この構成の場合、前記拘束機構は、前記第1ブランクホルダのスライドを前記ストッパーで制限しつつ前記クッションピンと前記第1ブランクホルダとを分離させることにより、前記第1ブランクホルダのスライドを拘束し、この第1ブランクホルダの拘束に伴って前記先行部のスライドを拘束する。
加圧機構は、前記第1ブランクホルダをプレス方向にスライド可能に支持する。
この構成の場合、前記拘束機構は、前記第1ブランクホルダのスライドを制限することによって前記第1ブランクホルダを拘束し、この第1ブランクホルダの拘束に伴って前記先行部のスライドを拘束する。
前記プレス成形品の製造方法は、上記のプレス成形装置を用い、保持工程と、成形工程と、を含む。
保持工程では、前記先行部の前記第1案内面が前記ダイの前記第2案内面よりも先行した状態で、前記第1ブランクホルダ、前記第2ブランクホルダ及び前記パッドによって前記金属板を挟み込む。
成形工程では、前記パンチと前記ダイとをプレス方向に相対的に移動させることにより、前記パンチを前記ダイに押し込んで前記金属板を前記プレス成形品に成形する。
前記成形工程は、第1ステップと、第2ステップと、を含む。
第1ステップでは、前記先行部の前記第1案内面が前記ダイの前記第2案内面よりも先行した状態で、前記ダイへの前記パンチの押し込みを行い、前記第1縦壁部及び前記第1フランジ部を成形する。
第2ステップでは、前記拘束機構によって前記パンチに対する前記第1ブランクホルダ及び前記先行部のスライドが拘束され、この拘束状態で前記ダイへの前記パンチの押し込みを継続し、前記第2縦壁部及び第2フランジ部を成形する。
前記プレス成形品は、
L字状の湾曲領域を含む天板部と、
前記天板部の両側部のうちの湾曲内側の側部に繋がる第1縦壁部と、
前記天板部の両側部のうちの湾曲外側の側部に繋がる第2縦壁部と、

図5は、本発明の第1実施形態のプレス成形装置を模式的に示す断面図である。第1実施形態のプレス成形装置20は、前記図3に示す特定プレス成形品10を製造するための絞り成形に用いられる。なお、図5に示す断面は、前記図3(a)のB-B断面に対応する。後述する第2及び第3実施形態でも同様とする。
図7(a)~(e)は、本発明の第2実施形態のプレス成形装置によるプレス成形(絞り成形)の加工工程を模式的に示す断面図である。これらの各図は、前記図6(a)~(e)の各図と同様の状況を示す。
図8は、本発明の第3実施形態のプレス成形装置における上型を模式的に示す断面図である。第3実施形態のプレス成形装置20は、第1及び第2実施形態のプレス成形装置20と比較し、上型40を変形した点で相違する。第3実施形態では、第1ダイ52が第1ダイ本体52aと先行部54とから構成される。第3実施形態の先行部54は、第1案内面50cに関しては幅方向の全域を構成し、第1内側側面50aに関しては第1案内面50c近傍の一部を構成する。第1ダイ本体52aは、先行部54から除かれた第1内側側面50aの残部を構成する。第1ダイ本体52aは、ダイプレート51に固定される。先行部54は、第1ダイ本体52aに固定された先行部用加圧機構55を介して支持される。

図11(a)~(g)は、本発明の第4実施形態のプレス成形による加工工程を模式的に示す断面図である。第4実施形態では、プレス成形による加工工程が2つのステージに分かれる。第4実施形態のプレス成形によって最終的に得られるプレス成形品は、第1~第3実施形態のプレス成形によって得られるプレス成形品と同じであるが、第1ステージ及び第2ステージを順に経て完成品に成形される。すなわち、ステージごとに別個のプレス成形装置が用いられ、第1ステージでは素材金属板から中間品が成形され、第2ステージではその中間品が完成品に仕上げられる。中間品は、天板部、この天板部の湾曲内側の第1縦壁部、及びこの第1縦壁部に繋がる第1フランジ部が完全に成形されたものであるが、天板部の湾曲外側の第2縦壁部、及びこの第2縦壁部に繋がる第2フランジ部が途中まで成形されたものである。
実施例1のFEM解析では、上記第1実施形態のプレス成形装置を用い、素材金属板を特定プレス成形品に成形した。得られたプレス成形品について、各部の板厚減少率、割れ及びしわを評価した。
実施例2のFEM解析では、実施例1と同様のプレス成形装置及び素材金属板を用い、先行部の先行量m、すなわち先行部と第2ダイとのストローク差を種々変更して、特定プレス成形品に成形した。得られたプレス成形品について、各部の板厚減少率、割れ及びしわを評価した。なお、実施例2のプレス成形品における第1縦壁部の深さd1及び第2縦壁部の深さd2は、実施例1のプレス成形品のそれらよりも深くした。すなわち、実施例2のプレス成形品では、第1縦壁部の深さd1は55mmとし、第2縦壁部の深さd2は60mmとした。

L字状の湾曲領域を含む天板部と、
前記天板部の両側部のうちの湾曲内側の側部に繋がる第1縦壁部と、
前記天板部の両側部のうちの湾曲外側の側部に繋がる第2縦壁部と、
前記第1縦壁部に繋がる第1フランジ部と、
前記第2縦壁部に繋がる第2フランジ部と、を備え、
前記プレス成形装置は、
前記天板部、前記第1縦壁部及び前記第2縦壁部にそれぞれ対応する形状の先端面、第1外側側面及び第2外側側面を有するパンチと、
