Description
- Diese Erfindung bezieht sich auf ein Kältemittel, das im wesentlichen aus einem im wesentlichen chlorfreien, fluorgruppenhaltigen organischen Wärmeübertragungsmedium und einem Schmiermittel besteht. Die Schmiermittel können compoundierte Schmiermittel sein, die wenigstens ein Additiv für Zwecke wie Verbesserung der Hochdruck- und/oder Verschleißbeständigkeit, Korrosionshemmung und dergleichen zusammen mit den Schmiermittelbasen, die den Schmiermitteln die primäre Schmiereigenschaft verleihen, enthalten. Die Kältemittel enthalten Schmiermittel zusammen mit primären Wärmeübertragungsmedien, die aus chlorfreien, fluorgruppenhaltigen organischen Wärmeübertragungsmedien für Kältemittel, wie Pentafluorethan, 1,1-Difluorethan, 1,1,1-Trifluorethan und Tetrafluorethanen, insbesondere 1,1,1,2-Tetrafluorethan, ausgewählt sind. Die Schmiermittel und Schmiermittelbasen sind in Kombination mit diesen Wärmeübertragungsmedien besonders gut geeignet, um Verdichter zu schmieren, die wenigstens zeitweise bei Temperaturen arbeiten, die wesentlich höher sind als die Temperaturen, bei denen Menschen sich wohl fühlen können; solche Verdichter werden im allgemeinen zum Beispiel in Fahrzeugklimaanlagen verwendet.
- Chlorfreie Wärmeübertragungsmedien sind zur Verwendung in Kühlsystemen wünschenswert, da sie beim Entweichen in die Atmosphäre weniger Umweltschäden anrichten als die zur Zeit am häufigsten verwendeten Chlorfluorkohlenwasserstoff-Wärmeübertragungsmedien, wie Trichlorfluormethan und Dichlordifluormethan. Die weitverbreitete kommerzielle Verwendung von chlorfreien Wärmeübertragungsmedien für Kältemittel wurde jedoch durch das Fehlen kommerziell geeigneter Schmiermittel behindert. Dies gilt insbesondere für eines der wünschenswertesten Kältemittel, 1,1,1,2-Tetrafluorethan, das in der Technik gemeinhin als "Refrigerant 134a" oder einfach "R134a" bekannt ist. Andere fluorsubstituierte Ethane sind ebenfalls wünschenswerte Kältemittel.
- Ester gehinderter Polyole, die zu diesem Zweck als organische Moleküle definiert werden, die wenigstens fünf Kohlenstoffatome, wenigstens 2 OH- Gruppen und keine Wasserstoffatome an einem Kohlenstoffatom, das direkt an ein eine OH-Gruppe tragendes Kohlenstoffatom gebunden ist, enthalten, sind in der Technik bereits als Schmiermittelbasen mit hoher Qualität für fast jeden Typ von Kühlmaschine, bei dem ein Fluorkohlenwasserstoff-Kühlmittel, insbesondere ein chlorfreies, eingesetzt wird, anerkannt. Die folgenden Patente und veröffentlichten Patentanmeldungen lehren ebenfalls viele allgemeine Klassen von und spezielle Beispiele für Polyolester als geeignete Schmiermittel für Kältemittel mit chlorfreien, fluorgruppenhaltigen Wärmeübertragungsmedien: US-A-4,851, 144, GB-A- 2 216 541, US-A-5,021,179, US-A-5,096,606, WO-A-90/12849 (Lubrizol), EP-A-0 406 479 (Kyodo Oil), EP-A-0 430 657 (Asahi Denka K. K.), EP-A- 0 435 253 (Nippon Oil), EP-A-0 445 610 und 0 445 611 (Hoechst AG), EP-A-0 449 406, EP-A-0 458 584 (Unichema Chemie BV) und EP-A- 0 485 979 (Hitachi).
- Im einzelnen bezieht sich die vorliegende Erfindung auf ein Kältemittel, im wesentlichen bestehend aus (A) einem im wesentlichen chlorfreien, fluorgruppenhaltigen organischen Wärmeübertragungsmedium und (B) einem Schmiermittel mit einer Viskosität zwischen 0,45 und 1,57 m²/s (45 und 157 Centistokes) bei 40ºC, das im wesentlichen aus einem Gemisch von Polyolestermolekülen besteht, wobei (a) wenigstens 95% der Alkoholeinheiten aus der Gruppe ausgewählt sind, die aus den Alkoholeinheiten besteht, die von Pentaerythrit (PE) und Dipentaerythrit (DPE) abgeleitet sind und wenigstens 92% der Acylgruppen aus der Gruppe ausgewählt sind, die aus den Acylgruppen aller geradkettigen und verzweigten einbasigen Säuren mit vier bis zwölf Kohlenstoffatomen besteht; (b) wenigstens 20% der Alkoholeinheiten von DPE abgeleitet sind; (c) zur Herstellung des Esters nur einbasige Säuren verwendet werden; (d) wenigstens 98% der einbasigen Säuremoleküle jeweils nicht mehr als 10 Kohlenstoffatome aufweisen; (e) der Prozentsatz der verzweigten oder unverzweigten Acylgruppen in dem Gemisch, die wenigstens neun Kohlenstoffatome enthalten, nicht größer als 49 ist; und (f) insgesamt wenigstens 29% der Acylgruppen in dem Gemisch Acylgruppen von einer der Trimethylhexansäuren sind.
- In einer Ausführungsform hat das Schmiermittel (B) eine Viskosität zwischen 0,45 und 1,57 m²/s (45 und 157 Centistokes) bei 40ºC und besteht im wesentlichen aus einem Gemisch von Polyolestermolekülen, wobei wenigstens 95% der Alkoholeinheiten aus der Gruppe ausgewählt sind, die aus den Alkoholeinheiten besteht, die von PE (Pentaerythrit) und DPE (Dipentaerythrit) abgeleitet sind, wobei wenigstens 20% der Alkoholeinheiten von DPE abgeleitete Alkoholeinheiten sind und wenigstens 92% der Acylgruppen aus der Gruppe ausgewählt sind, die aus den Acylgruppen aller geradkettigen und verzweigten einbasigen und zweibasigen Säuren mit jeweils vier bis zwölf Kohlenstoffatomen besteht, wobei die Alkoholeinheiten und die Acylgruppen weiterhin mit den Einschränkungen ausgewählt sind, dass (a) insgesamt wenigstens 3% der Acylgruppen in dem Gemisch Acylgruppen einer i-C&sub5;-Säure sind; (b) das Verhältnis des Prozentsatzes an Acylgruppen in dem Gemisch, die 8 oder mehr Kohlenstoffatome enthalten und unverzweigt sind, zu dem Prozentsatz an Acylgruppen in dem Gemisch, die sowohl verzweigt sind als auch nicht mehr als sechs Kohlenstoffatome enthalten, nicht größer als 1,56 ist; (c) der Prozentsatz an verzweigten oder unverzweigten Acylgruppen in dem Gemisch, die wenigstens neun Kohlenstoffatome enthalten, nicht größer als 49 ist; (d) nicht mehr als 2% der Acylgruppen in dem Estergemisch Bestandteil von Säuremolekülen mit jeweils mehr als zwei Carboxygruppen sind; und es sich bei insgesamt wenigstens 20% der Acylgruppen in dem Gemisch um eine der Trimethylhexanoyl-Acylgruppen handelt und nicht mehr als 7,5% der Acylgruppen in dem Estergemisch zweibasig sind.
