Abstract
【解決手段】8気筒エンジンの各気筒に備えられ燃料を噴射する燃料噴射弁と、当該8個の燃料噴射弁の内4個の燃料噴射弁に通電することによりこれらの弁を開閉駆動させる第1の弁駆動手段と、前記4個の燃料噴射弁以外の4個の燃料噴射弁に通電することによりこれらの弁を開閉駆動させる第2の弁駆動手段とを備えた8気筒エンジンにおいて、前記両弁駆動手段は、爆発行程が等間隔となる気筒に備えられた燃料噴射弁を開閉駆動させる。例えば、第1の弁駆動手段12は、第1気筒、第4気筒、第6気筒、第7気筒に備えられた燃料噴射弁に、第2の弁駆動手段13は、第2気筒、第3気筒、第5気筒、第8気筒に備えられた燃料噴射弁に通電する。

時間を十分に確保できる。あるいは、弁駆動手段を充電する時間を確保するために、マルチ噴射の噴射時期が制約されることを抑制することができる。
、#7に備えられた燃料噴射弁7に接続し、EDU13を#2、#3、#5、#8に備えられた燃料噴射弁7に接続する。これにより、通電間隔を十分に確保することができるので、噴***度が悪化することを防止できる。また、噴射時期の自由度も向上させることができる。また、直列4気筒と同じであることから、通電タイミングのプログラムを直列4気筒エンジンで使用しているものと同じにすることができる。

Claims (3)
- 8気筒エンジンの各気筒に備えられ燃料を噴射する燃料噴射弁と、
当該8個の燃料噴射弁の内4個の燃料噴射弁に通電することによりこれらの弁を開閉駆動させる第1の弁駆動手段と、
前記4個の燃料噴射弁以外の4個の燃料噴射弁に通電することによりこれらの弁を開閉駆動させる第2の弁駆動手段と、
を備えた8気筒エンジンにおいて、
前記両弁駆動手段は、爆発行程が等間隔となる気筒に備えられた燃料噴射弁を開閉駆動させることを特徴とする8気筒エンジン。 - 前記第1の弁駆動手段が、1番目、3番目、5番目、7番目に爆発行程を迎える気筒に備えられた燃料噴射弁を開閉駆動させ、
前記第2の弁駆動手段が、2番目、4番目、6番目、8番目に爆発行程を迎える気筒に備えられた燃料噴射弁を開閉駆動させることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の8気筒エンジン。 - 4個の気筒を1つの気筒群とした場合に2つの気筒群がV字形に備えられ、各気筒に燃料を噴射する燃料噴射弁を備えた8気筒エンジンにおいて、
前記2つの気筒群の内の1の気筒群に属する気筒を端から順に第1気筒、第3気筒、第5気筒、第7気筒、他の気筒群に属する気筒を端から順に第2気筒、第4気筒、第6気筒、第8気筒とする場合に、
第1気筒、第4気筒、第6気筒、第7気筒に備えられた燃料噴射弁に通電することによりこれらの弁を開閉駆動させる第1の弁駆動手段と、
第2気筒、第3気筒、第5気筒、第8気筒に備えられた燃料噴射弁に通電することによりこれらの弁を開閉駆動させる第2の弁駆動手段と、
を備えることを特徴とする8気筒エンジン。
