558,283. Carburetters. ROBINSON, N. R., AINSLEY, L., MORLEY, F. W. W., and LOVESEY, A. C. June 22, 1942, No. 7830/41. [Class 7 (iii)] For maintaining a constant pressure at the fuel jet during variations in the position or acceleration of aircraft, vehicles, or speed boats, the fuel-inlet valve 80 to a chamber 78 is connected by a lever 81, weighted at 83, to a diaphragm 82, the space above which is vented to atmosphere at 90, and that above the fuel at 91. Diffuser jets are indicated at 88 supplying fuel to choke tubes 89. Flap valves 86 are arranged to close against seats 87 when the carburetter is inverted.
