Definitions
- the invention relates to a dishwasher with a Condensation device in the during a dry phase air containing water vapor removed from a wash cabinet by a channel running outside the wash cabinet on one Condensation device passed and back into the Rinsing space is returned, and a condensation process therefor.
- a dishwashing cycle in one Dishwasher will be in after the cleaning process the dishes stored in the dishwasher during a Rinse with rinse liquid, taking the dishes are warmed. This is followed by the rinse aid process a dry phase during which of the rinsed and warmed dishes evaporate the adhering water drops, so that a water vapor-containing atmosphere inside the wash cabinet is produced.
- the water vapor condenses on cool surfaces e.g. on the cool interior walls of the sink.
- the water vapor-saturated air to bypass specially cooled condensation surfaces or the water vapor-containing air to the outside blow out.
- EP 0 486 828 B1 includes a dishwasher a condensation drying system known in which a Condensation tank is partially filled with water. Out Moist air is taken from a lower opening in the wash cabinet and over the water surface of the condensation tank passed before going to the outside of the dishwasher is left out. By cooling the air on the Part of the humidity condenses on the water surface. However, the cooled air is still steam saturated so that the water vapor-containing air e.g. in the Living room atmosphere of a kitchen. This creates also a smell from the air carried rinsing liquid residues. By cooling the with Water vapor saturated air on objects or components it can be used to condense surfaces and related Damage is coming.
- a dishwasher is known from EP 0 755 652 A2 a closed air circulation circuit known.
- the Air circulation is caused by a fan, whereby moist air from the wash cabinet through an opening on the Removed the top of the wash cabinet through an air duct out and through an opening in the lower area of the Rinsing room is initiated again.
- through a fan in a second duct cool outside air sucked in and blown through the second channel.
- the first and the second channel have a common outer wall so that the warm, steam-saturated air from the wash cabinet at the wall of the first channel cooled by the second channel condensed. This shortens the drying phase to Drying the dishes while there is no water vapor Outside atmosphere.
- the task is performed according to the characteristics of the procedure Claim 1 or the dishwasher according to claim 3 solved.
- This air circulation direction is the air circulation that caused by convection. At the natural caused by convection Circulation direction increases due to that in the wash cabinet Hot, warmed items stored warm air towards the top the wash cabinet. Reduced by heating the air the relative humidity of the rising air and this increases the water absorption capacity, i.e. Drops, the crockery items stored in the upper crockery basket cling, evaporate faster. At the same time, that of the Air rising in the items in the lower crockery basket already preheated so that the heat emitted in the upper Dish rack storing items to be washed is lower. So it cools Washware stored in the upper basket does not settle as quickly and there is more thermal energy available to evaporate the Drops of water available.
- the air extracted from the top of the wash cabinet arrives in the natural direction of circulation through the outside the air duct running to the wash cabinet Condensation device, cools there and passes through Cool down condensation on the surface of the Condensation device. As it cools down, it sinks cooled air down.
- the relative is Humidity of the cooled air is still high because the condensation mainly due to the supersaturation the steam has occurred during cooling. So in air entering the lower area of the wash cabinet Condenser was cooled, a relatively high Humidity.
- the cooled air meets the in the lower area washware stored in the lower basket, cools the washware there while the air is heated. Because of the relatively high The humidity of the cool air is that Water absorption capacity limited accordingly. At the When heating up, the air rises, so that the described, closed air circuit results. At the same time the air stratification in the wash cabinet corresponds to the natural one Air stratification, which is in the sink from the bottom up there is a transition from cold to warm air.
- condensation method according to the invention this humidity and air temperature distribution counteracted.
- the warm, water-saturated The wash cabinet atmosphere is removed in the lower area, above the condensation surface and in the upper area of the Rinsing room initiated again.
- By passing the Condenser cools the air, so that in the upper Cold air enters the area of the wash cabinet.
- the Condensation surface an outside of a liquid-filled reservoirs and those from the washroom withdrawn air is from bottom to top on the Condensation surface passed. This hits the warm, Air extracted from the wash cabinet is initially on the underside the condensation surface on where it contains the water within the liquid-filled reservoirs most heated.
