Abstract
318,971. Siemens - - Schuckertwerke Akt.-Ges. Sept. 13, 1928, [Convention date]. Conductors.-In order to prevent glow phenomena, a conductor, particularly for dynamoelectric machines, for carrying current at' high potential is covered with a semi-conductive coating of homogeneous structure and low conductivity. In an example, tri-cresyl-phosphate is applied on a layer carrier of woven material, bands of material being saturated with the liquid and then wound on. The cable may then be covered with insulating material. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 284,751.
