Abstract

Procédé de réfrigération et/ou de lubrification de cylindres (1, 2) et/ou d'un produit laminé (3), procédé dans lequel on applique, à partir de plusieurs buses, ou séries de buses (7, 7', 8, 8', 9, 9'), d'une part, un fluide réfrigérant sur les cylindres (1, 2) et, d'autre part, pour la lubrification, une huile de base sur le produit laminé, en amont de l'espace entre cylindres (15), les buses ou les séries de buses (7, 7', 8, 8', 9, 9') pouvant être réglées individuellement et indépendamment les unes des autres. L'invention est caractérisée en ce que le fluide réfrigérant est appliqué séparément de l'huile de base sur les cylindres (1, 2), et en ce qu'uniquement l'huile de base dépourvue d'eau est appliquée, en tant que milieu support, directement sur le produit laminé (3) sur toute sa largeur, en une très faible quantité par rapport à la quantité usuelle. A cet effet, des moyens d'arrêt de fluide (12, 12') sont disposés entre les buses ou les séries de buses (9, 9'), pour l'application du fluide réfrigérant sur les cylindres (1, 2), et entre les séries de buses (7, 7', 8, 8'), pour l'application de l'huile de base sur le produit laminé.
