Abstract
Description
本発明の第2の態様は、第1の態様による蓄電装置において、電圧検出線は、所定の形状に形成された状態で側板と一体化されるとともに、複数の蓄電セルと電気的に接続する電圧検出導体部と、電圧検出導体部と制御装置とを電気的に接続するための電圧検出リード線部とを備えることが好ましい。
本発明の第3の態様は、第1または第2の態様による蓄電装置において、電圧検出線には、複数の蓄電セルからの電流を遮断する電流遮断装置が設けられていてもよい。
本発明の第4の態様は、第3の態様による蓄電装置において、電流遮断装置は側板に配置されていることが好ましい。
本発明の第5の態様は、第3または第4の態様による蓄電装置において、電圧検出リード線部に取り付けられた電圧検出リード線コネクタ部と、電圧検出導体部の複数の蓄電セルと接続されていない端部とを接続するための電圧検出導体コネクタ部をさらに備え、電圧検出導体コネクタ部は側板に配置されていることが好ましい。
本発明の第6の態様は、第5の態様による蓄電装置において、電流遮断装置と電圧検出導体コネクタ部とが一体に形成されていてもよい。
本発明の第7の態様は、第3から第6の態様による蓄電装置において、電流遮断装置の電流遮断部品として、抵抗線を使用してもよい。
(1)側板130を自動機に流すための搬送台に設置する(不図示)。側板130は、側板130の外壁面170を上面にして、更に床面に対し平行な状態で、搬送台に設置される。要するに、ヒューズボックス813は、ヒューズ接続端子806aおよびヒューズ接続部810aの接続面が、上方向に露出した状態になる。
(2)ヒューズワイヤ817は、加工前のワイヤをボビンに巻いた状態で設備に設置される。ワイヤの先端を成形設備に設置し、切断および成形を行い、搬送される側板130のヒューズボックス二次成形部130bにヒューズワイヤ817を設置する。ヒューズワイヤ817は、端部817aで、ヒューズ位置決め部813aにより位置決めされ、屈曲部817bは、ヒューズ収納室811に収まった状態になる。
(3)ヒューズワイヤ817をヒューズ接続端子806aおよびヒューズ接続部810aに接続する。接続方法は、抵抗溶接や超音波金属接合、半田付けなどが対応できる。
(4)ヒューズボックス813にシリコンゲルを注入し硬化させ、キャップ813cを嵌めることで、ヒューズワイヤ817の接続が完成する。
(1)電池モジュール100は、複数の蓄電器140と、複数の蓄電セル(リチウムイオン電池セル)140を収納する筐体(ケーシング)110と、少なくとも複数の蓄電セル140を両側から挟みこんで支持する一対の樹脂製の側板130,131を有し、複数の蓄電セル140を電気的に接続するための複数の導電部材150とを備える。複数の導電部材150は、複数の蓄電セル140を接続するために筐体110の外側から側板130,131に取り付けられる。これにより、導電部材150と各蓄電セル140との接続を容易に行うことができる。なお、先述した一実施の形態においては、導電部材150と各リチウムイオン電池セル140とをアーク溶接等により溶融接合している。蓄電モジュール100は、筐体110に対して、一対の側板130,131の外側を覆うように設けられた金属製の覆い部材160を備えている。側板1301,31には、各導電部材150の周囲を取り囲むように側板130,131から突出した周壁部133が設けられており、例えば鉄製の覆い部材160と導電部材150とが接触して短絡が発生することを防止するように構成されている。なお、周壁部133は、図15~17に示すように、電圧検出導体805の先端部800aが配置される付近を除いて導電部材150の全周囲を取り囲むように配置されているので、覆い部材160に外力が加わって筐体110内側に変形した場合等、様々な外力に耐えられる。また、覆い部材160と導電部材150との接触を防止するために、側板130,131には、図15に示すように側板130,131の表面から突出した固定ガイド130aがさらに設けられている。側板130,131からの周壁部133の高さは、側板130,131からの固定ガイド130aの高さと同等以上であることが望ましい。これにより、覆い部材160と導電部材150との短絡を確実に防止することができる。
(2)電池モジュール100において、複数の蓄電器140と導電部材150とは溶融接合されており、各導電部材150には溶融接合の放熱用の壁部(立ち上がり部)158が形成されている。溶融接合の際に発生する高熱により導電部材150が溶けてしまうと、蓄電器140との溶融接合が良好に行われない可能性がある。そこで、導電部材150に壁部158を設けて溶接時の熱を効率的に逃がすことにより、良好な溶接を行って信頼性の高い側板130,131を提供することが可能となる。
