Abstract

Un neumático radial, en particular, un neumático radial para servicio severo, comprende una carcasa radial (1) que se extiende de manera toroidal entre un par de núcleos de talón embebidos en un par de porciones de talón, una porción de banda de rodadura (2) y un cinturón (3) superpuesto alrededor de una periferia exterior de la carcasa para reforzar la porción de banda de rodadura, y comprendida por al menos tres capas (3-1, 3-2, 3-3) de cordones vulcanizados, estando cruzados entre sí cordones de dos capas adyacentes (3-2, 3-3) entre dichas capas en un ángulo de cordón agudo respecto a un plano ecuatorial (E) de la cubierta para formar capas de cordón cruzadas, en las que una capa (3-3) de cordón exterior de las capas de cordón cruzadas, en una dirección radial de la cubierta, tiene una anchura más estrecha que la de una capa (3-2) de cordón interior, y al menos un caucho de revestimiento para dicha capa (3-3) de cordón de anchura estrecha, entre las capas de cordón que constituyen el cinturón, se extiende sobre un extremo del cordón en dicha capa hacia el exterior de la cubierta, y una distancia del extremo del cordón al extremo exterior del caucho de revestimiento está dentro de un intervalo de 0,05-0,70 mm.
