智能移动应用开发平台
技术领域
本发明涉及软件开发，以及更具体地，涉及生成和/或修改在移动设备上使用的应用的软件开发平台。
背景技术
移动技术正在迅速发展，其推动了能够开发由移动设备提供的新功能和扩展功能的软件的更迅速的发展。因此，已出现全新的开发团体致力于移动设备用户可用的软件工具的扩展池(expandingpool)。移动硬件和软件的大生产商甚至已向公众发布软件开发平台和/或向应用分布服务提供接入以选择开发者，例如通过注册过程来选择开发者。对用户大有裨益地，如今可通过移动通信网络容易地获取以快速下载、安装和使用设计为使用移动设备执行各种活动的大量的移动应用。
当前可用的移动软件应用和开发平台为终端用户和能够利用现有移动设备的各种能力的开发者均提供多样且强大的功能。然而，当前没有来动态开发和使用能够适配用户行为和/或需求的智能移动应用的可用工具。例如，当前移动开发平台和/或移动应用不能基于先前用户活动清楚地确定处理和输出数据的适当的格式以使处理的数据可无缝传递至后续的应用或算法(或者由后续的应用或算法处理)；如用户为输出设置格式并将输出传输至后续应用或处理算法。
由于用户不能使用当前可用的移动软件工具动态开发和/或处理数据，所以为了实施新的或修改的程序或应用，需要付出新的开发劳动。最好的情况是，必须将新的功能编码到现有的应用，或者必须开发整个新的应用以提供期望的功能。最坏的情况是，由于兼容性问题、程序限制等原因，不能实现所期望的“新的”功能。最终的结果是终端用户必须等待新程序或新应用或者修改的程序或修改的应用的开发及部署，这并不是所期望的并且在一些情况下可能是不可接受的。

图像(例如，照片(picture)，图片(figure)，图形表格(graphicalschematics)，电影(movie)、视频、影片(film)、剪辑(clip)中的单帧等)优选地是由相机(尤其是移动设备的相机)采集的数字图像。如本文中所理解的，移动设备是能够接受数据而无需具有经由实体连接(例如，线、绳、线缆等)供给的电力并且能够接受数据而无需实体数据连接(例如，线、绳、线缆等)的任何设备。在本公开范围内的移动设备包括如移动电话、智能电话、平板电脑(tablet)、个人数字助手、设备等示例性设备。
然而，如将通过各种功能的描述而变得显而易见的，当前公开的移动图像处理算法可应用于(有时伴随某种修正)来自扫描仪和MFP(multifunctionperipheral，多功能周边设备)的图像。类似地，在一些方式中，还可使用传统扫描处理算法进一步处理使用当前公开的处理算法处理的图像。
当然，可利用硬件、软件或其任何期望的组合实施本文中所述的各种实施方式。就此而言，可使用能够实现本文中所述的各种功能的任何类型的逻辑。
使用移动设备的一个益处是，使用数据计划(dataplan)，基于采集的图像的图像处理和信息处理可以相较于依赖扫描仪的存在的先前的方法更方便、更流水线、和更整合的方式完成。然而，出于多种原因，将移动设备用作文件采集和/或处理设备迄今为止被认为是难于实现的。
在一个方式中，可通过移动设备的相机采集图像。措辞“相机”应被宽泛地解释为包括能够采集设备外部的物体(如，一张纸)的图像的任何类型的设备。措辞“相机”不包括周边扫描仪或多功能设备。可使用任何类型的相机。优选的实施方式可使用具有较高分辨率(例如，8MP或更多，理想地是12MP或更多)的相机。可以彩色、灰度、黑白、或以任何其它已知的光学效果采集图像。本文中所涉及的措辞“图像”意在包括与相机的输出对应的任何类型的数据，包括原始数据、处理过的数据等。
本说明书呈现为使得任何本领域技术人员均能够制造和使用本发明，以及本说明书以本发明的特定应用及其等同的语境的形式提供。对公开的实施方式的各种修改将对本领域技术人员显而易见，以及在不背离本发明的精神和范围的前提下，本文中限定的一般原则可应用于其它实施方式和应用。因此，本发明不意在限于所示的实施方式，而应符合与本文中公开的原则和特征一致的最宽范围。
具体地，本文中所讨论的本发明的各种实施方式实施为使用互联网作为在多个计算机***之间的通信方式。本领域技术人员将理解，本发明不限于将互联网用作通信介质，以及本发明的可替代的方法可适于使用私人内联网(privateintranet)、LAN(LocalAreaNetwork，局域网)、WAN(WideAreaNetwork，广域网)或其它通信方式。此外，可使用有线、无线(例如，射频)和光学通信链路的各种组合。
可执行本发明的一个实施方式的程序环境说明性地包括一个或多个通用计算机或专用设备(如手持计算机)。这种设备的细节(例如，处理器、储存器、数据存储器、输入和输出设备)众所周知以及出于清晰的目的而被省略。

