Definitions
- the present invention relates to a plastic shoe with ventilation.
- Plastic shoes have been known for some time, both those in which only certain parts, for example upper or lower part, toe cap or sole, are made of plastic, as well as those which are made entirely of plastic. Such shoes are offered primarily for special purposes, for example as beach shoes, bathing shoes, sports shoes and the like, but also for general use as work shoes and street shoes.
- DE-C-828 153 discloses a method and a device for molding a one-piece shoe from thermoplastic materials, such as polyvinyl chloride or rubber, which can be designed in such a way that air holes are also formed at certain points on the shoe.
- thermoplastic materials such as polyvinyl chloride or rubber
- DE-A-29 30 807 which corresponds to a shoe according to the preamble of claim 1.
- This document describes a one-piece, washable and sterilizable shoe made of elastic, resistant material, preferably made of foamed plastic material, which contains ventilation openings in the vertical side region of the upper part of the shoe above the outsole edge, the outer boundary edges of which lie deeper than the corresponding inner boundary edges.
- the ventilation openings are preferably arranged at least in a row around the front upper part of the shoe.
- the special construction of the ventilation openings and their arrangement in certain areas of the shoe ensure good ventilation, especially the sole of the foot in the shoe, while the back or instep is not so well ventilated, so that heat build-up can still occur, which can also occur through conventional ventilation openings in the mirror area of the shoe upper cannot be reduced or prevented to the desired extent.
- the present invention is therefore based on the object of providing a plastic shoe in which the above-mentioned disadvantages can be avoided entirely or largely, by means of a simple but effective ventilation system, and which is also characterized by foot-friendly wearability when worn over a long period of time, which is why good ventilation of the foot, especially the entire back of the foot, is essential.
- a plastic shoe with ventilation consisting of a shoe bottom with an outsole and a shoe upper, which is shaped so that it forms a cavity for receiving the foot together with the shoe bottom, wherein there are ventilation openings at least in the mirror area of the shoe upper.
- This shoe is characterized in that the upper of the shoe has a bulge in the mirror area which extends over at least part of the area provided with ventilation openings, whereby an additional curved space is formed, via which the mouths located in this area on the inside of the upper of the shoe Ventilation openings are interconnected.
- the bulge in the mirror area is formed by a corresponding reduction in the wall thickness compared to that of the wall which is not bulged.
- Plastic shoes in the sense of this invention are understood to mean shoes in which at least the upper, but preferably the entire shoe, is made of a suitable plastic, so that ventilation of such shoes is desirable due to the heat-insulating properties of the plastic portion, and in view of the wearability of the shoes Shoes is also necessary.
- plastics are suitable for the shoes which meet the requirements for strength, elasticity, deformability and, if appropriate, washability and sterilizability and / or disinfectability.
- the shoes according to the invention advantageously consist of foamed plastic material, for example of foamed polyurethane.
- the shoes can also be made from polyvinyl chloride or similar plastics be.
- the plastic material used for the shoe upper or the entire shoe is given the desired shape by casting or injection molding the plastic material, which is in a flowable state, in a corresponding mold from lasts, lower and upper mold in a manner known per se, and at the same time also in the mirror area of the shoe and If necessary, ventilation openings provided at other locations can also be formed.
- the plastic materials used for the production of shoes are relatively stiff and impermeable to air, which is why special equipment must be available for plastic shoes. to ensure that these shoes reach an acceptable wearability.
- This includes providing the plastic shoes with ventilation openings, e.g. in the mirror area of the upper of the shoe.
- ventilation openings e.g. in the mirror area of the upper of the shoe.
- the conventional ventilation openings in the mirror area do not provide satisfactory ventilation of the back of the foot, because the back of the foot usually lies quite close to the inside of the upper of the shoe in the mirror area and thereby closes the ventilation openings from the inside more or less tightly with the Consequence that these can not or only insufficiently fulfill their ventilation function.
- the shoe according to the invention is designated 1 in its entirety in FIG.
- the shoe consists of a lower part with an outsole 2 and a heel 3, which in the embodiment shown is offset from the outsole.
- the footrest surface is designated 4 and the shoe upper part with the 5th shoe upper part 5 and lower part together form a cavity for receiving the front and middle foot part.
- the upper part ends with a slip opening that releases the heel, through which the foot can be easily slipped on and off in the shoe.
- the shoe 1 has a shoe cap which can be pulled up so far that the heel is enclosed and protected by it.
- the shoe 1 shown in FIG. 1 has numerous ventilation openings 7 in the mirror area 6, which comprises the largest part of the front, more or less horizontal upper 5 of the shoe, which should serve to ventilate the back of the foot.
- the inside of the shoe upper 5 shows, in the mirror area 6, as indicated in FIG. 1, a bulge 8 which, in the embodiment shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, extends over all ventilation openings 7. So that the bulge 8 located on the inside of the shoe upper 5 is not visible from the outside, the bulge 8 is formed on the inside of the shoe upper 5 in the mirror region 6 by a corresponding reduction in the wall thickness compared to that of the non-bulged wall.
- transition from the not bulged wall to the bulged is expediently Part of the wall, the surface of which bounces back by a certain amount compared to the surface of the non-bulged wall, as gently as possible, that is to say as far as possible without forming shoulders or edges, as shown, for example, in FIG. 2.
- This avoids possible disadvantages when wearing the shoe, such as the occurrence of pressure points that could be caused by sharp transition points in the border area of the bulge 8.
- the bulge 8 in the mirror area 6 is also visible from the outside of the shoe, the bulge 8 can also be formed in that the wall area in which the bulge 8 is to be located without changing the wall thickness is displaced outwards by the desired amount in relation to the non-bulged wall, so that the bulge 8 on the inside of the shoe upper 5 corresponds to a correspondingly shaped raised part on the outside of the shoe upper 5.
- the bulge 8 is formed by a corresponding reduction in the wall thickness compared to that of the non-bulged wall and the bulge 8 is not visible from the outside.
- An embodiment of the plastic shoe according to the invention is particularly preferred in which the wall thickness in the bulged wall area is at least 25% and at most 75% less than that of the wall which is not bulged.
- An embodiment is very particularly preferred in which the wall thickness in the bulged wall area is 50% less than that of the non-bulged wall.
- the bulge 8 on the inside of the shoe upper 5 in the mirror area 6 forms an additional arched space 9, briefly referred to as a dome, delimited by the adjacent non-bulged wall, via which the mouths of the ventilation openings 7 located in this area can communicate with one another. This ensures good ventilation of the entire back of the foot, even when the shoe is worn for a long time.
