Des cuvettes en tissu dur carbonisé présentant une surface recouverte de graphite pyrolytique peuvent être réalisées de façon simple et à présenter une résistance mécanique élevée à être exemptes d'effets de mémoire, tout en permettant le fonctionnement d'outils d'analyse sous une tension normale du secteur (220 volts). Application : aux appareils de mesures de spectroscopie par absorption atomique.