图1示出了根据一个实施方式的架构100。如图1所示，提供了包括第一远程网络104及第二远程网络106的多个远程网络102。在远程网络102与近邻网络108之间可联接有网关101。在本架构100的环境中，网络104和106可各自采用任何形式，包括但不限于，LAN、WAN(如，互联网)、公共交换电话网络(PSTN)、内部电话网络等。
在使用中，网关101充当自远程网络102至近邻网络108的入口点。因此，网关101可充当能够引导到达网关101的给定数据包的路由器，以及充当为给定包提供在网关101中和网关101外部实际路径的交换机。
还包含联接至近邻网络108并可经由网关101自远程网络102访问的至少一个数据服务器114。应注意，数据服务器114可包含任何类型的计算设备/群组软件。多个用户设备116联接至各个数据服务器114。这种用户设备116可包含台式计算机、笔记本电脑、手持计算机、打印机或任何其它类型的逻辑。应注意，在一个实施方式中，用户设备111也可直接联接至网络中的任意一个。
周边设备120或一系列周边设备120(例如，传真机、打印机、网络连接的和/或本地的存储单元或***等)可联接至网络104、106、108中的一个或多个。应注意，数据库和/或额外部件可连同联接至网络104、106、108的任何类型的网络元件一起利用或集成到该网络元件中。在本说明书的上下文中，网络元件可指代网络的任何部件。
根据一些方式，本文中所描述的方法及***可用虚拟***和/或模仿一个或多个其它***的***(诸如，模仿MACOS环境的UNIX***、虚拟代管MICROSOFTWINDOWS环境的UNIX***、模仿MACOS环境的MICROSOFTWINDOWS***等)实施或在其上实施。在一些实施方式中，可通过使用VMWARE软件来增强该虚拟和/或模仿。

移动应用开发平台
在此公开的发明构思可体现为通过如下文中参照图3讨论的移动应用开发平台开发和/或使用移动应用的***、方法和计算机程序产品。
在一个特定的实施方式中，在图3中示出了这种方法300。方法300可在任何环境中执行，包括图1和图2所描述的环境等。此外，在各种方式中，方法300可包括本文讨论的特征和/或操作的任何可替代的排列和/或额外的组合。

在一些方式中，活动可包括交互活动和非交互活动中的一个或多个，该交互活动可包括需要、接收、或依赖于来自用户的输入的任何活动，如供用户重新查看和/或回复而显示数据、从用户请求数据(如文件名称、元数据(metadata)、处理参数等)、指示程序输入和/或输出、采集图像或视频等如本领域普通技术人员通过阅读本说明书将理解的，该非交互活动包括不需要用户输入的任何活动，如预设图像处理分析管线(pipeline)、文件格式转换、自动数据集验证等如本领域普通技术人员通过阅读本说明书将理解的。