- Bevorzugte Ausführungsformen gehen aus den beigefügten Ansprüchen hervor.
- Insbesondere sollten Ester gemäß dieser Erfindung bei 40ºC eine Viskosität von nicht mehr als 1,57 m²/s (157 Centistokes) oder mit steigender Präferenz in der angegebenen Reihenfolge nicht mehr als 1,45, 1,34, 1,23, 1,15 oder 1,10 m²/s (145, 134, 123, 115 oder 110 Centistokes) haben. Unabhängig davon sollten Ester gemäß dieser Erfindung bei 40ºC eine Viskosität von wenigstens 0,45 m²/s (45 Centistokes) oder mit steigender Präferenz in der angegebenen Reihenfolge wenigstens 0,51, 0,64, 0,76, 0,85 oder 0,90 m²/s (51, 64, 76, 85 oder 90 Centistokes) haben.
- Es wurde jetzt gefunden, dass ausgewählte Polyolester eine Schmierung hoher Qualität für diese Art des Gebrauchs ergeben. Besonders effektiv sind Ester oder Gemische von Estern, die hergestellt werden durch Umsetzen von (i) einem Gemisch von Alkoholmolekülen, die aus der Gruppe ausgewählt sind, die aus 2,2-Dimethylol-1-butanol (auch als "Trimethylolpropan" bekannt und im folgenden häufig als "TMP" abgekürzt), Ditrimethylolpropan (im folgenden häufig als "DTMP" abgekürzt), einem Molekül mit vier Hydroxygruppen und einer Etherbindung, das formal von zwei Molekülen TMP abgeleitet ist, indem man eine Hydroxygruppe von einem der TMP-Moleküle und ein Wasserstoffatom von einer Hydroxygruppe des anderen TMP-Moleküls unter Bildung von Wasser entfernt und die beiden Reste der ursprünglichen TMP-Moleküle mit einer Etherbindung miteinander verbindet, 2,2-Dimethylolpropan-1,3-diol (auch als "Pentaerythrit" bekannt und im folgenden häufig als "PE" abgekürzt), Dipentaerythrit (im folgenden häufig als "DPE" abgekürzt), einem Molekül mit sechs Hydroxygruppen und einer Etherbindung, das durch eine analoge Eliminierung der Elemente von Wasser, wie sie oben für DTMP beschrieben ist, formal von zwei PE-Molekülen abgeleitet ist, Tripentaerythrit (im folgenden häufig als "TPE" abgekürzt), einem Molekül mit acht Hydroxygruppen und zwei Etherbindungen, das durch eine analoge Eliminierung der Elemente von zwei Molekülen Wasser, wie sie oben für DTMP und DPE (für die Eliminierung eines einzigen Moleküls Wasser) beschrieben ist, formal von drei PE-Molekülen abgeleitet ist, sowie Tritrimethylolpropan (im folgenden häufig als "TTMP" abgekürzt), einem Molekül mit fünf Hydroxygruppen und zwei Etherbindungen, das formal von drei TMP-Molekülen durch eine analoge Eliminierung der Elemente von zwei Molekülen Wasser abgeleitet ist, wie es oben für TPE beschrieben ist, besteht, mit (ii) einem Gemisch von Säuremolekülen, die aus der Gruppe ausgewählt sind, die aus allen geradkettigen und verzweigten einbasigen und zweibasigen Carbonsäuren mit jeweils vier bis zwölf Kohlenstoffatomen besteht, wobei für die Alkoholeinheiten und Acylgruppen in dem · ausgewählten Estergemisch die Einschränkungen gelten, dass (a) insgesamt wenigstens 3% oder mit steigender Präferenz in der angegebenen Reihenfolge wenigstens 7, 10, 14, 16 oder 19% der Acylgruppen in dem Gemisch 2-Methylbutanoyl- oder 3-Methylbutanoyl gruppen sind, die im folgenden gemeinsam als "Acylgruppen von i-C5- Säure" abgekürzt werden; (b) das Verhältnis des Prozentsatzes an Acylgruppen in dem Gemisch, die 8 oder mehr Kohlenstoffatome enthalten und unverzweigt sind, zu dem Prozentsatz an Acylgruppen in dem Gemisch, die sowohl verzweigt sind als auch nicht mehr als sechs, vorzugsweise nicht mehr als fünf, Kohlenstoffatome enthalten, nicht größer als 1,56, besonders bevorzugt nicht größer als 1,21 oder noch mehr bevorzugt nicht größer als 1,00 ist; (c) der Prozentsatz an verzweigten oder unverzweigten Acylgruppen in dem Estergemisch, die wenigstens neun Kohlenstoffatome enthalten, nicht größer als 49 ist; und (d) nicht mehr als 2%, vorzugsweise nicht mehr als l% oder noch mehr bevorzugt nicht mehr als 0,4% der Acylgruppen in dem Estergemisch von Säuremolekülen mit jeweils mehr als zwei Carboxygruppen stammen; und (e) insgesamt wenigstens 29% der Acylgruppen in dem Gemisch aus einer der Trimethylhexansäuren stammen, am meisten bevorzugt aus 3,5,5-Trimethylhexansäure; und nicht mehr als 7,5% oder mit steigender Präferenz in der angegebenen Reihenfolge nicht mehr als 6,0, 4, 5, 3,0, 1,7, 0,9 oder 0,4% der Acylgruppen in dem Säuregemisch zweibasig sind. Bei allen diesen Prozentangaben werden Acylgruppen als einzelne Gruppe gezählt, unabhängig davon, wie viele Valenzen sie haben. Zum Beispiel ergibt jedes Molekül Adipinsäure eine einzige zweibasige Acylgruppe, wenn es vollständig verestert ist.
