Abstract

510,611. Sliding-clasp fasteners. LIGHTNING FASTENERS, Ltd. (Talon, Inc.) Feb. 3, 1038, No. 3456. [Class 44] The tearing open of a sliding-clasp fastener is prevented by the top end stop members 10 each having a hook-like extension 11 which automatically inter-engage when the slider 4 is moved to the closed position. The members 10 have parts 12 which enter the channels of the slider and butt together below the wedge piece 7 of the slider which cannot therefore be moved downwardly until the hooked members 10 have been deliberately disengaged, as shown in Fig. 4.
