Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine Kunststofffolienbahn und/oder -zuschnitt aus vorzugsweise flächig aufeinanderliegenden Kunststoffolien, -bahnen und/oder -zuschnitten, die an mindestens einem Rand, vorzugsweise an mehreren Rändern miteinander verschweißt sind und aus Olefinhomo-, -co-, -terpolymerisaten und/oder Polyolefinlegierungen zu mehr als 50 Gew.-i, vorzugsweise mehr als 70 Gew.-%,bestehen oder diese enthalten und daraus hergestellte Hülle, Verpackung und ähnlicher Kunststoffartikel.
Das Verschweißen von Kunststoffolien, die vor dem Verschweißen in flächige Anlage gebracht werden, ist bereits bekannt. Bestimmte Kunststoffolien, &zgr;. &Bgr;. solche aus oder unter Mitverwendung von Polyolefinen (Polypropylen, Polyethylen und dgl.) sowie anderen Kunststoffen sir.d jedoch problematisch, da bei oder nach dem Schweißvorgang Störungen, z. B. Verwellungen des Materials neben den Scheißnähten, Verwerfungen, Schrumpfungen, Fehlerstellen und dgl. auftreten.
Es sind bereits Verfahren bekannt, bei denen die PoIymerfoiien vor dem Verschweißvorgang einer Vorbehandlung, &zgr;. B. einer Temperung (vgl. DE-PS 26 30 817) unterworfen werden.
Nachteilig ist jedoch, daß bei bestimmten Kunststofffolienbahnen, je nach Art des Kunststoffes, Schwierigkeiten bei dem Verschweißen oder bei dem Schweißgut auftreten, insbesondere unsichere Schweißnähte entstehen, nur eine geradlinige Verschweißung möglich ist,
das Heißband verklebt oder sich zu stark abnutzt oder keine L=, bogen-, oder U-förmigen und dgl, Trennähte zu erzielen sind.
Ziel und Aufgabe der vorliegenden Erfindung war es, diese Nachteile zu vermeiden und eine Kunststoffolienbahn und/oder -zuschnitt aus vorzugsweise flächig aufeinanderliegenden Kunststoffolien, -bahnen und/oder -zuschnitten, die an mindestens einem Rand, vorzugsweise an mehreren Rändern miteinander verschweißt sind und aus Olefinhorao-, -co-, -terpolymerisaten und/oder Polyolefinlegierungen zu mehr als 50 Gew.-&iacgr;, vorzugsweise mehr als 70 Gew.-&iacgr;, bestehe/, oder diese enthalten, zu finden, die vorteilhafter ist. Sie sollte sichere Trennähte aufweisen. Die Form der Schweißnähte sollte von der geradlinigen Schweißnahtf.orm abweichen können und insbesondere L-, bogen-, U-förmig oder raehreckig sein. Die Schweißnaht sollte ästhetisch wirkende Profilierungen aufweisen.
Erfindungsgemäß wurde festgestellt, daß diesen Zielen und Aufgaben eine Kunststoffolienbahn und/oder -zuschnitt aus vorzugsweise flächig aufeinanderliegenden Kunststoffolien, -bahnen und/oder -zuschnitten gerecht wird, die mindestens einen Rand, vorzugsweise mehrere Ränder aufweist, der bzw. dia trennaht- und wärmekontaktverschweißt ist bzw. sind . Die Kunststoffolienbahnen und/oder -zuschnitte besitzen unterschiedliche Härten, wobei der Härteunterschied zwischen einer Ober- und Unterfolienbahn und/oder -zuschnitt 5-20 Shore D, vorzugsweise 8-16 Shore D, beträgt.
Die verschweißten Ränder weisen erfindungsgemäß eine oder mehrere Profilierungen, vorzugsweise Längs-,
Quer- und/oder Nahtstichprofilierungen oder Bördelkantenprofilierungen, auf. Es gelingt dadurch, schön verzierte Schweißender bei den verschweißten Kunststoffartikeln zu erhalten, die z. B. eine Längs-, Quer- und/oder Nahtstichprofilierung oder andere Profilierungen besitzen. Eine Kunststoffolienbahn oder ein -zuschnitt ist dabei vorzugsweise opak oder farbstoff- bzw. farbpigmeriuhaiLig und eine ändere KUnatatoffolienbahn oder ein anderer -zuschnitt transparent.
Die flächig aufeinanderliegenden Kunststoff- folien, -bahnen und/oder -zuschnitte werden mittels einer Schweißpresse, deren Schweißelektrode eine spitze Schneidkante mit einem abgeschrägten, vorzugsweise gegenüber der Schneidkante zurückspringend angeordneten Schweißprofil aufweist, trennahtverschweißt, wobei die trennahtverschweißten materialvsrdünnten Stellen oder Linien, über die das Folienabfallgitter mit dem Kunststoffartikel zunächst noch in Verbindung steht, 3 - 25 %, vorzugsweise 4 - 20 %, der Gesamtdicke der flächig aufeinanderliegenden Kunststoffolien, -bahnen und/oder -zuschnitte beträgt. Der Transport der Kunststoffolien, -bahnen und/oder -zuschnitte in der und durch die Schweißpresse wird mittels eines Transportbandes durchgeführt und/oder die Trennahtwärmekontaktverschweißung erfolgt in Gegenwart des über der beheizten Gegenelektrode angeordneten oder gelagerten Kunststofftransportbandes (auf dem die flächig übereinanderliegenden Kunststoffolien-, -bahnen und/oder -zuschnitte angeordnet sind).
Es können einerseits opake oder gefärbte Kunststofffolien, -bahnen oder -zuschnitte, andererseits transparente Kunststoffolien, -bahnen oder -zuschnitte
eingesetzt. Der D-Shore-Bereich der einen Kunststoff- $ folie, -bahn oder des -Zuschnittes beträgt bei diesem