- (Selbstverständlich ist es bei allen Typen von Estern, die hier als Bestandteil der Erfindung beschrieben sind, auch möglich, dieselben Ester oder Gemische von Estern zu erhalten, indem man Säurederivate, wie Säureanhydride, Acylchloride und Ester der Säuren mit Alkoholen mit einem niedrigeren Molekulargewicht, als für die Esterprodukte gemäß dieser Erfindung gewünscht wird, umsetzt, anstatt die Säuren selbst umzusetzen. Die Säuren werden aus ökonomischen Gründen im allgemeinen bevorzugt und sind hier normalerweise angegeben, aber man sollte sich darüber im klaren sein, dass die hier anhand einer Reaktion mit Säuren definierten Ester genauso gut durch die Reaktion von Alkoholen mit den entsprechenden Säurederivaten oder auch durch andere Reaktionen erhalten werden können. Das einzige entscheidende Merkmal ist das Gemisch von Acylgruppen und Alkoholeinheiten in dem endgültigen gebildeten Estergemisch.)
- Vorzugsweise handelt es sich mit steigender Präferenz in der angegebenen Reihenfolge bei wenigstens 85, 90, 95 oder 98% der Hydroxygruppen in dem Alkoholgemisch, das zur Herstellung von Estern gemäß dieser Erfindung umgesetzt wird, um Einheiten von PE- und/oder DPE- Molekülen, und unabhängig davon handelt es sich mit steigender Präferenz in der angegebenen Reihenfolge bei wenigstens 20, 26, 32 oder 38% der Alkoholeinheiten in dem Alkoholgemisch, das zur Herstellung von Estern umgesetzt wird, um Einheiten von DPE-Molekülen. Ebenfalls unabhängig davon bestehen in den Gemischen, die zur Herstellung der Ester umgesetzt werden, mit steigender Präferenz in der angegebenen Reihenfolge wenigstens 60, 75, 85, 90, 95 oder 98% der einbasigen Säuremoleküle in dem Säuregemisch aus Molekülen, die jeweils nicht mehr als zehn Kohlenstoffatome aufweisen, mit steigender Präferenz in der angegebenen Reihenfolge bestehen wenigstens 60, 75, 85, 90, 95 oder 98% der zweibasigen Säuremoleküle in dem Säuregemisch aus Molekülen, die jeweils nicht mehr als zehn Kohlenstoffatome oder besonders bevorzugt jeweils fünf bis sieben Kohlenstoffatome aufweisen. Am meisten bevorzugt bestehen mit steigender Präferenz in der angegebenen Reihenfolge wenigstens 60, 75, 85, 90, 95 oder 98% der einbasigen Säuremoleküle in dem Säuregemisch aus Molekülen, die jeweils entweder fünf oder neun Kohlenstoffatome aufweisen.
- Diese Präferenzen für die Acylgruppen und Alkoholeinheiten in Estern gemäß dieser Erfindung beruhen auf empirisch bestimmten Verallgemeinerungen. Um den gewünschten mittleren Viskositätsbereich zu erreichen, der ungefähr den ISO-Graden 22-46 entspricht, ist es vorteilhaft, dass ein wesentlicher Anteil der Alkohole wenigstens vier Hydroxygruppen aufweist. Von den kommerziell erhältlichen gehinderten Alkoholen, die dieses Kriterium erfüllen, ist PE weniger teuer als DTMP und enthält nicht die Etherbindung wie DTMP, was die Hygroskopie der gebildeten Ester erhöht und dadurch die unerwünschte Korrosion der geschmierten Metalloberflächen fördern kann. Alkohole mit mehr als vier Hydroxygruppen ergeben Ester mit noch höheren Viskositäten, und eine gewisse Menge dieser Ester sind in dem Gemisch notwendig, um den gewünschten Viskositätsbereich zu erreichen, insbesondere wenn im wesentlichen nur einbasige Säuren verwendet werden.
- Um Ester mit einer ausreichenden Viskosität zu erhalten, muss ein beträchtlicher Anteil der umgesetzten Säuremoleküle acht oder mehr Kohlenstoffatome aufweisen oder zweibasig sein. Zweibasige Säuren sind weniger wünschenswert, Wenn überhaupt, müssen sie in recht kleinen Mengen verwendet werden, um eine übermäßige Viskosität zu vermeiden, da sie in der Lage sind, durch Reaktion zwischen Alkohol- und Säuremolekülen, die beide wenigstens zwei funktionelle Gruppen aufweisen, sehr hochmolekulare und sehr viskose Oligomere oder Polymere zu bilden.
- Wenn zur Herstellung der Ester im wesentlichen nur einbasige Säuren verwendet werden, muss ein wesentlicher Anteil der Säuremoleküle, wie bereits angemerkt, wenigstens acht Kohlenstoffatome haben, damit man eine geeignete Viskosität in dem Gemisch erhält. Bei Säuren mit einer solchen Länge ist die Löslichkeit in den Fluorkohlenwasserstoff-Kältemitteln geringer als bei Estern mit kürzeren Säuren, und diese reduzierte Löslichkeit ist bei geradkettigen Säuren besonders ausgeprägt, so dass ein wesentlicher Anteil der längeren Säuren normalerweise verzweigt sein muss; es wurde gefunden, dass diese längeren geradkettigen Säuren alternativ dazu durch einen gleichen oder nicht zu viel kleineren als gleichen Anteil an verzweigten Säuren mit fünf oder sechs Kohlenstoffatomen hinsichtlich der Löslichkeit "ausgeglichen" werden können. Wenn die Zahl der Kohlenstoffatome pro Molekül neun oder mehr beträgt, ist auch die Verzweigung nicht mehr ausreichend, um für sich eine ausreichende Löslichkeit zu ergeben, so dass unabhängig eine Obergrenze für den Anteil solcher Säuren erforderlich ist. Im allgemeinen wird die minimale Menge der besonders vorteilhaften i-C&sub5;-Säure so angegeben, dass die Solubilisierung der Anteile von Estern im Gemisch, die zweibasige Säuren oder solche mit acht oder mehr Kohlenstoffatomen enthalten, unterstützt wird.
