Description

  • Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf einen Deckel zum Aufsiegeln auf ein mit einem Randflansch versehenes, vorzugsweise schalenförmiges Gefäß.
  • Werden in einem derartigen Gefäß verpackte Lebensmittel erwärmt, so ist es zweckmäßig die Lebensmittel im Gefäß zu belassen und den Deckel verschlossen zu halten, da sonst der Inhalt während des Erhitzens herausspritzt. Beim Erhitzen entsteht jedoch Wasserdampf, der im Extremfall das Gefäß zum Zerplatzen bringt.
  • Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, einen Deckel der genannten Art so auszugestalten, daß die im Gefäß verpackten Lebensmittel im geschlossenen Zustand erhitzt werden können und trotzdem keine Gefahr für das Gefäß bzw. den Deckel durch den entstehenden Wasserdampf besteht.
  • Diese Aufgabe wird erfindungsgemäß dadurch gelöst, daß der Deckel wenigstens an einer Stelle seines Umfanges mit drei Schnittlinien versehen ist, von denen je eine beiderseits der Siegelnaht von der dem Gefäß zugekehrten Unterseite und die dritte in geringem Abstand von der inneren unteren von der Oberseite her eingbracht ist, und daß der Deckel aus einem zwischen seinen beiden Oberflächen und parallel zu diesen spaltbaren Material besteht.
  • Dadurch ist es möglich, den durch diese drei Schnittlinien begrenzten Abschnitt des Deckels vor dem Erhitzen abzuspalten und damit den entstehenden Wasserdampf entweichen zu lassen. Ein Herausspritzen von Teilen des Lebensmittels ist dabei nicht zu befürchten, da der dem Füllgut zugewandte untere Teil des Deckelmaterials nicht herausgelöst wird.
  • Sehr vorteilhaft ist es auch, wenn erfindungsgemäß die Schnittlinien jeweils wenigstens bis zur Mitte des Deckelmaterials reichen.
  • Damit wird ein sicheres Aufspalten des Deckelmaterials gewährleistet.
  • Eine weitere vorteilhafte Ausgestaltung der Erfindung liegt darin, daß der Deckel aus Karton hergestellt ist und wenigstens im Bereich der herzustellenden Siegelnaht auf seiner Unterseite siegelfähig beschichtet ist.
  • Kartonmaterial läßt sich verhältnismäßig leicht spalten, so daß das Öffnen des Dampf-Ventils leicht durchzuführen ist; durch die siegelfähige Beschichtung wird aber gleichzeitig ein sicherer Verschluß des Deckels mit dem Gefäß gewährleistet.
  • Ebenfalls sehr vorteilhaft ist es, wenn gemäß der Erfindung im Bereich der drei Schnittlinien ein Lappen am Deckel angeformt ist, welcher über den Rand des Gefäßes hinausragt.
  • Dieser überstehende Lappen kann leicht erfaßt und damit das Aufspalten des Deckels besonders einfach bewerkstelligt werden.
  • In der Zeichnung ist die Erfindung anhand eines Ausführungsbeispiels veranschaulicht. Dabei zeigen:

    einen Vertikalschnitt durch den in Fig.4 gezeigten Verpackungsabschnitt.
  • Mit 1 ist in Fig.1 ein ebener Deckel bezeichnet, der zum Aufsiegeln auf einen mit Randflansch versehenen Behälter bestimmt ist. An diesen Deckel 1 ist ein Lappen 2 angeformt, an dessen innerer Begrenzungslinie von der Unterseite her eine Schnittlinie 3 vorgesehen ist. Darüber hinaus weist der Deckel 1 eine ebenfalls von unten her eingebrachte mit Abstand vom äußeren Rand umlaufende Schnittlinie 4 auf. Eine weitere Schnittlinie 5 verläuft über die mit dem Lappen versehene Ecke des Deckels, wobei diese dritte Schnittlinie von oben her in den Deckel eingebracht ist.
  • In den Figuren 2 und 3 ist der Deckel 1 auf ein schalenförmiges Gefäß 6 aufgesiegelt, das einen Randflansch 7 aufweist, welcher der Herstellung der Siegelnaht zwischen Deckel und Gefäß dient. Der Lappen 2 ragt über diesen Randflansch 7 hinweg und dient als Handhabe zum Öffnen der aus Gefäß und Deckel gebildeten Verpackung. Alle drei Schnittlinien 3, 4 und 5 ragen etwas weiter als zur Mitte der Materialdicke in den Deckel 1 hinein, so daß beim Aufreißen mit Hilfe des Lappens 2 eine sichere Materialspaltung etwa in der Mitte des Deckelmaterials stattfindet.
  • Ein so aufgespalteter Deckel 1 ist in den Figuren 4 und 5 dargestellt. Der vollständige Lappen sowie die obere Hälfte des durch die innerste Schnittlinie 5 begrenzten Deckelabschnittes sind entfernt, wodurch ein Teilstück der Schnittlinie 4 freigelegt ist, so daß im Innern des Gefäßes entstehender Dampf entweichen kann.
  • Zum weiteren Öffnen kann ein Mittelabschnitt des Deckels 1 entlang der Schnittlinie 4 herausgetrennt werden, wobei die Siegelnaht zwischen Deckel und Randflansch bestehen bleibt. Als Material für den Deckel hat sich insbesondere Karton bewährt, der wenigstens im Bereich der Siegelnaht mit einem siegelfähigen Kunststoff beschichtet ist. Für besondere Füllgüter ist es jedoch zweckmäßig, die gesamte Innenseite des Deckels mit einem solchen Kunststoff zu beschichten.

Claims (4)

  1. Deckel(1) zum Aufsiegeln auf ein mit einem Randflansch(7) versehenes Vorzugsweise schalenförmiges Gefäß(6), dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Deckel(1) wenigstens an einer Stelle seines Umfanges mit drei Schnittlinien(3,4,5) versehen ist, von denen je eine beiderseits der Siegelnaht von der dem Gefäß(6) zugekehrten Unterseite und die dritte in geringem Abstand von der inneren unteren von der Oberseite her eingebracht ist, und daß der Deckel(1) aus einem zwischen seinen beiden Oberflächen und parallel zu diesen spaltbaren Material besteht.
  2. Deckel nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Schnittlinien(3,4,5) jeweils wenigstens bis zur Mitte des Deckelmaterials reichen.
  3. Deckel nach Anspruch 1 od. 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Deckel(1) aus Karton hergestellt ist und wenigstens im Bereich der herzustellenden Siegelnaht auf seiner Unterseite siegelfähig beschichtet ist.
  4. Deckel nach Anspruch 1, 2 od. 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß im Bereich der drei Schnittlinien(3,4,5) ein Lappen(2) am Deckel(1) angeformt ist, welcher über den Rand(7) des Gefäßes(6) hinausragt.
