Class 123(2) In a forced - flow steam boiler comprising a feed pump 1, preheater 2, steamgenerating section 3, steam-and-water separator 10 and superheater 4, at minimum load, such as when starting up, a forced circulation of a definite quantity of feedwater is maintained within the steamgenerating section by a by-pass 7 provided with a circulating _pump 8 and shut-off valves 11, 12. A drum or collecting chamber 9, having a safety valve 13 and a connection 14 to an intermediate-pressure reheater 6 between the stages of a turbine 5 supplied by the boiler, or other lower pressure point, is, preferably, also included in said by-pass.
