Die Erfindung bezweckt die Herstellung eines festen Fettes, genannt »Bakurin«, welches eine aufserordentlich grofse Schmierfähigkeit besitzt, neutral reagirt und erst bei ca. 80 bis 850C. schmilzt. Diese Eigenschaften machen das Bakurin vorzüglich zum Schmieren von Dampfmaschinen, Lokomotiven, Cylindern, Transmissionen und Maschinen jeder Art geeignet, da ein Warmlaufen der Lagerschalen und Cylinder etc. ganz ausgeschlossen ist. Die Schmiermaterialienersparnifs gegenüber den bis jetzt gebräuchlichen Schmierölen beträgt mindestens 60 bis 70 pCt.
