417,781. Sliding - clasp fastenings. GUTBERLETT, H., 108, Bendahlerstrasse, Unterbarmen, Wuppertal, Germany. June 22, 1934, No. 18534. Convention date, Oct. 23, 1933. [Class 44.] A locking member for the slider of a sliding-clasp fastening consists of a tooth e<1> formed on a V-shaped leaf spring e which is loosely mounted between two lugs c, d on the slider b and is retained by a casing l which also serves as the retaining loop for the pull tab g. The tooth enters between the elements h on the stringers and has a cam portion engaged by the inner end k of the pull tab whereby the tooth is withdrawn on pulling the tab to open the stringers.
