Control mechanism.-In driving-mechanism for bicycles, of the type comprising treadles and reciprocating wires, or chains, the gear is varied by altering the points of attachment of the reciprocating wires &c. to the treadles by means of Bowden or like control wires, which are connected to a drum mounted in a hollow cylinder attached to the upper frame tube, the drum being rotated by a handle, which is adapted by its own resilience to engage slots in the end closure of the cylinder, so as to be locked in adjusted position. Specification 200,385 is referred to.
