当条件允许时(如当车辆停止或正在滑行时),停/启技术通过关闭汽油发动机自动地节省能源。该特征改善了燃料经济性和降低了排放。对于在红绿灯下长时间等待或频繁刹车的车辆,这是最有利的。

发明内容

图1示出具有采用停/启技术的发动机20和变速器30的车辆动力***10。发动机控制器22被连接到发动机20和停/启控制器21(通常发动机20的一部分),且可操作成控制发动机的操作(包括其加速)。发动机控制器22接收来自司机操作台40(该司机操作台40尤其是包括转向柱)、油门踏板传感器41和制动踏板传感器42的输入。
通过变速器切换机构31实现低速模式的选择,该变速器切换机构31控制变速器30且向发动机控制器22传送模式选择。也可以包括在下文更加详细讨论的换档锁32。当选定低速模式时,发动机控制器22将连通停/启控制器21,以禁用停/启功能。当启用低速模式时,发动机控制器22将监控车辆的速度,然后确定司机是否超过了阈值速度或阈值加速度。如上文指出,阈值速度大约为6mph(10km/h)。然而,应当理解,如果制造商需要,则阈值可以更低或更高。在违背阈值时,在导航***50、音频***51和/或司机通知***52上可以播放可听铃声和/或显示消息。在另一个实施方式中,多种强度渐增的警报器或指示器可以用来告知操作者在低速模式中继续操作是不合适的。
发动机控制器22可选择地被连接到导航***50,使得当选择低速模式时,发动机控制器22可选择地完全禁用导航***50(或限制向导航模式50输入)。如上文指出,当车辆在预设的时段内已经达到或超过速度阈值或加速度阈值时,发动机控制器22也可以调整油门踏板传感器41的吞吐量。从而,将不会防止司机继续加速或操作车辆,而是将收到以降低的可用功率或扭矩的形式的一定程度的反馈。
图2A至图2G示出用于图1的动力***的切换机构31的示例性布置,该动力***具有多个沿路径布置的止动器,每一个止动器对应变速器30的一个操作模式。图2A示出具有沿着切换机构31的模式路径定位于“D”(“前进档”)后的低速模式“LS”位置的切换机构31,该切换机构31也包括以常规方式布置的“P”(“停车档”)、“R”(“倒车档”)和“N”(“空档”)。图2B所示的切换机构31B将“LS”位置定位于“D”(“前进档”)前。
图2C所示的切换机构31C将“LS”位置定位作为“D”(“前进档”)的子模式,使得该模式是可选择的而无需停用变速器的换档锁32。通常,必须通过向下压住制动踏板传感器42停用换档锁32(如,当将车辆从“P”(“停车档”)换档到任何模式时)。图2D所示的切换机构31D将“LS”位置定位为如图2C所示的“D”(“前进档”)的子模式,但增加了本领域中已知的手动档选择子模式“M”。当在手动子模式“M”时,司机通过向上/向下移动切换机构可以升档(+)或降档(-)。
图2E同样具有手动档选择子模式“M”,其中通过降档至低于一档,“LS”是可选择的。当变速器已经处于D”(“前进档”)时,图2F允许通过按钮33(或其他致动部件,即,开关)启动低速模式。图2G示出全手动档选择方案(使用全手动变速器或者电子双离合器),其中从第一档“1”止动器可选择“LS”。
图3为示出如上文详细说明的司机可选择的低速模式的示例性操作的流程图。首先,在步骤61中,发动机控制器22识别司机选择的低速模式。然后,在步骤62中,发动机控制器22通过停/启控制器21禁用停/启功能。可选择地,在步骤63中,发动机控制器22禁用导航***50的功能。
步骤64包括用于监控司机是否禁用低速模式的步骤。如果司机已经禁用了低速模式,则发动机控制器22(在步骤69)通过停/启控制器21重新启用停/启功能,将车辆返回至标准D”(“前进档”)。否则,在步骤65中,发动机控制器22检查以观看司机是否已经达到或超过速度阈值或加速度阈值。如果司机没有达到或超过速度阈值或加速度阈值,该方法返回至步骤64。如果司机已经超过速度阈值,在步骤66显示可听的铃声和/或可视提示,发动机控制器22可选择地开始计算预设时间,同时返回至步骤64以检查司机是否禁用了低速模式。可以理解,每当连续事件结束时,可听的铃声或可视提示被重放。每当他们被重复时,铃声的音量或提示的可视性可大幅增加。
