Abstract
Bei SWATH-Lotsenbooten ist der Rumpfkörper (10) relativ hoch über der Wasserlinie angeordnet. Die SWATH-Lotsenboote verfügen über ein großes Freibord. Beim Anlegen an einem Schiff (16) mit geringem Freibord kann es deshalb dazu kommen, daß die Befenderung des Lotsenbootes sich in Höhe irgendwelcher tragender Teilen oder der Reling (17) des Schiffes (16) befindet und diese Teile durch das Lotsenboot selbst bzw. dessen Befenderung beschädigt werden. Ferner kann sich das Lotsenboot in Teilen des Schiffes (16) verhaken. Zur Vermeidung dieses Problems ist deshalb erfindungsgemäß wenigstens ein Ballasttank (20, 21) zum Absenken des Rumpfkörpers (10) während des Übersteigens des Lotsens vorgesehen. Bei dem Ballasttank (20, 21) handelt es sich um einen gesonderten, von den Ballasttanks für den Trimm unabhängigen Ballasttank (20, 21). <IMAGE>
Description
Die Erfindung betrifft ein SWATH-Lotsenboot mit einem Rumpfkörper, wenigstens
zwei an dem Rumpfkörper angebrachten Stützten und je einem am unteren Ende
jeder Stütze angebrachten, unterhalb der Wasserlinie angeordneten
Auftriebskörper, wobei je eine Stütze an der Steuerbordseite und der Backbordseite
des Rumpfkörpers angebracht ist.
Ein solches SWATH-Lotsenboot (SWATH = Small Waterplane Area Twin Hull) ist
beispielsweise aus der EP 1 114 768 A2 bekannt. Mit derartigen Lotsenbooten
werden in Flußmündungen und in Küstengewässern Lotsen auf Schiffe verbracht
bzw. von diesen übernommen. Während des Übersteigens der Lotsen von dem
Lotsenboot auf das Schiff bzw. von dem Schiff auf das Boot fahren beide Fahrzeuge
eine kurze Wegstrecke nebeneinander her, wobei das Lotsenboot an dem Schiff
angelegt. Die Positionen (Plattformen) auf beiden Fahrzeugen, von denen aus der
Lotse auf das jeweils andere Fahrzeuge übersteigt, müssen etwa in gleicher Höhe
über der Wasserlinie (Meeresspiegel) liegen. Bei Schiffen mit niedrigerem Freibord
bestünde sonst zusätzlich die Gefahr, daß die Befenderung des Lotsenbootes sich
in Höhe irgendwelcher tragender Teile oder der Reling des Schiffes befindet und
diese Teile somit durch das Lotsenboot selbst bzw. dessen Befenderung beschädigt
werden. Ferner kann sich das Lotsenboot in dem Schiff mit niedrigerem Freibord
verhaken.
Hiervon ausgehend liegt der Erfindung das Problem zugrunde, ein SWATH-Lotsenboot
vorzuschlagen, bei dem sich die Höhe des Rumpfkörpers über der
Wasserlinie kurzfristig für die Dauer des Übersteigemanövers verändern läßt.
Zur Lösung dieses Problems ist das erfindungsgemäße SWATH-Lotsenboot
dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß wenigstens ein, von Ballasttanks für den Trimm
unabhängiger Ballasttank zum Absenken des Rumpfkörpers während des
Übersteigens des Lotsen vorgesehen ist.
Durch die erfindungsgemäße Maßnahme läßt sich der Rumpfkörper des
Lotsenbootes immer so weit absenken, daß auch Schiffe mit einem geringen
Freibord bedient werden können. Somit wird das Einsatzfeld des Lotsenbootes
wesentlich erweitert. Die Gefahr von Beschädigungen an Teilen des Schiffes mit
niedrigerem Freibord wird sicher vermieden. Das Befüllen und Entleeren der
Ballasttanks muß dabei in einer derart kurzen Zeit erfolgen können, daß die
Befüllung kurz vor dem Überstiegmanöver vorgenommen werden kann. Aufgrund
der besonderen Bauart des SWATH-Lotsenboots, welches über eine geringe
Wasserlinienfläche verfügt, bewirken bereits geringe Mengen Ballastwassers eine
signifikante Veränderung des Tiefgangs an einer oder beiden Seiten des
Lotsenbootes.
Vorzugsweise ist je ein Ballasttank oberhalb jeder Stütze angeordnet. Dabei
empfiehlt es sich, den Schwerpunkt der Ballasttanks im Wasserlinienschwerpunkt
des Lotsenbootes anzuordnen. Hierdurch lassen sich die Ballasttanks zum
Absenken des Rumpfkörpers befüllen und zum Wiederanheben des Rumpfkörpers
wieder entleeren, ohne daß dabei der Trimm des Schiffes wesentlich verändert wird.
