Abstract
Description
Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Verpacken von Lebensmitteln unter Schutzgas in Kunststoffbecher mit flexiblem Deckel.The invention relates to a method for packaging food under protective gas in a plastic cup with a flexible lid.
Derartige Verfahren werden taktweise durchgeführt und umfassen die Arbeitsgänge Produktabfüllen, Schutzgasspülen, Deckelauflegen und Deckelverschweißen. Das Schutzgasspülen geschieht in der Weise, daß über eine oder mehrere Gasdüsen das Schutzgas, beispielsweise Stickstoff, Kohlendioxid oder Argon, von oben in den mit Produkt gefüllten Becher geblasen wird. Es ist unmittelbar einzusehen, daß bei dieser Verfahrensweise große spezifische Schutzgasmengen benötigt werden, um den Kopfraum des Bechers mit Schutzgas.zu füllen. Der mit Produkt gefüllte Becher hat in der Regel einen Kopfraum von 50 bis 100 ml, der als flache Scheibe von maximal 10 mm Höhe ausgebildet ist. Ein ausreichender Gasaustausch in diesem offenen Kopfraum ist nur möglich, wenn mit Schutgasmengen gespült wird, die ein Vielfaches des Kopfraumvolumens betragen. Diese Verfahrensweise ist daher allein schon vom Schutzgasbedarf her gesehen unbefriedigend. Als weiterer Nachteil kommt bei dieser Verfahrensweise hinzu, daß sich das Eindringen von Luftsauerstoff in den mit Schutzgas gefüllten Kopfraum nicht vermeiden läßt. Nach dem Spülen mit Schutzgas dauert es nämlich noch ca. 2 Sek., bis der Becher verdeckelt wird. Diese Leerlaufstandzeit führt zum erneuten Gasautausch, der Sauerstoffgehalt steigt wieder an. Außerdem wird durch das Auflegen des Deckels noch zusätzlich Luft in den Kopfraum des Bechers gedrückt und eingeschlossen.Such methods are carried out in cycles and include the work steps of product filling, protective gas purging, lid placement and lid welding. Der Erfindung liegt daher die Aufgabe zugrunde, ein Verfahren zum Verpacken von Lebensmittel unter Schutzgas in Kunststoffbecher zu schaffen, welches sich durch einen geringen spezifischen Schutzgasverbrauch auszeichnet und das Eindringen von Luftsauerstoff in den mit Schutzgas gespülten Kopfraum des Bechers verhindert.The invention is therefore based on the object of providing a method for packaging food under protective gas in a plastic cup, which is distinguished by a low specific protective gas consumption and prevents the penetration of atmospheric oxygen into the head space of the cup flushed with protective gas.
Bei einem Verfahren zum Verpacken von Lebensmitteln unter Schutzgas in Kunststoffbecher mit flexiblem Deckel, bei dem taktweise die Arbeitsgänge Produktabfüllen, Schutzgasspülen, Deckelauflegen und Deckelverschweißen durchgeführt werden, wird dies gemäß der Erfindung dadurch erreicht, daß die Arbeitsgänge in der Reihenfolge Produktabfüllen, Deckelauflegen, Schutzgasspülen und Deckelverschweißen ausgeführt werden, wobei das Schutzgasspülen erfolgt, indem der Deckel an mindestens einer Stelle auf dem Becherrand fixiert wird, eine Seite des Deckels etwas angehoben wird und durch den hierdurch gebildeten Spalt das Schutzgas eingeblasen wird. - Das Fixieren des Deckels auf den Becherrand kann durch eine oder mehrere Punktschweißungen bewerkstelligt werden. Der Deckel kann auch durch im Arbeitstakt betätigte Niederhalter auf den Becherrand gedrückt und fixiert werden. Das Anheben des Deckels kann auf vielfältige Weise erfolgen. Gut bewährt hat sich