如果发动机控制器22可选择地正在计算预设时间,一旦超过预设时间(即,司机已经忘记禁用低速模式达1分钟至2分钟),则低速模式就被自动地禁用(步骤68和步骤69)。此外,可以实现加速度调节(步骤67)。还应该注意,低速模式仅可以临时禁用直到车辆速度再一次下降到速度阈值之下。在该时刻,方法可返回至步骤64,然后对司机继续监控低速模式的禁用。
Claims (20)
1.一种车辆动力***,包括:
具有停/启技术的内燃机,其中,包括所述车辆动力***的车辆正在移动时,所述停/启技术可使所述内燃机自动地关闭和重新启动;
发动机控制器,用于操作所述内燃机;
变速器,所述变速器连接到所述内燃机;和
切换机构,所述切换机构被连接到所述变速器和所述发动机控制器,所述切换机构可操作成将所述变速器置于多个操作模式中的一个模式,所述操作模式至少包括低速模式,其中所述停/启技术被禁用,使得所述内燃机不被自动地关闭。
2.根据权利要求1所述的车辆动力***,其中,在接收到选择所述低速模式的指示时,所述发动机控制器可操作成执行速度阈值或加速度阈值。
3.根据权利要求1所述的车辆动力***,其中,所述切换机构具有多个沿路径布置的止动器,每一个止动器分别对应于一个操作模式。
4.根据权利要求3所述的车辆动力***,其中,所述操作模式还至少包括停车、倒车、空档和前进档。
5.根据权利要求4所述的车辆动力***,其中,所述低速模式在前进档之前且在空档之后是可选择的。
6.根据权利要求4所述的车辆动力***,其中,所述低速模式在前进档之后是可选择的。
7.根据权利要求4所述的车辆动力***,其中,所述低速模式是前进档的子模式,使得所述低速模式是可选择的而无需停用所述变速器的换档锁。
8.根据权利要求4所述的车辆动力***,其中,所述操作模式还包括前进档的手动档选择子模式,所述手动档选择子模式是可选择的而无需停用所述变速器的换档锁。
9.根据权利要求8所述的车辆动力***,其中,通过从前进档的手动档选择子模式中的可用的第一档降档,所述低速模式是可选择的。
10.根据权利要求4所述的车辆动力***,其中,当前进档模式被选定时,通过致动按钮或开关,所述低速模式是可选择的。
11.根据权利要求1所述的车辆动力***,其中,在接收到选择所述低速模式的指示时,所述发动机控制器还可操作成禁用被连接到所述车辆动力***的导航***。
12.根据权利要求2所述的车辆动力***,其中,如果超过所述阈值速度,则所述发动机控制器还可操作成促使播放可听铃声或可听消息或显示可视提示。
13.根据权利要求12所述的车辆动力***,其中,所述发动机控制器还可操作成向司机重复播放可听铃声或可听消息或显示可视提示,直到所述低速模式被取消选定。
14.根据权利要求13所述的车辆动力***,其中,当检测到持续的加速尝试时,所述发动机控制器还可操作成促使播放可听铃声或可听消息。
15.一种用于具有发动机停/启功能的车辆的低速操作方法,所述低速操作方法包括:
禁用发动机停/启功能使得所述车辆可以***作而无需使车辆的发动机停止,直到收到重新启用停/启功能的司机指令,其中,所述车辆正在移动时,发动机停/启功能可使所述车辆的发动机自动地关闭和重新启动。
16.根据权利要求15所述的方法,其中,所述司机指令包括从多个操作模式中选择前进档模式,所述多个操作模式还包括对应于所述低速操作方法的模式。
17.根据权利要求15所述的方法,还包括当发动机停/启功能被禁用时,监控所述车辆的速度以确定所述车辆速度是否超过阈值。
18.根据权利要求17所述的方法,还包括如果超过所述阈值速度,则向司机播放可听铃声或可听消息或显示可视提示。
19.根据权利要求18所述的方法,还包括向司机重复播放可听铃声或可听消息或显示可视提示,直到收到重新启用停/启功能的司机指令。
20.根据权利要求17所述的方法,还包括,如果车辆速度超过阈值达预设的时间,且如果没有收到重新启用停/启功能的所述司机指令,则重新启用发动机停/启功能。
