Description
Claims (10)
- 車両における燃焼機関(1)の排気ガス再循環用装置であって、前記燃焼機関が、前記燃焼機関(1)の少なくとも2つのシリンダ(2)へ空気を供給し且つ排気ガスを再循環させるための分岐入口管(14)であって、前記燃焼機関(1)を通って中央に延びる垂直面(4)の第1の側で前記燃焼機関(1)に取り付けられた分岐入口管(14)と、前記排気ガスを前記燃焼機関(1)の少なくとも2つのシリンダ(2)から排気ライン(6)へ導くための分岐排気管(5)であって、前記中央に位置する垂直面(4)の第2の側で前記燃焼機関(1)に取り付けられた分岐排気管(5)とを有し、また前記装置が、前記燃焼機関(1)へ空気を供給するための入口ライン(10)に前記排気ライン(6)を接続する戻りライン(13)であって、それによって排気ガスを前記排気ライン(6)から前記入口ライン(10)へ再循環させることを可能にする戻りライン(13)と、前記戻りライン(13)内の再循環排気ガスを冷却するための少なくとも1つのEGRクーラ(15、16)とを有している排気ガス再循環用装置において、
前記EGRクーラ(15、16)は、前記EGRクーラの排気ガスを再循環させるための入口部分(15a、16a)と出口部分(15b、16b)との間で実質的に中央に延びる垂直面(23、25)が、前記燃焼機関(1)を通る前記垂直面(4)と実質的に平行になるような位置で、前記燃焼機関(1)に近接して取り付けられていることを特徴とする排気ガス再循環用装置。 - 前記EGRクーラ(15)が、前記分岐排気管(5)と同じ前記垂直面(4)の側に配置されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記EGRクーラ(15)が、前記分岐排気管(5)より高い位置に配置されることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の装置。
- 前記EGRクーラ(15)が、少なくとも部分的に前記分岐排気管(5)より上に位置する場所に配置されることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の装置。
- 前記EGRクーラ(16)が、前記分岐排気管(14)と同じ前記垂直面(4)の側に配置されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記EGRクーラ(16)が、前記分岐排気管(14)より高い位置にある場所に配置されることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の装置。
- 前記EGRクーラ(16)が、少なくとも部分的に前記分岐排気管(14)より上に位置する場所に配置されることを特徴とする請求項6に記載の装置。
- 前記EGRクーラ(15、16)が、前記排気ガスを冷却するために、該EGRクーラ(15、16)を通して流れる液体冷却媒体を有するようになっていることを特徴とする請求項1から請求項7までのいずれか一項に記載の装置。
- 前記装置が複数のEGRクーラを有し、少なくとも1つのEGRクーラ(15)が前記分岐排気管(5)と同じ前記垂直面(4)の側に配置され、少なくとも1つのEGRクーラ(16)が前記分岐入口管(14)と同じ前記垂直面(4)の側に配置されることを特徴とする請求項1から請求項8までのいずれか一項に記載の装置。
- 前記燃焼機関(1)は、該燃焼機関(1)を通る前記垂直面(4)が前記車両の長手方向に延びるように前記車両(3)に配置され、前記燃焼機関(1)は、前記垂直面(4)に対して実質的に垂直な前方の壁面(1a)および後方の壁面(1b)を有し、前記戻りライン(13)は、前記燃焼機関の前記後方の壁面(1b)を取り囲む範囲を有するライン部分(13b)を介して前記第1の側と前記第2の側との間に延びることを特徴とする請求項1から請求項9までのいずれか一項に記載の装置。
