Abstract
resumo patente de invenção: "método e sistema para planejamento 3d de tratamento de canal radicular". a presente invenção refere-se a um modelo de computador tridimensional do dente do paciente, incluindo a câmara pulpar e os canais radiculares, é criado pela combinação de pelo menos uma imagem 2d de valor de cinza do referido dente e/ou a informação de superfície sobre pelo menos parte da porção visível intraoralmente do dente com um modelo estatístico, de forma parametrizada, de cada tipo de dente (incisivos superiores ou inferiores, caninos, pré-molares, molares), conforme o dente do paciente a ser tratado. isto permite o planejamento e/ou a simulação de um ou mais tratamentos de canais radiculares com o modelo de computador 3d do dente do paciente e que ao dentista ou especialista dental é dada informação qualitativa e/ou quantitativa pelo sistema a fim de auxiliar na análise, adequadamente, dos riscos relacionados com a realização do tratamento de canal radicular com as ferramentas endodônticas propostas ou selecionadas pelo usuário.
