Abstract

"EIXO DE VIGA TORCIDA PARA A SUSPENSãO TRASEIRA DE VEìCULO AUTOMOTOR E MéTODO DE SUA PRODUçãO". O eixo de viga torcida (10) compreende um membro cruzado central (11) flexível à torção e um par de braços de direcionamento (12) fixados a partes posteriores laterais (11a) do membro cruzado (11) para conexão articulada do eixo à carroceria do veículo e para suporte das rodas traseiras. Cada braço de direcionamento (12) é formado por um par de primeiras meias conchas transversalmente internas (18) e (19), ou seja, uma meia concha frontal e uma meia concha traseira, respectivamente, conectadas firmemente entre si e à extremidade correspondente (11a) do membro cruzado (11) e por uma segunda meia concha transversalmente externa (20), conectada firmemente ao par de primeiras meias conchas (18) e (19), de maneira a formar com elas uma estrutura que possui seção cruzada fechada.
