Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé et un appareil pour le séchage et le broyage du charbon destiné à alimenter les foyers à poussier. Dans le cas d'une installation de combustion comprenant un étage de préchauffage 11, 12, 13, un étage de calcination (partie du four rotatif 1 à droite de A-A, cyclones 10 et 11 jusque B-B), et un étage de frittage (partie de 1 à gauche de A-A), pour alimenter le processus de séchage et de broyage en gaz de séchage ayant une inertie et une capacité calorifique suffisantes, on dérive par les organes 16 à 20 au moins un courant partiel du gaz utilisé par l'étage de frittage et/ou par l'étage de calcination, et on l'envoie au tube broyeur 23, puis aux autres éléments de l'installation de broyage et de séchage, par une conduite 21, la plus courte possible. L'invention est applicable en particulier aux procédés et aux installations pour la fabrication de clinker.