- Es wurde gefunden, dass sowohl aus Gründen der Leistungsfähigkeit als auch aus ökonomischen Gründen einbasige Säuren mit fünf und neun Kohlenstoffatomen die am meisten bevorzugten Bestandteile sind, und diese gleichen sich sehr effektiv gegenseitig aus, um ein Gemisch mit Viskositäts- und Löslichkeitseigenschaften zu erreichen, das für die meisten Anwendungen besser geeignet ist als andere. Trimethylhexansäuren ergeben mit ihren drei Methylzweigen die am besten löslichen Ester unter den leicht erhältlichen Säuren mit neun Kohlenstoffatomen. (Im allgemeinen sind Methylzweige wegen der größeren Zahl von Kohlenstoffatomen in anderen Verzweigungsgruppen am effektivsten zur Förderung der Löslichkeit, ohne die Viskosität übermäßig zu erhöhen.) Verzweigungen an dem zu der Carboxygruppe α-ständigen Kohlenstoff erhöhen die Schwierigkeit der Veresterung und scheinen bei der Erhöhung der Löslichkeit nicht effektiver zu sein als weiter entfernte Verzweigungen. Das ökonomischste kommerziell erhältliche Gemisch von verzweigten Säuren mit neun Kohlenstoffatomen, das 88-95 Mol-% 3,5,5-Trimethylhexansäure enthält, wobei der gesamte Rest, außer höchstens 1 Mol-%, aus anderen verzweigten einbasigen C&sub9;-Säuren besteht, scheint wenigstens so effektiv zu sein wie irgendein anderes und wird daher aus ökonomischen Gründen als Quelle für einbasige C&sub9;-Säuren bevorzugt.
- Man sollte sich darüber im klaren sein, dass nur die gewünschten Alkohole und Säuren ausdrücklich angegeben sind, dass aber eine gewisse Menge der Art von Verunreinigungen, wie sie in Produkten mit kommerzieller oder technischer Qualität normalerweise vorhanden sind, in den meisten Fällen toleriert werden kann. Zum Beispiel enthält handelsübliches Pentaerythrit normalerweise nur 85-90 Mol-% reines Pentaerythrit zusammen mit 10-15 Mol-% Dipentaerythrit, und handelsübliches Pentaerythrit ist in vielen Fällen für die Herstellung von Estern als Schmiermittel gemäß dieser Erfindung zufriedenstellend. Im allgemeinen wird jedoch mit steigender Präferenz in der angegebenen Reihenfolge bevorzugt, dass nicht mehr als 25, 21, 17, 12, 8, 5, 3, 2, 1, 0,5 oder 0,2% entweder der Hydroxygruppen in den hier angegebenen Alkoholgemischen oder der Carboxygruppen in den hier angegebenen Säuregemischen Bestandteil von anderen Molekülen sein sollten als denen, die für jeden Typ von Schmiermittelbasis ausdrücklich angegeben sind. Prozentanteile von speziellen chemischen Molekülen oder Struktureinheiten, die hier angegeben sind, wie die im vorigen Satz angegebenen Prozentanteile von Carboxy- und Hydroxygruppen, sind als Zahlenprozente zu verstehen, was mathematisch identisch mit Prozenten in bezug auf chemische Äquivalente ist, wobei eine Avogadro-Zahl jeder angegebenen chemischen Struktureinheit als ein einziges chemisches Äquivalent angesehen wird.
- Die obigen Beschreibungen für jeweils die Säure- und Alkoholgemische, die umgesetzt werden, um Ester als Schmiermittel gemäß dieser Erfin dung herzustellen, bezieht sich nur auf das Gemisch von Säuren oder Alkoholen, das tatsächlich unter Bildung von Estern reagiert, und impliziert nicht notwendigerweise, dass die zum Zwecke der Reaktion miteinander in Kontakt gebrachten Gemische von Säuren oder Alkoholen dieselbe Zusammensetzung haben wie das Gemisch, das tatsächlich reagiert. Tatsächlich wurde gefunden, dass die Reaktion zwischen den verwendeten Alkoholen und Säuren effektiver abläuft, wenn die Menge der anfangs zu dem Reaktionsgemisch zugegebenen Säure ausreichend ist, um einen Überschuss von 10-25% von Säureäquivalenten gegenüber den Äquivalenten des mit der Säure umgesetzten Alkohols zu erhalten. (Ein Säureäquivalent ist für die Zwecke dieser Patentbeschreibung definiert als die Menge, die ein Grammäquivalentgewicht Carboxygruppen enthält, während ein Äquivalent Alkohol die Menge ist, die ein Grammäquivalentgewicht Hydroxygruppen enthält.) Die Zusammensetzung des Säuregemischs, das tatsächlich umgesetzt wird, kann durch Analyse des entstehenden Estergemischs in bezug auf seinen Acylgruppengehalt bestimmt werden.
- Bei der Herstellung der meisten oder aller Ester und Estergemische, die gemäß dieser Erfindung bevorzugt sind, werden die umgesetzten Säuren niedriger sieden als die umgesetzten Alkohole und die entstehenden Ester. Wenn diese Bedingung erfüllt ist, wird vorzugsweise die Hauptmasse der überschüssigen Säure, die am Ende der Veresterungsreaktion noch übrig ist, durch Destillation entfernt, am meisten bevorzugt bei einem niedrigen Druck, wie etwa 133,3-666,6 Pa (1-5 Torr).
- Nach einer solchen Vakuumdestillation ist das Produkt häufig gebrauchsfertig als Schmiermittel oder Schmiermittelbasis gemäß dieser Erfindung. Wenn eine weitere Raffination des Produkts gewünscht wird, kann der Gehalt an freier Säure in dem Produkt nach der ersten Vakuumdestillation durch Behandlung mit Epoxyestern, wie es in US-A-3,485,754 gelehrt wird, oder durch Neutralisation mit einem geeigneten alkalischen Stoff, wie Kalk, Alkalimetallhydroxid oder Alkalimetallcarbonaten, weiter reduziert werden. Wenn die Behandlung mit Epoxyestern verwendet wird, kann überschüssiger Epoxyester durch eine zweite Destillation unter sehr niedrigem Druck entfernt werden, während die Produkte der Reaktion zwischen dem Epoxyester und der restlichen Säure ohne Nachteil in dem Produkt belassen werden können. Wenn die Neutralisation mit Alkali als Raffinationsverfahren verwendet wird, ist ein anschließendes Waschen mit Wasser zum Entfernen von nicht umgesetztem überschüssigem Alkali und der kleinen Menge der aus der überschüssigen Fettsäure, die durch das Alkali neutralisiert wurde, gebildeten Seife stark bevorzugt, bevor man das Produkt als Schmiermittel und/oder Schmiermittelbasis gemäß dieser Erfindung verwendet.
