump. Sequentially added at a rate. Aerated for 330 minutes, the internal temperature of the reactor was controlled to 40 ° C. In addition, 140 minutes after starting supply of oxygen gas, polyphenylene ether was precipitated to show a slurry form, and the addition of the mixed solution was completed before starting to show the slurry form. The form of the polymerization solution at the end of the polymerization is precipitation polymerization.
Stop the ventilation of the oxygen-containing gas, add 11.5 g of 50% aqueous solution of ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid tripotassium salt (a reagent manufactured by Dojindo Laboratories) to the polymerization mixture, stir the polymerization mixture for 60 minutes, and then hydroquinone (Wako Pure Chemical Industries, Ltd.) And the stirring was continued until the slurry polyphenylene ether became white.
The internal temperature of the reactor was controlled to 40 ° C.
Thereafter, the wet polyphenylene ether remaining after filtration was placed in a 10 L washing tank and dispersed together with 6400 g of methanol, stirred for 30 minutes, and then filtered again to obtain wet polyphenylene ether. The internal temperature of the washing tank was controlled to 40 ° C. This was repeated three times, and then vacuum-dried at 140 ° C. for 150 minutes to obtain dry polyphenylene ether (PPE-6).
The above PPE-6 is 2,6-dimethylphenol / 2,3,6-trimethylphenol = 75/25 (mass ratio). In the same manner as in this production example, 2,6-dimethylphenol was used as a monomer. And PPE-1 to PPE-5, which are homopolymers, were obtained by polymerization while adjusting the reaction time.

<Molecular weight measurement of polyphenylene ether in the composition>
Showa Denko Co., Ltd. Gel Permeation Chromatography System 21 (Column: Showa Denko K-805L in series, column temperature: 40 ° C., solvent: chloroform, solvent flow rate: 1.0 ml / min, sample concentration : 0.1 mass% chloroform solution) standard polystyrene (molecular weight of standard polystyrene is 3,650,000, 2,170,000, 1,090,000, 681,000, 204,000, 52,000, 30) , 200, 13,800, 3,360, 1,300, 550), a calibration curve was created and measured. The UV wavelength of the detector was measured at 254 nm for standard polystyrene and 283 nm for polyphenylene ether.
In the polyphenylene ether (A) in the composition, when the molecular weight is Mi and the number of molecules having the molecular weight is Ni, the total of the total molecules of Mi × Ni for the molecules having a molecular weight of 10,000 or less. The ratio (mass%) with respect to the sum total of Mi × Ni is set to α. Here, α was obtained as follows.
That is, a 100 μm-thick film obtained in the following example is cut out, dissolved in chloroform at 30 ° C., insolubles are removed, and the solution is poured into a large amount of methanol (reprecipitation) to obtain a powder and dried. . Next, methylene chloride is added, dissolved at 40-50 ° C., and left overnight in a freezer (−5 ° C.) to obtain a precipitate, which is filtered and washed with cold methylene chloride. Then, it is washed with methanol and vacuum dried at 140 ° C. for 1 hour to obtain polyphenylene ether. This sample was subjected to GPC measurement under the same conditions as described above, and α was determined according to the following equation.
α (mass%) = (mass of molecule having a molecular weight of 10,000 or less / mass of all molecules) × 100
The value of α can be experimentally determined from a GPC elution curve by (elution area of molecules of 10,000 or less / total elution area) × 100.
