Abstract

1,166,373. Stop motion. PALITEX PROJECT-CO. G.m.b.H. 28 July, 1967 [1 Aug., 1966], No. 34906/67. Heading D1D. A device for stopping winding when a bobbin reaches a required diameter comprises a feeler 4 carried on an adjustable arm 3 provided with an electrical switch whereby at the desired diameter the bobbin actuates the feeler which operates the switch to stop the winding. Feeler 5 has a curved surface to engage the bobbin and is pivoted in arm 3 so that when deflected by the bobbin a microswitch is operated. Arm 3 is secured by a knurled nut 8 which can be released for adjustment of the arm. The surface of the feeler may be ridged.
