Description
Claims (18)
- Kalander für die Behandlung einer Papierbahn, die nacheinander erste und zweite Arbeitsspalte (11 bis 16) durchläuft, die jeweils zwischen einer harten Walze (3, 5, 8 ; 35, 37, 40, 42) und einer elastischen Walze (2, 4, 6, 7, 9 ; 36, 38, 39, 41) gebildet sind, wobei die eine Seite der Bahn in den ersten Arbeitsspalten (11 bis 14) an den harten Walzen (3, 5 ; 35, 37) und in den zweiten Arbeitsspalten (15, 16) an den elastischen Walzen (7, 9 ; 39, 41) anliegt, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß zumindest die den letzten Arbeitsspalt (16) begrenzende elastische Walze (9; 41) eine geringere Oberflächenrauhigkeit als wenigstens eine einen ersten Arbeitsspalt (11 bis 14) begrenzende elastische Walze (2, 4, 6; 36, 38) besitzt und diese geringere Oberflächenrauhigkeit Ra < 0,35 µm ist.
- Kalander nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß alle die zweiten Arbeitsspalte (15, 16) begrenzenden elastischen Walzen (7, 9; 39, 41) eine geringere Oberflächenrauhigkeit Ra < 0,35 µm besitzen.
- Kalander nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die geringere Oberflächenrauhigkeit Ra = 0,2 bis 0,3 µm beträgt.
- Kalander nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die elastischen Walzen geringerer Oberflächenrauhigkeit eine gemittelte Rauhtiefe Rz < 2,5 µm aufweisen.
- Kalander nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß alle die ersten Arbeitsspalte (11 bis 14) begrenzenden elastischen Walzen (2, 4, 6; 36, 38) eine größere Oberflächenrauhigkeit besitzen als die den letzten Arbeitsspalt (16) begrenzende elastische Walze (9; 41).
- Kalander nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß zumindest im letzten Arbeitsspalt (16) das Verhältnis der Oberflächenrauhigkeiten Ra von elastischer Walze und harter Walze <7 ist.
- Kalander nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß zumindest die den letzten Arbeitsspalt (16) begrenzende harte Walze (8; 42) eine Oberflächenrauhigkeit Ra = 0,04 bis 0,05 µm besitzt.
- Kalander nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die harte Walze (8; 42) eine Oberflächenschicht aus einem abnutzungsresistenten Material, wie Wolframkarbid, besitzt.
- Kalander nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 8, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die elastischen Walzen einen elastischen Bezug (31) aus Kunststoff tragen.
- Kalander nach Anspruch 9, dadurch gekennzeichnet, der elastische Bezug (31) aus einer faserverstärkten Kunststoff-Grundschicht (32) und einer faserverstärkten Kunststoff-Deckschicht (33) besteht.
- Kalander nach Anspruch 9 oder 10, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die elastische Walze (9) einen Bezug (31) aus einem Kunststoff mit so großem Rückstellvermögen aufweist, daß die Tiefe der bleibenden Verformung nach Durchlauf einer bis zu 1 mm dicken Störstelle durch den Arbeitsspalt (16) höchstens 5 % der Störstellendicke beträgt.
- Kalander nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 11, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die ersten und zweiten Arbeitsspalte in einem von der Papierbahn (17) von oben nach unten durchlaufenen Stapel angeordnet und durch einen Wechselspalt (10; 43), der durch zwei elastische Walzen (6, 7; 38, 39) begrenzt ist, voneinander getrennt sind.
- Kalander nach Anspruch 12, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die elastische Walze (9) des letzten Arbeitsspaltes (16) die unterste Walze des Stapels bildet.
- Kalander nach Anspruch 13, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Stapel aus acht Walzen besteht sowie vier erste Arbeitsspalte (11 bis 14) und zwei zweite Arbeitsspalte (15, 16) aufweist.
- Kalander nach Anspruch 12, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die oberste und unterste Walze des Stapels durch eine beheizbare harte Walze (35, 42) gebildet ist.
- Kalander nach Anspruch 15, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Stapel aus acht Walzen besteht und der Walzenspalt (43) sich in der Stapelmitte befindet.
- Anwendung des Kalanders nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 16 zur Erzeugung eines gestrichenen Papiers mit beidseitig nahezu gleichem Glanz von mindestens 75 % nach Gardner.
- Anwendung nach Anspruch 17, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Glanz nach Gardner beidseitig über 80 % liegt.
