Abstract

1. Motor de combusitión interna, en particular un motor diesel, con inyección directa del combustible, teniendo como mínimo un cilindro con un pistón móvil cuya corona posee una cavidad que, como mínimo, forma parte de la cámara de combustión de dicho cilindro, y un inyector de combustible con una boquilla provista de varios agujeros que desembocan en la citada cavidad del pistón, y cuyo eje está orientado con respecto al eje del cilindro con un ángulo comprendido básicamente entre los 15º y los 30º, estando caracterizado en que la cavidad (24) de la corona (22) del pistón (12) tiene una pared base plana (26) que está orientada perpendicularmente al eje (A) del inyector (16), y una boca (25) centrada en el eje (B) del cilindro (10). 2. Motor, de acuerdo a la reivindicación 1, caracterizado en que la pared base (26) de la cavidad (24) tiene un plano de forma esencialmente elíptica, cuyo centro (D) se encuentra situado en la prolongación del eje (A) del inyector (16) cuando el pistón (12) sehalla básicamente en su punto muerto superior. 3. Motor, según la reivindicación 2, caracterizado en que la boquilla (18) del inyector (16) tiene cuatro agujeros dispuestos y orientados de forma que dirijan sus respectivos chorros (20) de combustible hacia los puntos (P) de la cavidad (24) del pistón (12) distribuidos de forma básicamente equidistante alrededor del eje (A) del inyector (16). 4. Motor, de acuerdo a una cualquiera de las reivindicaciones precedentes, y caracterizado en que la pared lateral (28) de la cavidad (24) del pistón (12) tiene sus recpectivas superficies inclinadas (28a, 28b) en los extremos superior e inferior (26a, 26b) de la pared base (26), una de las cuales forma un ángulo obtuso y la otra un ángulo agudo con la pared base (26). 5. Motor, según una cualquiera de las reivindicaciones precedentes, caracterizado en que la pared base (26) de la cavidad (24) del pistón (12) está unida a la pared lateral (28) de dicha cavidad (24) por medio de una superficie redondeada (30). 6. Motor, según una o más de las reivindicaciones precedentes, caracterizado en que el borde (32) de la boca (25) de la cavidad (24) del pistón (12) está unido a la superficie de la corona (22) del pistón (12) con una superficie anular achaflanada (34). 7.
