Abstract

534,794. Sliding-clasp fasteners. PLASCO, Ltd. Dec. 23, 1939, No. 32833. Convention date, Feb 23. [Class 44] In a separable slide fastener, the bottom stop 7 is fixed to one of the stringers and has openings 8, 9 through which the stringers 1, 2 extend for a substantial distance, and lateral slots 15 in line with the openings 8, 9 for receiving pins 16, 19 on the stringers, said pins resting on shoulders 10 adjacent the openings 8, 9. The ends of the stringer tapes may be folded at 11, 13 and fixed at 12, 14.
