[Class 80 (ii)] A two-speed overdriving unit is arranged behind a fourspeed gear 1, (not described) in a motor-vehicle. The gear comprises helically toothed wheels 4, 14, connected by meshing wheels on a side layshaft, and selectively clutched to the driven shaft 10 by a dog-clutch 11, controlled by a lever 24.
