Abstract
【解決手段】 排気系に設けられ、排ガスを浄化するための酸化機能を有する触媒16と、排気系の触媒よりも下流側に設けられ、酸化雰囲気下で排ガス中のNOxを捕捉するとともに、還元雰囲気下で、捕捉したNOxを還元し、浄化するNOx触媒17と、NOx触媒17にNOxの還元動作を行わせるために、触媒の上流側に還元剤を供給することにより、NOx触媒17に流入する排ガスを還元雰囲気に制御するNOx還元制御手段6、12、2と、触媒の劣化度合DEGRAを推定する劣化度合推定手段2と、推定された触媒の劣化度合DEGRAに応じて、還元制御の実行期間を補正する補正手段2と、を備える。

Claims (5)
- 内燃機関から排気系に排出された排ガスを浄化する内燃機関の排ガス浄化装置であって、
前記排気系に設けられ、排ガスを浄化するための酸化機能を有する触媒と、
前記排気系の前記触媒よりも下流側に設けられ、酸化雰囲気下で排ガス中のNOxを捕捉するとともに、還元雰囲気下で、捕捉したNOxを還元することによって浄化するNOx触媒と、
前記NOx触媒にNOxの還元動作を行わせるために、前記触媒の上流側に還元剤を供給することにより、前記NOx触媒に流入する排ガスを還元雰囲気に制御する還元制御を実行するNOx還元制御手段と、
前記触媒の劣化度合を推定する劣化度合推定手段と、
当該推定された触媒の劣化度合に応じて、前記NOx還元制御手段による還元制御の実行期間を補正する補正手段と、
を備えることを特徴とする内燃機関の排ガス浄化装置。 - 前記NOx還元制御手段は、
前記NOx触媒に供給された還元剤供給量を算出する還元剤供給量算出手段と、
当該算出された還元剤供給量がしきい値を超えたときに、前記還元制御を終了する還元制御終了手段と、を有し、
前記補正手段は、前記推定された触媒の劣化度合が高いほど、前記しきい値をより小さくなるように補正することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の内燃機関の排ガス浄化装置。 - 前記NOx還元制御手段は、
前記NOx触媒に供給された還元剤供給量を算出する還元剤供給量算出手段と、
当該算出された還元剤供給量がしきい値を超えたときに、前記還元制御を終了する還元制御終了手段と、を有し、
前記補正手段は、前記推定された触媒の劣化度合が高いほど、前記算出された還元剤供給量をより大きくなるように補正することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の内燃機関の排ガス浄化装置。 - 前記劣化度合推定手段は、
前記触媒の上流側の温度を検出する上流側温度検出手段と、
前記触媒の下流側の温度を検出する下流側温度検出手段と、を有し、
前記還元制御の実行中に検出された前記上流側の温度に対する前記下流側の温度の上昇度合に応じて、前記触媒の劣化度合を推定することを特徴とする、請求項1ないし3のいずれかに記載の内燃機関の排ガス浄化装置。 - 前記劣化度合推定手段は、
前記触媒の下流側の空燃比を推定する空燃比推定手段と、
前記触媒の下流側の空燃比を検出する空燃比検出手段と、を有し、
前記還元制御の実行中に推定された空燃比に対する、検出された空燃比の遅れ度合に応じて、前記触媒の劣化度合を推定することを特徴とする、請求項1ないし3のいずれかに記載の内燃機関の排ガス浄化装置。