- Unter einigen Verwendungsbedingungen werden die Ester, wie sie hier beschrieben sind, in befriedigender Weise als vollständige Schmiermittel fungieren. Es ist jedoch im allgemeinen vorzuziehen, dass ein vollständiges Schmiermittel noch andere Stoffe enthält, die in der Technik im allgemeinen als Additive bezeichnet werden, wie Oxidationsstabilisatoren und thermische Stabilisatoren, Korrosionsinhibitoren, Metalldesaktivatoren, Schmierzusätze, Viskositätsmodifikatoren, Gieß- und/oder Flockpunkterniedriger, Detergentien, Dispergiermittel, Schaumverhütungsmittel, Antiverschleißmittel und Extremdruckresistenzadditive. Viele Additive sind multifunktionell. Zum Beispiel können bestimmte Additive sowohl Antiverschleiß- als auch Extremdruckresistenzeigenschaften verleihen oder nicht nur als Metalldesaktivator, sondern auch als Korrosionsinhibitor fungieren. Zusammen genommen überschreiten alle Additive vorzugsweise nicht 8 Gew.-%, oder besonders bevorzugt überschreiten sie nicht 5 Gew.-%, der gesamten compoundierten Schmiermittelzubereitung.
- Eine effektive Menge der obigen Additivtypen liegt im allgemeinen im Bereich von 0,01 bis 5% für die Antioxidanskomponente, 0,01 bis 5% für die Korrosionsinhibitorkomponente, 0,001 bis 0,5% für die Metalldesaktivatorkomponente, 0,5 bis 5% für die Schmierzusätze, jeweils 0,01 bis 2% für die Viskositätsmodifikatoren sowie die Gieß- und/oder Flockpunkterniedriger, jeweils 0,1 bis 5% für die Detergentien und Dispergiermittel, 0,001 bis 0,1% für Schaumverhütungsmittel und jeweils 0,1 bis 2% für die Antiverschleißmittel und Extremdruckresistenzkomponenten. Alle diese Prozentangaben sind Gewichtsprozente und beziehen sich auf die Gesamtschmiermittelzusammensetzung. Man sollte sich darüber im klaren sein, dass für besondere Umstände größere oder kleinere als die angegebenen Mengen an Additiven besser geeignet sein können und dass für jeden Typ von Additivkomponente ein einziger Molekültyp oder ein Gemisch von Typen verwendet werden kann. Außerdem sollen die unten aufgeführten Beispiele nur zur Erläuterung dienen und stellen keine Einschränkung des Schutzumfangs dar.
- Beispiele für geeignete Oxidationsstabilisatoren und thermische Stabilisatoren sind Diphenyl-, Dinaphthyl- und Phenylnaphthylamine, wobei die Phenyl- und Naphthylgruppen substituiert sein können, z. B. N,N'-Diphenylphenylendiamin, p-Octyldiphenyfamin, p,p-Dioctyldiphenylamin, N- Phenyl-1-naphthylamin, N-Phenyl-2-naphthylamin, N-(p-Dodecylphenyl)- 2-naphthylamin, Di-1-naphthylamin und Di-2-naphthylamin; Phenothiazine, wie N-Alkylphenothiazine; Imino(bisbenzyl); und gehinderte Phenole, wie 6-(t-Butyl)phenol, 2,6-Di-(t-butyl)phenol, 4-Methyl-2,6-di-(t-butyl)- phenol und 4,4'-Methylenbis(2,6-di-{t-butyl}phenol).
- Beispiele für geeignete Kupfer(I)-Metalldesaktivatoren sind Imidazol, Benzimidazol, 2-Mercaptobenzothiazol, 2,5-Dimercaptothiadiazol, Salicylidinpropylendiamin, Pyrazol, Benzotriazol, Toiutriazol, 2-Methylbenzimida zol, 3,5-Dimethylpyrazol und Methylenbis(benzotriazol). Benzotriazolderivate sind bevorzugt. Weitere Beispiele für allgemeinere Metalldesaktivatoren und/oder Korrosionsinhibitoren sind organische Säuren und ihre Ester, Metallsalze und Anhydride, z. B. N-Oleylsarcosin, Sorbitanmonooleat, Bleinaphthenat, Dodecenylbernsteinsäure und ihre partiellen Ester und Amide sowie 4-Nonylphenoxyessigsäure; primäre, sekundäre und tertiäre aliphatische und cycloaliphatische Amine und Aminsalze organischer und anorganischer Säuren, z. B. öllösliche Alkylammoniumcarboxylate; heterocyclische stickstoffhaltige Verbindungen, z. B. Thiadiazole, substituierte Imidazoline und Oxazoline; Chinoline, Chinone und Anthrachinone; Propylgallat; Bariumdinonylnaphthalinsulfonat; Ester- und Amidderivate von Alkenylbernsteinsäureanhydriden oder -bernsteinsäuren, Dithiocarbamate, Dithiophosphate; Aminsalze von Alkylsäurephosphaten und ihre Derivate.
- Beispiele für geeignete Schmierzusätze sind langkettige Derivate von Fettsäuren und natürlichen Ölen, wie Ester, Amine, Amide, Imidazoline und Borate.
- Beispiele für geeignete Viskositätsindexmodifikatoren sind Polymethacrylate, Copolymere von Vinylpyrrolidon und Methacrylaten, Polybutene und Styrol-Acrylat-Copolymere.
- Beispiele für geeignete Gießpunkt- und/oder Flockpunkterniedriger sind Polymethacrylate, wie Methacrylat-Ethylen-Vinylacetat-Terpolymere; alkylierte Naphthalinderivate; und Produkte der Friedel-Crafts-katalysierten Kondensation von Harnstoff mit Naphthalin oder Phenolen.
- Beispiele für geeignete Detergentien und/oder Dispergiermittel sind Polybutenylbernsteinsäureamide; Polybutenylphosphonsäurederivate; mit langkettigem Alkyl substituierte aromatische Sulfonsäuren und ihre Salze;
- sowie Metallsalze von Alkylsulfiden, von Alkylphenolen und von Kondensationsprodukten von Alkylphenolen und Aldehyden.
- Beispiele für geeignete Schaumverhütungsmittel sind Silikonpolymere und einige Acrylate.
