Abstract

resistência a múltiplos vírus em plantas a presente invenção refere-se a genes-alvo, construtos e métodos para o controle genético de doenças de plantas 5 causadas por múltiplos vírus de plantas. a presente invenção refere-se à obtenção de um efeito protetor da planta mediante a identificação de sequências codificadas alvo e uso de tecnologias de dna recombinante para repressão ou inibição pós-transcricional da expressão de sequências codificadoras alvo de vírus parasitas de plantas. também se podem utilizar abordagens baseadas na expressão de proteínas para aumentar a resistência do fenótipo. assim, a transcrição de um único evento transgênico compreendendo um ou mais cassetes de expressão em plantas pode permitir uma resistência de amplo espectro de uma planta a múltiplas cepas e espécies virais dentre os geminivírus, tospovírus e potexvírus.
