技术领域
本技术大致针对处理排放物的***和方法。更具体地,一些实施例针对从煤炭加工***收集热颗粒的***和方法。
背景技术
袋室或者织物过滤器是去除商业过程释放的空气或者气体中的颗粒的空气污染控制设备。袋室可包括织物过滤袋,其是椭圆形的或者圆形的管,典型地长度为15-30英尺,直径为5-12英寸。袋可以是由编织或者粘结材料制成,并且可以具有不同程度的过滤能力。袋子被用作满足日益严格的空气污染控制要求的途径。但是,由于织物过滤器着火的的潜在性,产生空气传播的火花以及热灰尘和颗粒的工业应用不能单独使用袋室或者织物过滤材料。更具体地,过滤袋可能是可燃的,并且如果颗粒碰到了袋表面,袋将开始慢燃,最终燃烧起来。进一步,可燃材料甚至可能破坏诸如玻璃纤维袋等不可燃的袋。
火花捕捉器是描述意在防止比如火花或者热颗粒等可燃材料逃逸到比如袋室等可能导致着火或者火灾的区域的设备的学名术语。取决于气体流动量和颗粒的大小,火花捕捉设备已被用于排放物控制过程中,但效果有限。许多传统的火花捕捉设备没有充分阻止热颗粒进入袋室。导致袋燃烧,以致产量降低和昂贵的维修。因此,存在改进排放物处理***的需求。

本技术描述了处理排放物的***和方法的多个实施例。更具体地,一些实施例指向用于从矿物加工(例如,煤炭加工)***中收集热颗粒的***和方法。在一个实施例中,处理煤炭加工***的排放物的方法包括将排放物引入到管道中。排放物包括热颗粒。方法进一步包括不使用物理屏障,减慢排放物在管道中的传输速度并且将热颗粒从排放物中分离出来。在一些实施例中,热颗粒被减速,冷却,并且从排放物路径中被转移到收集箱。在几个实施例中,本技术可用于污染控制。更具体地,本技术可用于废气的处理,从气体或者蒸气中分离颗粒,以及/或者摄取或者吸收灰尘。

如上面讨论的,惯性分离器110在外壳110的其他部分可具有相同的或者不同的横截面尺寸。例如,在所示实施例中,惯性分离器110可具有比惯性分离器110的管道上游和下游更大的横截面。上游直径由入口304的直径表示,下游直径由出口306的直径表示。通过具有惯性分离器110,其具有比管道的上游部分更大的横截面,排放物速度被减慢,提供更多的冷却时间,以及会由于升力而移出箱的颗粒的数量将减少。

25.根据示例23所述的方法,进一步包括冲击板、旋风生成器、静电除尘器、或者沉降室,被配置为与所述管道中运行的所述排放物接口。
26.根据示例23所述的方法,其中所述外壳没有物理屏障火花捕捉器。
本技术提供了几个优于传统***的优点。例如,通过防止没有足够冷却的热颗粒进入袋室,惯性分离可减少下游袋室火灾的发生。本技术冷却排放物,并且在热颗粒到达袋室之前拦截热颗粒。进一步,冷却空气入口和相关的传感器/反馈***是主动的,以必要地冷却外壳,而不是对潜在的有问题的高温情形作出反应。在几个实施例中,本***要求没有物理屏障或筛式火花捕捉器,其可能经常阻塞,并且引起高的压力差,以使材料从筛中穿过并被推送到袋室中。

Claims (7)

1.一种处理装煤排放物的***,包括:
自装煤口产生所述装煤排放物的焦炉,所述装煤排放物包括热颗粒;
外壳,包括与所述焦炉的内部连通的入口,出口,以及沿着蛇形路径从所述入口延伸到所述出口的细长的管道;
袋室,与所述外壳的所述出口耦合且配置为接收至少一部分所述装煤排放物;
惯性分离器,安置在所述外壳内并且配置为与所述装煤排放物相接口;所述惯性分离器包括自入口延伸的流体路径,其具有第一横截面直径以及出口并且至少一个安置于所述流体路径内的冲击板,借此所述装煤排放物沿着围绕所述至少一个冲击板的迂回路径被引导,且所述热颗粒与所述至少一个冲击板碰击并且自所述装煤排放物迫出,所述装煤排放物自所述出口离开;以及;
收集箱,具有大于所述第一横截面直径的第二横截面直径,其配置为为运行穿过所述惯性分离器的所述热颗粒减速并收集所述热颗粒。
2.根据权利要求1所述的***,其中所述惯性分离器包括静电除尘器。
3.根据权利要求1所述的***,进一步包括配置成根据所述装煤排放物的温度读数自动冷却所述装煤排放物的冷却***。
4.根据权利要求1所述的***,其中第一冲击板安置于所述惯性分离器的第一侧以在所述流体路径内延伸;且第二冲击板安置于所述流体路径内的所述惯性分离器的与所述第一侧相对的第二侧,借此所述装煤排放物在离开所述出口前沿围绕所述第一冲击板和所述第二冲击板的迂回路径被引导。
5.根据权利要求1所述的***,进一步包括耦合到所述管道上,以及配置为注入冷却空气,冷却气体,或者冷却液体中的至少一种到所述管道的注入器。
6.根据权利要求1所述的***,其中所述外壳没有筛式火花捕捉器。
7.根据权利要求1所述的***,其中所述装煤排放物包括可燃的颗粒。