在一些实施方式中，处理方案的流程可以是静态的，即，根据预定的一组准则和/或参数以预定的顺序执行的预定的一组操作。
在额外的实施方式中，处理方案的流程可以是动态的，即，至少部分地基于从用户接收的输入由用户实时地或近实时地定义、配置、调节和/或执行。可以任何期望的方式使用活动和/或规则动态地构造处理方案。例如，动态处理方案的活动和/或规则可由用户定义、可由用户从预定的一组活动和/或规则中选择、全部或部分地基于用户对与数字图像数据和/或其处理有关的一个或多个询问的响应自动地生成、基于执行先前活动的结果和/或规则自动地生成、基于先前接收的用户对与当前数字图像数据和/或其它数字图像数据有关的询问的响应自动地生成等，如本领域普通技术人员通过阅读本说明书将理解的。
在动态程序流的说明性实施中，用户使用移动设备的相机采集文件的数字图像并实例化移动应用开发平台(MADP)。用户经由图形用户界面(GUI)和/或命令行界面将输入提供至MADP。在一个实施方式中用户可通过将控制拖放到表格上或拖放到图形表示的工作流中等与GUI交互。额外地和/或可替代地，用户可设计一个或多个GUI作为开发定制的移动应用的一部分。此外，移动应用开发平台可使用户能够将定制脚本或代码片段有效地整合到移动应用中。在不背离本公开的范围的前提下，用户可采用任何适当的脚本语言。在一些实施方式中，移动开发应用包括对于VisualBasic和JavaScript以及HTML5的支持。
在其它实施方式中，移动应用开发平台可配置为与外部开发环境和/或平台交互以便于利用当前公开的平台和外部开发环境和/或平台两者的功能来开发移动应用。
用户输入定义工作流和/或用户接口以便于处理采集的文件数字图像和/或类似文件。基于该用户输入，MADP生成包括图形用户界面的移动应用，该图形用户界面配置为便于对其它文件数字图像的类似处理。
例如，用户希望开发用于处理驾驶证的数字图像的移动应用。用户实例化MADP并定义工作流，该工作流包括针对根据静态处理方案的驾驶证图像处理的活动和规则。
第一规则指导移动应用根据用户对移动应用的实例化而调用移动设备的本地图像采集功能。本地图像采集功能呈现采集界面并准备集成的移动设备硬件(如闪光灯和相机镜头)以执行采集活动。
第二规则指导移动应用调用检查适当采集条件的图像质量保证活动，包括：使用移动相机检测环境光级别、使用本地移动设备硬件(如集成的陀螺仪和/或加速度计)检测相机稳定性等。
第三规则指导移动应用基于确定存在适当的采集条件来调用采集活动。
第四规则指导移动应用调用图像质量控制活动，该图像质量控制活动使用移动设备处理器和安装在该移动设备上的软件分析采集的图像以确定是否该采集的图像具有足够的质量(例如，被充分地照明、被充分地聚焦等)以用于后续处理。
第五规则指导移动应用基于确定采集的图像具有足够用于处理的质量以及基于确定采集的图像不具有足够用于处理的质量来调用预处理活动，从而显示错误消息并重复根据上述相应规则的图像质量保证、图像采集以及图像质量控制活动。
预处理活动利用安装在移动设备上的软件提示用户处理参数，并基于该处理参数定义处理配置文件。预处理活动显示采集的图像并提示用户指定颁发在采集的图像中所描绘的驾驶证的州以及由该州颁发的驾驶证的特点。
例如，用户可指定马里兰州作为该州，并且定义在马里兰州驾驶证上的各种特征的位置和特点，如驾驶证号码的位置和出生日期的位置以及出生日期和驾驶证号码都是出现在大致白色背景上的红色文本的特点。用户也可指定在马里兰州驾驶证上描绘的持证人照片的位置。用户可指定州名称的位置以及州名称以白色字体出现在大致蓝色背景上的特点。
基于这些特点，用户可定义针对与证件号码和出生日期对应的位置的定制处理参数，以及定义针对与证件照片对应的位置的其它定制处理参数。定制处理参数可改善处理结果，例如通过在二值化(binarize)证件号码和出生日期时淡化红色调、在二值化描述州名称的位置时淡化蓝色调以及将描绘证件照片的位置排除在二值化之外。通过接收定义马里兰驾驶证的特点以及相应处理参数的用户输入，预处理活动将该信息合成到针对马里兰驾驶证的处理配置文件中，该配置文件可随后用于使用安装在移动设备(或能够执行相同图像处理软件服务的其它移动设备)上的图像处理软件服务有效地处理其它马里兰驾驶证。
第六规则指导移动应用调用图像处理活动，将合成的处理配置文件传送到图像处理活动，以及根据经由预处理活动定义的处理配置文件处理数字图像。
第七规则指导移动应用将处理的图像和相关元数据发送至远程服务器以使用与该服务器通信的服务和/或资源进一步处理。在驾驶证的情景中，用户可定义第七规则以将处理的图像和相关元数据发送至征信机构从而使用处理的图像和/或相关元数据执行信用检查服务。在另一个使用情况的情景中，设计者想要设计允许组织机构的雇员提交开支收据的移动应用(App)。为此，设计者定义了包括四个步骤的工作流，这四个步骤是：(1)采集一个或多个收据的至少一个图像；(2)从收据图像中提取行项目(lineitem)；(3)验证提取的数据；以及(4)将图像和提取的数据发送至开支报告***。
在一个方式中，设计者创建用于工作流的步骤1和步骤4的移动形式(mobileform)。设计者可将图像增强配置文件与待在步骤1中使用的采集形式关联。该配置文件包括可在步骤1中使用的各种图像处理指令，如去扭斜(deskew)、去杂点(despeckle)、自动裁剪(auto-crop)、二值化等本领域技术人员通过阅读本说明书将理解的有利于各种收据提交应用的。该形式部分地由平台生成并且设计者优选地仅需添加/移除控制和/或将动作与期望的控制关联。设计者可例如在形式底部设置两个按钮，标为“重拍”和“使用”。设计者将“移动采集”动作与“重拍”按钮关联而将“完成活动/进行下一步”动作与“使用”按钮关联。可类似地完成为步骤3设计相应的形式。
用户在移动设备上安装组织机构的“业务应用(businessapp)”。该“业务应用”是移动开发平台的一部分并且包括设计者所使用的本地设备服务。用户启动该App并进入认证界面。基于认证，第一页面被显示并包括选项菜单，如“提交收据”。这列菜单项目可包括用户被授权使用的任何选项。可使用组织机构的服务器配置和/或管理用户认证。用户选择“提交收据”，其启动了由设计者创建的开支程序。
向用户显示的下一个页面是设计者创建的形式，该形式使用设备上的服务以操作设备相机、显示取景器和由设计者添加的按钮。通过与该页面交互，用户为收据拍摄照片并选择“使用”按钮。由设计者配置的动作被触发并使用设备上的服务来处理(例如，去扭斜、去杂点、裁剪、二值化等)图像以及将图像上传至服务器。处理活动完成并且App尝试进行下一处理活动。
根据一个方式，服务器接下来使用上传的图像执行提取行项目活动。可以任何适当的方式提取行项目，以及在一些实施方式中行项目可利用如在以上引用的相关专利文件中讨论的移动分类和/或移动提取功能。
App进行下一个活动并向用户显示数据验证页面。用户进行任何需要的修正并选择“完成”按钮。响应于检测到该用户选择，活动完成(例如，在移动设备上)并且在服务器上执行“将图像和数据发送至开支报告***”的活动。
提供前述说明性实施例以证明在本公开的范围内用户可定义和/或使用移动应用的任何方式中的一些，并且不应将前述说明性实施例认作对本权利要求的限制。
本领域普通技术人员将理解，移动应用开发平台使得用户能够以任何期望的方式定义活动和规则以生成期望的工作流。该活动和规则可利用来自移动设备的任何功能，无论是经由操作***、可选择安装的软件授予的功能、还是经由整合的硬件部件授予的功能。该活动和规则也可使用不来自移动设备的、而是移动设备能够访问的任何功能，例如经由与服务器、网络、蜂窝数据服务等(如本领域普通技术人员通过阅读本说明书将理解的)通信来访问的任何功能。