- Beispiele für geeignete Antiverschleißmittel und Extremdruckresistenzmittel sind sulfurisierte Fettsäuren und Fettsäureester, wie sulfurisiertes Octyltallat; sulfurisierte Terpene; sulfurisierte Olefine; Organopolysulfide; Organophosphorderivate einschließlich Aminphosphaten, Alkylsäurephosphate, Dialkylphosphate, Amindithiophosphate, Trialkyl- und Triarylphosphorothionate, Trialkyl- und Triarylphosphine sowie Dialkylphosphite, z. B. Aminsalze von Phosphorsäuremonohexylester, Aminsalze von Dinonylnaphthalinsulfonat, Triphenylphosphat, Trinaphthylphosphat, Diphenylkresyl- und Dikresylphenylphosphat, Naphthyldiphenylphosphat, Triphenylphosphorothionat; Dithiocarbamate, wie ein Antimondialkyldithiocarbamat; chlorierte und/oder fluorierte Kohlenwasserstoffe sowie Xanthate.
- Unter einigen Betriebsbedingungen sind die Typen von Polyetherpolyolen, die wichtige Bestandteile der meisten Schmiermittelbasen des Standes der Technik sind, welche als für Fluorkohlenwasserstoff-Kältemittel geeignet beschrieben wurden, in Schmiermitteln vermutlich weniger als optimal stabil und/oder mit einigen der am besten geeigneten Schmiermitteladditive unzureichend verträglich. In einer Ausführungsform dieser Erfindung sind die Schmiermittelbasen und Schmiermittel also vorzugsweise im wesentlichen frei von solchen Polyetherpolyolen. "Im wesentlichen frei" bedeutet, dass die Zusammensetzungen nicht mehr als 10 Gew.-%, vorzugsweise nicht mehr als 2,6 Gew.-% und besonders bevorzugt nicht mehr als 1,2 Gew.-% der erwähnten Stoffe enthalten.
- Eine Hauptausführungsform der vorliegenden Erfindung ist ein Kältemittel, das sowohl ein geeignetes Wärmeübertragungsmedium, wie einen Fluorkohlenwasserstoff, als auch ein Schmiermittel gemäß dieser Erfindung umfasst. Vorzugsweise sollten das Kältemittel und das Schmiermittel solche chemischen Eigenschaften haben und in einem solchen Verhältnis zueinander vorhanden sein, dass das Kältemittel über den gesamten Bereich von Arbeitstemperaturen, denen das Kältemittel beim Betrieb eines Kühlsystems, in dem das Kältemittel verwendet wird, ausgesetzt ist, homogen bleibt, d. h. frei von sichtbaren Phasentrennungen oder Trübungen. Dieser Arbeitsbereich kann von -60ºC bis zu +175ºC variieren. Es ist häufig ausreichend, wenn das Kältemittel bis zu +30ºC einphasig bleibt, obwohl es immer stärker bevorzugt ist, wenn das einphasige Verhalten bis zu 40, 56, 71, 88 oder 100ºC aufrechterhalten wird. In ähnlicher Weise ist es häufig ausreichend, wenn die Kältemittelzusammensetzung einphasig bleibt, wenn sie auf 0ºC gekühlt wird, obwohl es immer stärker bevorzugt ist, wenn das einphasige Verhalten bis zu -10, -20, -30, -40 oder -55ºC bestehen bleibt. Mit den oben beschriebenen geeigneten und bevorzugten Estertypen erhält man gewöhnlich einphasige Gemische mit chlorfreien Fluorkohlenwasserstoff- Kältemitteln.
- Da es häufig schwierig ist, genau vorauszusagen, wie viel Schmiermittel mit dem Wärmeübertragungsmedium unter Bildung eines Kältemittels gemischt wird, ist es am meisten bevorzugt, wenn die Schmiermittelzusammensetzung über die oben genannten Temperaturbereiche hinweg in jedem Verhältnis mit dem Wärmeübertragungsmedium eine einzige Phase bildet. Dies ist jedoch eine sehr strenge Anforderung, und es ist häufig ausreichend, wenn für ein Kältemittelgemisch, das bis zu 1 Gew.-% Schmiermittel gemäß dieser Erfindung enthält, einphasiges Verhalten über den gesamten Temperaturbereich hinweg vorliegt. Einphasiges Verhalten über einen Temperaturbereich für Gemische, die bis zu 2, 4, 10 und 15 Gew.-% Schmiermittel enthalten, ist immer stärker bevorzugt.
- In manchen Fällen ist einphasiges Verhalten nicht erforderlich. Der Ausdruck "mischbar" wird auf dem Gebiet der Kältemittelschmierung sowie im folgenden, außer wenn er Bestandteil des Ausdrucks "in allen Anteilen mischbar" ist, dann verwendet, wenn zwei Phasen gebildet werden, die sich jedoch leicht zu einer gleichmäßigen Dispersion mischen lassen, die so lange stabil bleibt, wie sie mechanisch wenigstens mäßig gerührt wird. Einige Kältemaschinenverdichter (und andere Verdichter) sind so gestaltet, dass sie mit solchen mischbaren Gemischen von Kältemittel und Schmiermittel in befriedigender Weise arbeiten. Dagegen sind Gemische, die zu einer Koagulation oder erheblichen Verdickung führen und zwei oder mehr Phasen bilden, kommerziell unannehmbar und werden hier als "unmischbar" bezeichnet. Jedes solche Gemisch, das unten beschrieben ist, ist ein Vergleichsbeispiel und keine Ausführungsform der vorliegenden Erfindung.
- Eine weitere wichtige Ausführungsform der Erfindung ist die Verwendung eines Schmiermittels gemäß der Erfindung, entweder als Vollschmiermittel oder als Schmiermittelbasis, in einem Verfahren des Betreibens von Kühlmaschinen in einer solchen Weise, dass sich das Schmiermittel in Kontakt mit dem Kältemittel befindet.
- Die praktische Durchführung der Erfindung kann durch Betrachtung der folgenden Beispiele und Vergleichsbeispiele besser verstanden und eingeschätzt werden.
- Die umzusetzenden Alkohole und Säuren wurden zusammen mit einem geeigneten Katalysator, wie Dibutylzinndiacetat, Zinnoxalat, Phosphorsäure und/oder Tetrabutyltitanat, in einen Rundkolben gegeben, der mit einem Rührer, Thermometer, Stickstoffverteiler, Kühler und Abscheider ausgestattet war. Die Säuren wurden in einem 15%igen molaren Überschuss gegenüber den Alkoholen eingesetzt. Die Menge an Katalysator betrug 0,02 bis 0,1 Gew.-% des Gewichts der gesamten umgesetzten Säuren und Alkohole.
