Abstract

399,396. Mixing-valves. JÍNSSON, W., 73, Rahnsdorferstrasse, Sch÷neiche, near Berlin, and SELAS AKT.-GES., 10, M³llerstrasse, Berlin. March 3, 1933, No. 6539. [Class 135.] A three-way mixing-cock for, say, air and combustible gas comprises a hollow rotary plug 4 divided into two chambers by a partition 11 carrying a tube-like injection nozzle 14 extending through one of the chambers to the outlet, as shown. The air inlet ports 2<1>, 12 enter one chamber and the gas inlet ports 31, 13 the other chamber; the casing port 31 is fitted with a slide 16, adjustable by a screw 15, to vary the gas supply in relation to the air supply in order to secure a correct mixture at any opening of the valve. The control edge of the slide 16 is made oblique to facilitate the adjustment. The front flange 5 carries an adjustable stop co-operating with the handle 9 and pointer 10. The inlet connection 3 for the combustible gas is made detachable from the main casing 1.