在各种方式中，在本公开范围内的移动应用可执行或使用来自移动设备的功能，如来自移动设备操作***的任何功能、移动设备的一个或多个硬件部件所赋予的任何功能等，如本领域普通技术人员通过阅读本说明书将理解的。此外，在本公开范围内的移动应用可执行或使用移动设备被配置来执行或使用的任何功能。例如，当前公开的实施方式可配置为与安装在移动设备上的任何硬件和/或软件功能(如图像处理应用或服务、数据管理应用或服务)进行接合交互。

在一个尤其优选的多种实施方式中，当前公开的发明构思可实施为定义一个或多个动态工作流，例如，作为移动应用。动态工作流优选地配置为便于与第三方服务(例如，金融服务)的用户交互。如以下进一步具体描述的，该第三方服务可包括也经由具体配置的移动应用而变得方便的多个组成服务。
可使用经由智能开发平台提供的一个或多个接口定义动态工作流。优选地，开发平台便于设计和实施定义动态工作流和任何相关规则、活动等的多个表格。用户可利用开发平台设计一系列利用动态工作流的活动、规则等的交互表格以向终端用户提供有用的功能应用。

可例如以利用认证表格、采集表格、重新查看表格和提交/确认提示的用户开发的动态工作流的方式实现以上所述的示例性方式。
在一个方式中，认证表格可以是在启动该移动应用、切换注意力至该移动应用、或以其它方式调用该移动应用之后向用户显示的“标题”页面或第一界面。认证表格可配置为包括一个或多个按钮、栏位、开关等。
按钮可包括：
例如：“登陆”按钮，用户可与该“登陆”按钮交互以提供与已有账户(account)或账户(accounts)相关的认证信息；

当然，在其它的实现中，其它的提高可能是有益的或期望的。继续讨论成像文件的示例性情况，其它有用的提高可包括以下功能，如：修改页面方向；检测非均匀的照度；平衡非均匀的照度；修改文件尺寸(即，边缘位置、长度)以针对透视偏斜(perspectiveskew)或“鱼缸(fishbowl)”效果而调节；修改与检测页面边缘、最佳采集条件(例如，最大的设备方向角度、最小的稳定持续时间等)相关的参数。这些有益的提高中的任意提高可经由重新查看界面手动地调用，和/或可响应于采集适当的数据而指定为自动执行。

继续用户希望参与一个或多个金融服务的示例性情景，与如本文描述的移动应用的用户交互可通过典型地需要用户实际出现在服务地点的任何方式、场景、或者资格来远程地执行任何动作和/或接洽服务供应商。
例如，在一些方式中，用户可加入金融移动应用以获得和/或执行银行服务，如：存款；取款；和/或向用户所拥有或控制的一个或多个账户转移资金和/或从用户所拥有或控制的一个或多个账户转移资金；从在用户控制下的账户进行支付；将一个或多个用户控制的账户关联到一个或多个外部服务、交易等(例如，将银行账户关联到电子支付服务，如电子账单支付服务、消费者支付服务(如PayPal)等)，如本领域普通技术人员通过阅读本说明书将理解的。