eine Verfahrensweise, bei der die Deckelabreißlasche über einen Keil gleitet. Wenn die Deckelabreißlasche das dicke Ende des Keils erreicht hat, ist der Deckel etwas angehoben. Vorzugsweise erfolgt hierbei die Schutzgaszufuhr durch eine Bohrung im dicken Keilende. Eine weitere Verfahrensweise zum Anheben des Deckels, die sich praktisch bewährt hat, besteht darin, daß der Deckel mittels der Gasdüse zum Einblasen des Schutzgases angehoben wird. Die Gasdüse wird hierzu im Arbeitstakt in vertikaler Richtung angehoben und wieder abgesenkt. Fig.1 zeigt die Glieder 1 - 7 eines Transportbandes, mit dem die Kunststoffbecher 9 - 13 taktweise zu den einzelnen Arbeitsstationen befördert werden. Die Förderrichtung ist durch Pfeile 8 angegeben. über dem Kunststoffbecher 12 befindet sich die Dosiereinrichtung 14 für das abzufüllende Produkt 15. Eine Arbeitsstation weiter befindet sich über dem Kunststoffbecher 11 der Deckelvorratsbehälter 16. Ein Deckel 17 liegt hier bereits auf dem Kunststoffbecher 11 auf. In der nächsten Arbeitsstation erfolgt das Spülen mit Schutzgas, welches durch die Gasdüse 18 zugeführt wird. Der auf dem Kunststoffbecher 10 befindliche Deckel 19 ist durch eine gestrichelte Linie dargestellt. Der Deckel 19 ist vom Rand des Kunststoffbechers 10 leicht angehoben, und zwar auf der einen Seite durch die Gasdüse 18, auf der anderen Seite durch das entweichende Gas 20. Der Deckel 19 wird durch zwei in Fig.1 nicht dargestellte Niederhalter auf dem Rand des Kunststoffbechers 10 fixiert. Die letzte Arbeitsstation zeigt schließlich den Kunststoffbecher 9 mit dem Deckel 22, der mit Hilfe des Schweißkopfes 21 auf den Rand des Kunststoffbechers 9 geschweißt wird.Fig.1 shows the links 1-7 of a conveyor belt with which the plastic cups 9-13 are cyclically transported to the individual work stations. In den Fig.2 u.3 ist das Spülen des Kopfraumes des Bechers 10 von Fig.1 gemäß der Erfindung vergrößert dargestellt. Der Deckel 19 wird durch eine Aufwärtsbewegung der Gasdüse 18 etwas angehoben. Vorzugsweise geschieht dies an der Aufreißlasche 23. Danach wird das Schutzgas eingeblasen, was durch die Pfeile 24 angedeutet ist. Das aus dem Kopfraum des Bechers 10 entweichende Gas 20, also Luft, vermischt mit Schutzgas, hebt den Deckel 19 an der gegenüberliegenden Seite ebenfalls an. Nach-dem genügend Schutzgas eingeblasen ist, wird die Gasdüse 18 abgesenkt und seitlich wegbewegt, so daß der Kunststoffbecher 10 im nächsten Arbeitstakt zur nächsten Arbeitsstation weiterbefördert werden kann. Die Bewegung der Gasdüse 18 in vertikaler Richtung ist durch Pfeile 25 dargestellt, die seitliche Bewegung der Gasdüse 18 durch einen Pfeil 26. Die seitliche Bewegung der Gasdüse 18 erübrigt sich, wenn das Einblasen des Schutzgases von der Seite des Transportbandes her erfolgt, also 90° versetzt gegenüber der dargestellten Anordnung. Die mittlere Arbeitsstation, in welcher sich der Kunststoffbecher 34 befindet, zeigt das Anheben des Deckels 37 und Spülen mit Schutzgas gemäß der Erfindung. Zum Anheben des Deckels 37 dient ein feststehender Keil 39, der sich beim Vorwärtsbewegen des Kunststoffbechers 34 in Förderrichtung unter die Aufreißlasche 40 des Deckels 37 schiebt und diesen entsprechend seiner Dicke etwas anhebt. Durch eine Bohrung mit Zufuhrstutzen 41 im dicken Ende des Keils 39 wird das Schutzgas 42 eingeblasen. Das entweichende Gas ist durch Pfeile 43 dargestellt.