- Dishwasher with a condensation device an opening in the lower area of the wash cabinet Dishwasher warm, steam-saturated air removed, arranged outside of the wash cabinet Air duct on a condensation surface from bottom to top passed and over in the area of the washroom arranged opening. returned to the wash cabinet.
- the air is circulated through the air duct through a fan that blows the air through the bottom Area sucks opening.
- the condensation surface is the outside of a liquid-filled one Reservoirs.
- the fan is on regularly Vane fan or a radial air blower.
- the air duct and the liquid-filled reservoir are typically made from a plastic material, the air duct in the front door of the dishwasher to which Sides or at the back of the wash cabinet can.
- the condensation can flow through the opening in the lower area derived from the wash cabinet to the wash cabinet or via a separate connection line in the dishwasher sump be derived.
- the air damper prevents that when the fan is switched off through natural convection, i.e. through the im Rinsing room with rising air, a circulation between Adjusts the wash cabinet and air duct.
- the circulation through the Convection would e.g. during a cleaning process or Rinse cycle to cool down and dissipate energy the washroom.
- the air flap is closed by a spring causes, on the one hand, the closing pressure of the air flap can be increased and on the other hand the air flap on one Be arranged at a closure of the Air duct due to the installation position by the weight of the Air damper is not possible.
- a ventilation duct for pressure equalization between the Wash cabinet and the outside atmosphere separate from the air duct arranged, it is prevented by pressure differences or swirling water-saturated air to the outside atmosphere can get there.
- the Vent channel to equalize the pressure difference between the wash cabinet and the outside atmosphere in the air duct at one Place where the warm air is already at the Condensation device was bypassed, it says on Vent channel only air with an already reduced Water content. This will increase the amount of water over the Vent channel can escape to the outside atmosphere significantly reduced.
- Fig. 1 shows schematically a cross-sectional view through a Dishwasher 1 of a dishwasher with an outside of the Rinsing room 1 extending air duct 2 for air circulation.
- wash cabinet 1 Within the wash cabinet 1 are in a manner known per se upper crockery basket 3 and a lower crockery basket 4 as well an upper spray arm 5 and a lower spray arm 6 are arranged.
- a rinse cycle follows, in which the the crockery baskets 3, 4 stored items to be rinsed clear and is heated. After the final rinse cycle, they dry on the Drops adhering to the wash ware and surface wetting by evaporation.
- the air duct 2 is provided with a water-filled container 10 in connection with the outside of the water tank 10 is part of the inside of the air duct 2.
- the pressure equalization opening 12 with the associated one Air flap 11 in the lower area of the air duct i.e. before the Provide water tank 10 in the channel area "X"
- the air flap 11 is pivotally mounted and closes the Air duct 2 by its own weight when the fan 9 no air flow generated. After switching on the Fan 9 creates an air pressure in the air duct 2 before Air flap 11 so that it is raised and a Air flow in air duct 2 begins.
- the closed air flap 11 prevents that Convection circulation through the upper opening 8 in the Air duct 2 enters and after cooling through the lower one Opening 7 gets back into the wash cabinet 1. This will make the Cooling of the air in the wash cabinet 1 is avoided if this occurs e.g. not during a cleaning or rinse cycle is desired.
- Projection 13 arranged on the air flap 11 at full opening of the air duct 2 rests, like this represented by the air flap 11 shown in dashed lines is.
- the fully open air flap 11 is on Projection 13 that the connection between the wash cabinet 1 and Pressure equalization opening 12 is largely closed. This creates an air exchange between the outside atmosphere and water vapor-containing washroom atmosphere created by the Air duct 2 is largely avoided. At occurring air pressure differences between wash cabinet 1 and Outside atmosphere can be scaled down Pressure equalization opening 12 still air to the outside or to get inside.
- the depth of the water tank 10 perpendicular to the common Area with the air duct 2 is dimensioned so that when heated the water in the water tank 10 the water along the common area with the air duct 2 rises upwards, while cool water in the water tank 10 at the common area with the air duct 2 opposite Sides down.
