Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine neue Fabrikation von Metall-Patronenhülsen, deren Anfertigung eine bedeutende Ersparnifs an Zeit, Arbeit und Kosten erzielt. Anstatt zu diesem Zweck Kupfer oder dessen Legirungen ,zu benutzen, wird hier das wohlfeilere Zink, und zwar allein für sich oder mit einer kleinen Quantität eines anderen weifsen Metalls legirt, verwendet.