- Das Reaktionsgemisch wurde auf eine Temperatur zwischen 220 und 230ºC erhitzt, und Wasser aus der resultierenden Reaktion wurde im Abscheider aufgefangen, während die zurückfließenden Säuren zum Reaktionsgemisch zurückgeführt wurden. Ein partielles Vakuum wurde über dem Reaktionsgemisch in dem Maße aufrechterhalten, wie es notwendig war, um eine Rückflussrate zwischen 8 und 12% des ursprünglichen Volumens des Reaktionsgemischs pro Stunde zu erreichen.
- Dem Reaktionsgemisch wurden von Zeit zu Zeit Proben entnommen, um die Hydroxylzahl zu bestimmen, und nachdem die Hydroxylzahl unter 5,0 mg KOH pro Gramm Gemisch gefallen war, wurde der größte Teil der überschüssigen Säure durch Destillation entfernt, nachdem das höchste mit der verwendeten Apparatur erhältliche Vakuum, das einem Restdruck von 6,7 Pa (0,05 Torr) entsprach, angelegt worden war, während die Reaktionstemperatur aufrechterhalten wurde. Dann wurde das Reaktionsgemisch abgekühlt, und gegebenenfalls noch vorhandene Acidität wurde, falls gewünscht, durch Behandlung mit Kalk, Natriumhydroxid oder Epoxyestern entfernt. Das resultierende Schmiermittel bzw. die resultierende Schmiermittelbasis wurde getrocknet und filtriert, bevor es bzw. sie einem Phasenkompatibilitätstest unterzogen wurde.
- Ein Milliliter ("ml") des zu testenden Schmiermittels wird in ein wärmeschockresistentes, mit Messskala versehenes Reagenzglas mit einem Durchmesser von 17 Millimeter ("mm") und einer Länge von 145 mm gegeben. Dann wird das Reagenzglas mit einem Stopfen versehen und in ein auf -29 ± 0,2ºC temperiertes Kühlbad gestellt. Nachdem das Glas samt Inhalt 5 Minuten ("min") lang im Kühlbad äquilibriert wurde, wird ausreichend Kältemittel hinzugefügt, so dass man ein Gesamtvolumen von 10 ml erhält.
- Wenigstens 15 min nachdem das Kältemittel hinzugefügt wurde, wobei in dieser Zeit das Glas samt Inhalt im Kühlbad äquilibriert wurde und der Inhalt gegebenenfalls gerührt werden konnte, wird der Inhalt des Reagenzglases visuell auf Anzeichen einer Phasentrennung untersucht. Wenn eine solche Phasentrennung auftritt, wird das Glas geschüttelt, um zu bestimmen, ob die Kombination als mischbar eingestuft werden kann oder völlig unannehmbar ist.
- Wenn es bei -29ºC keine Anzeichen einer Phasentrennung gibt, wird die Temperatur des Kühlbades gewöhnlich mit einer Geschwindigkeit von 0,3º pro min gesenkt, bis man eine Phasentrennung beobachtet. Dann wird die Temperatur der ersten Beobachtung einer Phasentrennung, wenn sie sich innerhalb des Bereichs der verwendeten Kühlgeräte befindet, als Temperatur der einsetzenden Unlöslichkeit notiert.
- Die Zusammensetzung und einige relevante Merkmale für zwei spezielle Beispiele sind in Tabelle 1 gezeigt. Tabelle 1
- Alle Gemische in dieser Tabelle hatten eine Inkompatibilitätstemperatur mit R134a, die unter -57ºC lag.
Claims (9)
1. Kältemittel, im wesentlichen bestehend aus (A) einem im
wesentlichen chlorfreien, fluorgruppenhaltigen organischen
Wärmeübertragungsmedium und (B) einem Schmiermittel mit einer Viskosität
zwischen 0,45 und 1,57 m²/s (45 und 157 Centistokes) bei 40ºC,
das im wesentlichen aus einem Gemisch von Polyolestermolekülen
besteht, wobei (a) wenigstens 95% der Alkoholeinheiten aus der
Gruppe ausgewählt sind, die aus den Alkoholeinheiten besteht, die
von Pentaerythrit (PE) und Dipentaerythrit (DPE) abgeleitet sind
und wenigstens 92% der Acylgruppen aus der Gruppe ausgewählt
sind, die aus den Acylgruppen aller geradkettigen und verzweigten
einbasigen Säuren mit vier bis zwölf Kohlenstoffatomen besteht; (b)
wenigstens 20% der Alkoholeinheiten von DPE abgeleitet sind; (c)
zur Herstellung des Esters nur einbasige Säuren verwendet werden;
(d) wenigstens 98% der einbasigen Säuremoleküle jeweils nicht
mehr als 10 Kohlenstoffatome aufweisen; (e) der Prozentsatz der
verzweigten oder unverzweigten Acylgruppen in dem Gemisch, die
wenigstens neun Kohlenstoffatome enthalten, nicht größer als 49
ist; und (f) insgesamt wenigstens 29% der Acylgruppen in dem
Gemisch Acylgruppen von einer der Trimethylhexansäuren sind.
2. Kältemittel gemäß Anspruch 1, wobei das Schmiermittel (B) eine
Viskosität zwischen 0,45 und 1,57 m²/s (45 und 157 Centistokes)
bei 40ºC hat und im wesentlichen aus einem Gemisch von
Polyolestermolekülen besteht, wobei wenigstens 95% der
Alkoholeinheiten aus der Gruppe ausgewählt sind, die aus den
Alkoholeinheiten besteht, die von PE (Pentaerythrit) und DPE
(Dipentaerythrit) abgeleitet sind, wobei wenigstens 20% der
Alkoholeinheiten von DPE abgeleitete Alkoholeinheiten sind und wenigstens
92% der Acylgruppen aus der Gruppe ausgewählt sind, die aus den
Acylgruppen aller geradkettigen und verzweigten einbasigen und
zweibasigen Säuren mit jeweils vier bis zwölf Kohlenstoffatomen
besteht, wobei die Alkoholeinheiten und die Acylgruppen weiterhin
mit den Einschränkungen ausgewählt sind, dass (a) insgesamt
wenigstens 3% der Acylgruppen in dem Gemisch Acylgruppen einer
i-C&sub5;-Säure sind; (b) das Verhältnis des Prozentsatzes an
Acylgruppen in dem Gemisch, die 8 oder mehr Kohlenstoffatome
enthalten und unverzweigt sind, zu dem Prozentsatz an Acylgruppen in
dem Gemisch, die sowohl verzweigt sind als auch nicht mehr als
sechs Kohlenstoffatome enthalten, nicht größer als 1,56 ist; (c) der
Prozentsatz an verzweigten oder unverzweigten Acylgruppen in dem
Gemisch, die wenigstens neun Kohlenstoffatome enthalten, nicht
größer als 49 ist; (d) nicht mehr als 2% der Acylgruppen in dem
Estergemisch Bestandteil von Säuremolekülen mit jeweils mehr als
zwei Carboxygruppen sind; und es sich bei insgesamt wenigstens
20% der Acylgruppen in dem Gemisch um eine der
Trimethylhexanoyl-Acylgruppen handelt und nicht mehr als 7,5% der
Acylgruppen in dem Estergemisch zweibasig sind.