Nach einer Weiterbildung der Erfindung sind der Ballasttank an Steuerbord und der
Ballasttank an Backbord unabhängig voneinander befüllbar und entleerbar. Für
bestimmte Anwendungsfälle kann es nämlich zweckmäßig sein, nur den Ballasttank
auf einer Seite des Lotsenbootes zu befüllen. Das Lotsenboot taucht dann im
wesentlichen auf einer Seite tiefer ein und es entsteht eine Krängung. Diese
Variante ist insbesondere bei Seegang günstig. Ferner gehen seitliche Fender am
Lotsenboot noch tiefer, da diese gegenüber der Stütze nach außen überstehen.
Die Erfindung wird nun nachfolgend anhand eines in der Zeichnung dargestellt
Ausführungsbeispiele näher erläutert. Es zeigen:
Das in den Fig. 1 bis 3 gezeigte SWATH-Lotsenboot weist einen Rumpfkörper 10
mit einem Aufbau 11 auf. An der Steuerbordseite und der Backbordseiten des
Rumpfkörpers 10 sind an der Unterseite des Rumpfkörpers 10 je eine Stütze 12 und
13 angebracht. An den Unterseiten der Stützten 12 und 13 sind wiederum jeweils
ein Auftriebskörper 14, 15 vorgesehen. Die Stützten 12, 13 tauchen in das Wasser
ein, so daß sich die Auftriebskörper 14 und 15 vollständig unterhalb der Wasserlinie
CWL befinden.
Fig. 1 zeigt das Lotsenboot kurz bevor dem Anlegen an einem Schiff 16. Dieses
Schiff 16 weist ein im Vergleich zum Lotsenboot niedrigeres Freibord auf. Wie Fig. 1
ebenfalls gut zu entnehmen, ist bestünde beim Anlegen des Lotsenbootes leicht die
Gefahr, daß eine Reling 17 des Schiffes 16 beschädigt wird. Oberhalb der Stützten
12 und 13 sind deshalb jeweils ein Ballasttank 20 und 21 im Rumpfkörper 10
vorgesehen. Die Ballasttanks 20 und 21 befinden sich jeweils im
Wasserlinienschwerpunkt der Stützten 12 bzw. 13.
Um den Rumpfkörper 10 abzusenken, können einer der oder beide Ballasttanks 20,
21 gefluteten werden. Das Lotsenboot mit beiden Ballasttanks 20 und 21 im
gefluteten Zustand zeigt Fig. 2. Fig. 3 zeigt das Lotsenboot mit nur einem gefluteten
Ballasttank 21. Die Übersteigeplattformen 18 befinden sich in etwa auf der gleichen
Höhe wie die Übersteigeplattformen 19 des Schiffes 16. Bei nur einem gefluteten
Ballasttank 21 entsteht zusätzlich eine Krängung, während sich das Lotsenboot mit
beiden gefluteten Ballasttanks 20 und 21 gleichmäßig absenkt.
Die Ballasttanks 20 und 21 sind ausschließlich für das Absenken und wieder
Anheben des Rumpfkörpers 10 vorgesehen. Von Ballasttanks für den Trimm des
Lotsenbootes sind sie unabhängig.

Claims (4)
- SWATH-Lotsenboot mit einem Rumpfkörper (10), wenigstens zwei an dem Rumpfkörper (10) angebrachten Stützten (12, 13) und je einem am unteren Ende jeder Stütze (12, 13) angebrachten, unterhalb der Wasserlinie angeordneten Auftriebskörper (14, 15), wobei je eine Stütze (12, 13) an der Steuerbordseite und der Backbordseite des Rumpfkörpers (10) angebracht ist, gekennzeichnet durch wenigstens einen, von Ballasttanks für den Trimm unabhängigen Ballasttank (20, 21) zum Absenken des Rumpfkörpers (10) während des Übersteigens des Lotsen.
- SWATH-Lotsenboot nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß je ein Ballasttank (20, 21) oberhalb jeder Stütze (12, 13) angeordnet ist.
- SWATH-Lotsenboot nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Ballasttank (20, 21) bzw. die Ballasttanks (20, 21) im Wasserlinienschwerpunkt angeordnet ist/sind.
- SWATH-Lotsenboot nach Anspruch 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Ballasttank (20) über der Steuerbordstütze (12) und der Ballasttank (21) über der Backbordstütze (13) unabhängig voneinander befüll- und entleerbar sind.
