Abstract
1.- Un proceso para la preparación de un compuesto de la fórmula (I)en la cual Hal y Hal' se seleccionan en forma independiente entre Cl y F, y R' se selecciona entre CI, F y H, el cual comprende hacer reaccionar un compuesto de la fórmula (II) con un reactivo Vilsmeieren la cual Hal, Hal' y R1 son tal como se definieron anteriormente. 2.- El proceso de acuerdo con la reivindicación 1, en el cual Hal y Hal' son F. 3.- El proceso de acuerdo con la reivindicación 1, en el cual Hal y Hal' son CI. 4.- El proceso de acuerdo con cualquiera de las reivindicaciones 1 a 3, en el cual R1 es H. 5.- El proceso de acuerdo con cualquiera de las reivindicaciones 1 a 3, en el cual R1 es F. 6.- El proceso de acuerdo con cualquiera de las reivindicaciones 1 a 5, el cual comprende el paso adicional de oxidar el compuesto de la fórmula (I) para proporcionar un ácido carboxílico de la fórmula (VI)en el cual Hal, Hal' y R1 son tal como se definieron en la reivindicación 1, o una sal del mismo. 7.- El proceso de acuerdo con la reivindicación 6, en el cual el oxidante es peróxido de hidrógeno. 8.- El proceso de acuerdo con la reivindicación 6 o 7, en el cual la oxidación se lleva a cabo en presencia de una base. 9.- El proceso de acuerdo con la reivindicación 3, 4 o 6, el cual comprende un paso de intercambio de halógenos para convertir Hal y Hal' de CI en F.
