A SUSPENSION IS PROVIDED WITH A PAIR OF LEFT AND RIGHT TRAILING ARMS (1, 1) AND A TORSION BEAM (4). EACH OF THE PAIR OF LEFT AND RIGHT TRAILING ARMS (1, 1) HAS A FRONT END PORTION (2) PIVOTALLY SUPPORTED BY A BODY OF A VEHICLE AND A REAR END PORTION (3) FOR ROTATABLY SUPPORTING A WHEEL. THE TORSION BEAM (4) IS DISPOSED SUBSTANTIALLY IN A TRANSVERSE DIRECTION OF THE VEHICLE, AND HAS BOTH ENDS JOINED RESPECTIVELY TO THE PAIR OF TRAILING ARMS (1, 1), AND IS FORMED INTOASUBSTANTIALLYLJ-SHAPED CROSS-SECTIONAL SHAPE BY DRAWING. THE DRAWING DEPTH BASED OR’ THE DRAWING OF THE TORSION BEAM C4) INCREASES TOWARD OUTER SIDES IN THE TRANSVERSE DIRECTION OF THE VEHICLE. A MAXIMUM PORTION (44) WHERE AN INCREASE OF DRAWING DEPTH BECOMES MAXIMUM IS SET TO BE SPACED APART FROM EACH OF THE ENDS TOWARD AN INNER SIDE IN THE TRANSVERSE DIRECTION OF THE VEHICLE.
