A gas-mixing valve comprises a body containing a split sleeve 13 with diametricallyopposed inlet ports 15, an axial outlet 12, and a drum 16 with orifices 17, 17A, rotatable within the sleeve by a handle 20, at least one of the orifices having trimming means for varying the mixture by adjusting that part of the orifice in register with the respective sleeve port at each of one or more selected positions of the drum. As shown, the orifice 17A is a compound orifice, consisting of slots 19 and a series of holes 18 and the area of that part of the orifice in register with the corresponding port in each of five settings of the drum is separately adjustable by one of a set of fingers 24 bent up from a plate 21 and displaceable by an adjusting screw 25.
