• GEORG KLINGER in LEIPZIG. Verfahren zum Pressen von Seifenriegeln.• GEORG KLINGER in LEIPZIG. Method of pressing soap bars.
Zusatz zum Patente 204166 vom 14. Mai 1905.Addendum to patent 204166 of May 14, 1905.
Patentiert im Deutschen Reiche vom 9. September 1906 ab. Längste Dauer: 13. Mai 1920.Patented in the German Empire on September 9, 1906. Longest duration: May 13, 1920.
The peculiarity of the process protected by patent 204166 is that that the liquid soap mass immediately after separation of the base liquor from the boiler takes place in the customary air-cooled form, d. H. the liquid soap mass will avoiding a soap container into which the soap is placed before it is pressed out of the boiler is to be pumped or scooped, directly fed to a pump, through which it is in a known manner in a long line is pressed, which is not exposed to artificial cooling. The excretion of the earlier generally common intermediate elements and the artificial cooling is solely decisive for the success of the press work; because, for example, the soap is removed from the before it is pressed Kettle placed in a soap container, so it is disturbed in its rest and in the Bandage as well as impaired in appearance. The same thing happens with an artificial one Cooling of the pipeline or mold is made.
In both cases there will be no flow formation, the soap will be blind and not for sale. While in patent 204166 the method is applied to the pressing of under Soap mass produced artificial heat in a boiler should be according to according to the invention, so-called cold-stirred soaps, for example coconut oil and toilet soaps after stirring to be pressed into bars by the method according to patent 204166 intended effect; achieve. This is also the case with these types of soaps for the success of the pressing work it is essential that the liquid soap mass after mixing their rest is not disturbed, and that they do not have any sudden changes within the mold Is subject to temperature changes. In practice it can be observed with these soaps that, if the transfer into the form takes place at the wrong time or within the If artificial cooling is applied to the mold, cracks appear which impair their marketability and - under certain circumstances, completely exclude. In contrast, the liquid soap mass After stirring, it is passed directly from the stirred tank to the pump or the like and by means of this through an air-cooled one Line pressed, the cracking does not occur even if with the pressing work is started before the soap mass required for the otherwise usual scooping State has reached.