3. Kältemittel gemäß Anspruch 1 oder 2, wobei die
Stoffzusammensetzung (B) eine Flüssigkeit mit einer Viskosität zwischen 0,45 und
1,10 m²/s (45 und 110 Centistokes) bei 40ºC ist und im
wesentlichen aus einem Gemisch von Polyolestermolekülen besteht, wobei
(a) wenigstens 95% der Alkoholeinheiten aus der Gruppe
ausgewählt sind, die aus den Alkoholeinheiten besteht, die von
Pentaerythrit und Dipentaerythrit abgeleitet sind; (b) wenigstens 20%
der Alkoholeinheiten von DPE abgeleitet sind; (c) zur Herstellung
des Esters nur einbasige Säuren verwendet werden; (d) wenigstens
98% der einbasigen Säuremoleküle jeweils nicht mehr als 10
Kohlenstoffatome aufweisen; (e) der Prozentsatz der verzweigten
oder unverzweigten Acylgruppen in dem Gemisch, die wenigstens
neun Kohlenstoffatome enthalten, nicht größer als 49 ist; und (f)
insgesamt wenigstens 29% der Acylgruppen in dem Gemisch
Acylgruppen von einer der Trimethylhexansäuren sind.
4. Kältemittel gemäß Anspruch 1 oder 2, wobei das Schmiermittel (B)
eine Flüssigkeit mit einer Viskosität zwischen 0,64 und 1,10 m²/s
(64 und 110 Centistokes) bei 40ºC ist und im wesentlichen aus
einem Gemisch von Polyolestermolekülen besteht, wobei (a)
wenigstens 95% der Alkoholeinheiten aus der Gruppe ausgewählt sind,
die aus den Alkoholeinheiten besteht, die von Pentaerythrit und
Dipentaerythrit abgeleitet sind; (b) wenigstens 38% der
Alkoholeinheiten von DPE abgeleitet sind; (c) zur Herstellung des Esters
nur einbasige Säuren verwendet werden; (d) wenigstens 98% der
einbasigen Säuremoleküle jeweils nicht mehr als 10
Kohlenstoffatome aufweisen; (e) der Prozentsatz der verzweigten oder
unverzweigten Acylgruppen in dem Gemisch, die wenigstens neun
Kohlenstoffatome enthalten, nicht größer als 49 ist; und (f) insgesamt
wenigstens 29% der Acylgruppen in dem Gemisch Acylgruppen von
einer der Trimethylhexansäuren sind.
5. Kältemittel gemäß Anspruch 1 oder 2, wobei das Schmiermittel (B)
eine Flüssigkeit mit einer Viskosität zwischen 0,64 und 1,10 m²/s
(64 und 110 Centistokes) bei 40ºC ist und im wesentlichen aus
einem Gemisch von Polyolestermolekülen besteht, wobei (a)
wenigstens 95% der Alkoholeinheiten aus der Gruppe ausgewählt sind,
die aus den Alkoholeinheiten besteht, die von Pentaerythrit und
Dipentaerythrit abgeleitet sind; (b) wenigstens 38% der
Alkoholeinheiten von DPE abgeleitet sind; (c) zur Herstellung des Esters
nur einbasige Säuren verwendet werden; (d) wenigstens 98% der
einbasigen Säuremoleküle jeweils nicht mehr als 10
Kohlenstoffatome aufweisen; (e) der Prozentsatz der verzweigten oder
unverzweigten Acylgruppen in dem Gemisch, die wenigstens neun
Kohlenstoffatome enthalten, nicht größer als 49 ist; und (f) insgesamt
wenigstens 41% der Acylgruppen in dem Gemisch Acylgruppen von
einer der Trimethylhexansäuren sind.
6. Kältemittel gemäß Anspruch 1 oder 2, wobei das Schmiermittel (B)
eine Flüssigkeit mit einer Viskosität zwischen 0,9 und 1,10 m²/s (90
und 110 Centistokes) bei 40ºC ist und im wesentlichen aus einem
Gemisch von Polyolestermolekülen besteht, wobei (a) wenigstens
95% der Alkoholeinheiten aus der Gruppe ausgewählt sind, die aus
den Alkoholeinheiten besteht, die von Pentaerythrit und
Dipentaerythrit abgeleitet sind; (b) wenigstens 38% der Alkoholeinheiten
von DPE abgeleitet sind; (c) zur Herstellung des Esters nur
einbasige Säuren verwendet werden; (d) wenigstens 98% der
einbasigen Säuremoleküle jeweils nicht mehr als 10 Kohlenstoffatome
aufweisen; (e) der Prozentsatz der verzweigten oder unverzweigten
Acylgruppen in dem Gemisch, die wenigstens neun
Kohlenstoffatome enthalten, nicht größer als 49 ist; und (f) insgesamt
wenigstens 41% der Acylgruppen in dem Gemisch Acylgruppen von einer
der Trimethylhexansäuren sind.
7. Kältemittel gemäß einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 6, wobei das
Gleitmittel (B) ein oder mehrere Additive enthält, die aus der Gruppe
ausgewählt sind, die aus Oxidationsstabilisatoren und thermischen
Stabilisatoren, Korrosionsinhibitoren, Metalldesaktivatoren,
Schmierzusätzen, Viskositätsmodifikatoren, Gieß- und Flockpunkterniedrigern,
Antiverschleißmitteln und extremdruckresistenten Additiven
besteht.
8. Kältemittel gemäß einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 7, wobei das im
wesentlichen chlorfreie, fluorgruppenhaltige organische
Wärmeübertragungsmedium ein Übertragungsmedium umfasst, das aus der
Gruppe ausgewählt ist, die aus Pentafluorethan, 1,1-Difluorethan,
1,1,1-Trifluorethan und Tetrafluorethanen besteht.
9. Verfahren zum Betrieb eines Kühlgerätes, das die cyclische
Kompression, Verflüssigung, Expansion und Verdampfung eines
Kältemittels gemäß einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 8 umfasst.
