Abstract
um processo é descrito para aumentar o teor de hidrogênio de uma mistura de gás de síntese que compreende hidrogênio, óxidos de carbono e vapor, compreendendo as etapas de: passar a mistura de gás de síntese em uma temperatura de entrada na faixa 170 a 500oc sobre um catalisador de deslocamento água-gás para formar uma mistura de gás deslocada enriquecida por hidrogênio, em que o catalisador de deslocamento água-gás está na forma de uma pelota cilíndrica tendo um comprimento c e diâmetro d, em que a superfície da pelota cilíndrica tem duas ou mais caneluras dispostas ao longo de seu comprimento, dito cilindro tendo nenhum furo transpassam-te e extremidades côncavas de comprimentos a e b de modo que (a+b+c)/d esteja na faixa 0,25 a 1,25, e (a+b)/c esteja na faixa 0,03 a 0,30.
