[Class 37] An insulated resistive flexible conductor for use in the electrical ignition circuit of an internal-combustion engine comprises a rubber or other flexible insulating sheath and a flexible core formed of one or more threads of fibrous insulating material, such as silk, cotton, or linen, coated or impregnated with a finely divided conductive material, such as colloidal graphite. The core may be coated with rubber solution prior to the application thereon of the outer sheath.
