Definitions

  • the invention relates to a locking device for data processing technology devices according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • devices such as Personal computer used, which should only be accessible to authorized persons.
  • these devices are e.g. equipped with a key-operated lock or made lockable. With the lock, either the power supply is interrupted, access to the control panel, e.g. the keyboard, prevented by an overlying mechanical cover, or both executed simultaneously.
  • Locks that can achieve both a quasi electrical and a mechanical locking are known per se.
  • automotive engineering such locks are used as so-called ignition locks, the microswitch controlling the central locking of the doors of a vehicle.
  • ignition locks the microswitch controlling the central locking of the doors of a vehicle.
  • Such locks are too expensive and space-consuming for the devices of data processing technology and in particular for personal computers. Therefore, more cost-effective locking devices have become known in data processing technology, which also enable electrical and mechanical locking.
  • These locking devices use a simple swivel lever lock, such as is also used as a cassette lock, in conjunction with a microswitch.
  • the microswitch is actuated indirectly or directly by the swivel lever, the swivel lever also serving as a mechanical locking element for, for example, a cover over a keyboard or the housing of a computer.
  • a lock is known for example from document EP-A-0 235 615. Because with these simple swivel lever locks, regardless of whether they have a detent marking the end positions at the stop or not, intermediate positions are possible, an over-center spring is also installed on the swivel lever, which pulls the swivel lever into the respective end position.
  • a disadvantage of such locking devices is that they have only one mechanical locking device.
  • one locking device is often not sufficient to adequately protect the device against access by unauthorized persons, because e.g. mechanical access to the mass storage devices, such as floppy disks and / or tape cassette drives, is still possible.
  • the user must therefore ensure that, as soon as he leaves the device, he removes the disks or tape cartridges inserted in these drives in order to prevent possible misuse.
  • One solution to this problem is, for example, to provide a swivel lever lock of the type mentioned at the outset with a second swivel lever which indirectly locks a second part to be locked via an additional locking bolt.
  • the locking bolt can be loaded by a spring in the locking position, so that the second pivot lever only has to pull the locking bolt into the unlocking position if necessary.
  • This locking device therefore requires many individual components.
  • the object of the invention is therefore to provide a second mechanical locking device in a locking device of the type mentioned, which follows the actual Closing process allows a subsequent closing of the second part to be closed and has only a few components.
  • a single locking element takes over the task of several individual parts, whereby the locking device, although it has a second mechanical locking option and stable end positions, manages with fewer components when using simple swivel lever locks.
  • the locking element essentially replaces an over-center spring which stabilizes the respective end position of the swivel lever lock, a locking bolt which locks a second part to be locked and a spring which loads the locking bolt into the locking position.
  • the locking element is preferably designed as a leaf spring that is simple to manufacture.
  • the leaf spring is arranged next to the swivel lever lock so that the installation depth of the locking device is small compared to a locking device with a spiral over-center spring located behind the swivel lever lock.
  • the figure shows a locking device shown in rear view in the locking position.
  • the locking device which is mounted on a carrier part 22, essentially includes a pivot lever lock 1, a leaf spring 2, which among other things performs the function of a locking bolt, and a microswitch 21.
  • the pivot lever lock 1 can be operated with a key in a known manner. It points for a first part to be locked (not shown in the figure) a locking hook 3 looking vertically from the plane of the sheet, which engages in its locking position, for example, in a retaining hook of the first part to be locked.
  • the holding hook is arranged so that the locking hook 3 pivots out of the holding hook when it is shifted into the unlocking position.
  • the pivot lever lock 1 also has a pivot lever 4 which can be pivoted about a pivot axis 5.
  • the pivot lever 4 is e.g. a sheet metal part, on which the locking hook 3 formed from an angled tab is additionally arranged.
  • a first actuating element is arranged, which in the exemplary embodiment is designed as a pin 6.
  • the bolt 6 projects laterally from the pivot lever 4, parallel to the pivot axis 5.
  • the bolt 6 can protrude on both sides of the pivot lever 4.
  • the bolt 6 is arranged on the side of the leg lever 4 facing the viewer of the figure. It is spatially assigned to a microswitch 21 in such a way that the bolt 6 presses on a contact element of the microswitch 21 when pivoting into the locking position.
  • the pivot lever 4 also has a second actuating element, which projects as a bolt 7 on the side of the pivot lever 4 facing away from the viewer of the figure, running parallel to the pivot axis 5.
  • the bolts 6 and 7 expediently run in alignment with one another so that they result in a single bolt.
  • the bolt 7 actuates the leaf spring 2 in such a way that the leaf spring 2 together with the pivoting lever 4 is in the locking or unlocking position, the shift from the locking position into the unlocking position being counter to a spring force.
  • the bolt 7 is arranged in the angular range of a first end part 9 projecting approximately at right angles from a central section 8 of the leaf spring 2.
  • the free end of the first approximately right-angled end part 9 has an angled stop 10 which limits the pivoting range of the pivot lever 4 by means of the bolt 7 sliding along the end part 9 when the pivot lever 4 is displaced from the locked position to the unlocked position or vice versa .
  • the end part 9 is buckled in the direction of the pivot lever lock 1, so that the pivot lever 4 experiences an over-center force effect by means of the bolt 7 during the displacement.
  • the end part 9 is bent so far that the free end of the end part 9 runs approximately tangentially to the pivot axis 5.
  • the bolt 7 When the pivot lever 4 is pivoted from the locked position into the unlocked position, the bolt 7 first presses on the partial region of the end part 9 which projects from the central section 8 of the leaf spring 2 at a right angle. As a result, the central section 8 of the leaf spring 2 is raised somewhat. Even if the bolt 7 passes along the inside of the end part 9 up to the stop 10, the middle section 8 is held in the raised position.
  • the middle section 8 of the leaf spring 2 is guided between lateral support elements 11 and 12.
  • the section 8 as indicated by the dash-dotted lines, is slightly bent away from the swivel lever lock 1.
  • the section 8 cant on the support element 12, whereby this section 8 is secured against slipping back into its locking position.
  • the other end region of the central section 8 of the leaf spring 2 is designed as a latching lug 13 with an adjoining bevel 14.
  • this locking lug 13 engages behind a support shoulder 15
  • Locking device of a second part to be locked which is formed by a wall section of a recess in this part.
  • This part can be designed, for example, as a slide 16 which can be displaced transversely to the pivot axis 5. Once in the locking position, the slide 16 can only be pushed back, provided that this is not prevented by the latch 13. With the lifting of the central section 8 of the leaf spring 2, the locking lug 13 is raised so far that the slide 16 is released. If the locking lug 13 is in front of the slider 16 in the locking position, the locking lug 13 is briefly raised by the run-up bevel 14 until it can reach behind the support shoulder 15 of the slider 16.
  • the free second end part of the leaf spring 2 adjoining the run-up slope 14 is designed as a slightly curved spring arm 17. It is inserted on the side facing away from the bevel 14 into a recess in a support wall 18 under prestress, the spring arm 17 being supported on the one hand by the edge 19 of the recess 18 and on the other hand by a kink 20 at the free end of the spring arm 17. In this way, a torque acts on the spring arm 17, by means of which the leaf spring 2 is pulled into the locking position.
