- Storage container (1) for liquids, in particular flammable liquids such as fuel oil, used oil, lubricating oil and diesel fuel, having a parallelepipedal or cubic plastic inner container (2), which can be filled with the liquid and has four side walls (3-6), a lower floor (7) and an upper floor (8) with a filler connection (9), a removal connection (10), a vent connection (11) and also a connection (12) for inserting a filling level indicator, additionally having an outer container (13) receiving the inner container (2) to protect against leakage from the inner container (2) and with four side walls (14-14), a floor (18), and a removable cover (19), which has corresponding openings (20) for the filling connection (9), the removal connection (10), the vent connection (11) as well as the connection (12) for the filling level indicator of the inner container (2), and also having a pallet-like supporting frame (24) for positioning and transporting the storage container (1) by means of stacker trucks or similar transport means, characterised by a blow-moulded plastic outer container (13) for receiving the inner container (2), wherein the upwardly arched removable cover (19) of the outer container (13) has a downwardly drawn cover edge (31) bordering the upper opening edge (30) of the outer container (13) and having moulded-on clamping elements (33) for fastening the cover (19) on the opening edge (30) of the outer container (13) provided with corresponding mountings (35), a circumferential flat edge strip (36) for attachment of the base frame (29) of the supporting frame (24) of a storage container (1) stacked on top and a shallow collection recess (38) moulded into the central cover section (37) for leakage liquid dripping out of connecting bolted joints and fittings, and also by one or more closure clamps (39) made of a flat bar material, which abut against the arched cover (19) of the outer container (13) and are attached to two opposite frame parts (41, 42) of the upper frame (40) of a metal outer grating shell (21) fastened to the supporting frame (24) and comprising vertical and horizontal metal grating bars (22, 23), wherein slide edges (44) running along the closure clamps (39) are moulded on the cover (19) of the outer container (13) for the gripping arms of a transport device to slide on when lifting a storage container (1) stacked on top.