weise 8-16 Shore-D. Als Folien werden Polyolefinfolien und/oder polypropylen- und/oder polyethylenhaltige Folien eingesetzt. Als transparente Folien werden bevorzugt solche verwendet, die gleitmittelfrei sind.

In Fig. 1 und 2 ist ein vertikaler Schnitt durch die Schweißelektrode der Schweißpresse schematisch dargestellt. Die vertikal angeordnete Schweißelektrode 1 ist mit der spitzen oder messerähnlichen Schweißkante ?. versehen, die einen Sahnoid-Schweißvorgang durchführt. An der Schweißelektrode befindet 3ich weiterhin das gegenüber der Schneidkante zurückspringend angeordnete, mit einer Stufe versehene Schweißprufii 3» dessen Fläche vorzugsweise parallsl oder annähernd parallel zur Kunststoffolienbahn und/oder zum Transportband und/oder zur Fläche der Gegenelektrode 5 ist.
Das Schweißprofil besitzt bevorzugt Kerbungen, Riffelungen oder andere Profilierungen. Auf der Kunststofffolienbahn 7 ist ein Kunststoffolienzuschnitt oder -zuschnitteil 6 angeordnet. An der Schweißelektrode 1 befindet sich die nutähnxiche Vertiefung U, in die bei dem Schweißvorgang etwas Kunsttoffmaterial des Randteiles zeitweise gedrückt wird.
In Fig 2 ist zusätzlich das Transportband 8 schematisch dargestellt.
In Fig. 3 ist ein Schnitt durch die verschweißten Kunststoffolienbahnen 7 und/oder -zuschnitte 6 dargestellt.

Claims (1)

  1. Schutzansprüche
    Kunststoffolienbahn und/oder -zuschnitt aus vorzugsweise flächig aufeinanderliegenden Kunststofffolien, -bahnen und/oder -zuschnitten, die an mindestens einem Rand, vorzugsweise an mehreren Rändern miteinander verschweißt sind und aus Olefinhomo-, -co-, -terpolymerisaten und/oder Polyolefinlegierungen zu mehr als 50 Gew.-&iacgr;, vorzugsweise mehr als 70 Gew.-%, bestehen oder diese enthalten und daraus hergestellte Hülle, Verpackung und ähnliche Kunststoffartikel, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß mindestens ein Rand, vorzugsweise mehrere Ränder der Kunststoffolienbahnen trennaht- und wärmekontsktve"schweißt ist und die Kunststoffolienbahnen und/oder -zuschnitte unterschiedliche Härten aufweisen, wobei der Härteunterschied zwischen einer Ober- und Unterfolienbahn und/oder -zuschnitt
    5-20 Shore D, vorzugsweise 8-16 Shore D,
    beträgt.
    Verschweißte Kunststoffolienbahn und/oder -zuschnitt nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der verschweißte Rand eine oder mehrere Profilierungsn, vorzugsweise Längs-, Quer- und/oder Nahtstichprofilierungen oder Bördelkantenprofilierungen, aufweist und daß eine Kunststoffolienbahn oder ein -zuschnitt opak oder farbstoff- bzw. farbpigmenthaltig ist und eine andere Kunststoffolienbahn oder ein anderer -zuschnitt transparent ist.
