[Also in Group II] A shaft 6 and a surrounding sleeve 25 are normally rotated at the same speed from a driven planet carrier 41, the shaft 6 through a compound pinion 32, 33 carried by the planet carrier 41 and a gear 28 on the shaft end against the reaction of a fixed sun gear 36, and the sleeve 25 through a compound pinion 34, 35 carried by the planet carrier 41 and a gear 27 formed on the end of the sleeve against the reaction of a normally fixed sun gear 37. The gear 37 is secured to a shaft 38 fitted at its outer end with a lever 42. To give the sleeve 25 and the shaft 6 a rotation relative to one another the lever 42 is moved to turn the sun gear 37 slightly.
