240,466. Frõnkl, M. Sept. 26, 1924, [Convention date.]. Producers.-The combustion chamber of a water gas producer is placed between steam generating flues 13, 13', each comprising a set of tubes 14 heated internally by the " run " gas and externally by the " blow " gas. Water from pipes 18, 18<1> is injected alternately into the tubes of each set. The blast valves 9<a>, 9<a1>, stack valves 20 ,20<1>, water gas valves 16, 16', and water supply valves 19, 19<1> are all linked to a single actuating lever 12.