(3)導電部材150は、両端部(端部領域)157において蓄電セル140の端面に溶融接合される。両端部157には、異常時に蓄電器140から噴出したガスを通す貫通孔151が設けられている。貫通孔151は、ガス放出用の開口として機能するとともに、溶接時の高熱の影響を受けにくくするように、楕円形に形成されている。
(4)導電部材150の壁部158は、導電部材150と蓄電セル140とが溶融接合された場合に、側板130,131に取り付けられた覆い部材160の高さよりも低くなるように、壁部158の高さが設定されている。これにより、放熱機能を確保しながら、金属製の覆い部材160と壁部158との不所望な接触を防止することができる。
(5)電池モジュール100は、各蓄電器140の電圧を検出するための電圧検出導体805をさらに備えている。電圧検出導体805は、複数の導電部材150の位置に対応する複数の検出線806を有するように成形されており、複数の検出線806間の距離dは、電池モジュール100の電圧によって規定される絶縁沿面距離に対して2~2.5倍に設定されている。これにより、電池モジュール100が使用される環境の汚染度が高い場合であっても、検出線806間の短絡を確実に防止することができる。
(6)検出線806の先端部800aは、複数の導電部材150に接続され、検出線806の他端部には、蓄電セル140からの電流を遮断するヒューズボックス813が設けられている。ヒューズボックス813は、制御装置900や配線800の異常時にヒューズワイヤ817を溶断して組電池120からの電流を遮断し、製品を保護する。ヒューズボックス813を検出線806の他端部に設けることにより、例えば、配線800に短絡が発生した場合に、ヒューズワイヤ817が溶断して検出線806の他端部で電流を遮断することになる。これにより、電池モジュール100全体を保護することができる。この場合、配線800およびヒューズワイヤ817を取り替えることにより、電池モジュール100を再利用することが可能となる。なお、検出線806は、所定の形状に成形されたうえで側板130,131と一体化されているため、検出線806自体では実質的に短絡が発生しない。
(7)電圧検出導体805の検出線806は、樹脂材料(樹脂部)807によって所定の形状に維持された状態で樹脂製の側板130,131にインサートモールドされることによって、側板130,131と一体化されている。具体的には、電圧検出導体805を、成形された形状を維持するように樹脂部807で固定してサブユニットを作成し、サブユニットをインサートモールドして側板130,131を製作する。サブユニットを作成することにより、電圧検出導体805の形状維持を確実に行うことができ、製造工程において電圧検出導体805の検出線806同士が誤って接触してしまうことを防止できる。
(8)側板130,131には、複数の蓄電セル140に対応する位置に貫通孔132が形成され、複数の蓄電器140は、貫通孔132を密に塞ぐように接着部材を用いて側板130,131に取り付けられている。これにより、筐体110の内部と外部との間をシールすることができる。また、電池モジュール100に加えられる外力、例えば振動等を接着部材により吸収しながら、側板130,131と蓄電器140との接続状態を維持することができる。
(9)蓄電装置(リチウムイオンバッテリ装置)1000は、電池モジュール100と、検出線806と接続されて複数の蓄電セル140の電圧を検出し、複数の蓄電器140の蓄電量を制御する制御装置900とを備える。先述したように煩雑な電圧検出リード線の配線作業を行うことなく電池モジュール100を製造することができるので、蓄電装置1000全体を効率的に製造することができる。
Claims (7)
- 複数の蓄電セルと、
前記複数の蓄電セルを収納する筐体と、
前記複数の蓄電セル同士を電気的に接続するための複数の導電部材と、
前記複数の蓄電セルを制御する制御装置と、
前記複数の蓄電セルと前記制御装置とを電気的に接続するための電圧検出線とを備え、
前記筐体は、少なくとも一対の樹脂製の側板を有していることを特徴とする蓄電装置。 - 請求項1に記載の蓄電装置において、
前記電圧検出線は、
所定の形状に形成された状態で前記側板と一体化されるとともに、前記複数の蓄電セルと電気的に接続する電圧検出導体部と、
前記電圧検出導体部と前記制御装置とを電気的に接続するための電圧検出リード線部とを備えることを特徴とする蓄電装置。 - 請求項1または請求項2に記載の蓄電装置において、
前記電圧検出線には、前記複数の蓄電セルからの電流を遮断する電流遮断装置が設けられていることを特徴とする蓄電装置。 - 請求項3に記載の蓄電装置において、
前記電流遮断装置は前記側板に配置されていることを特徴とする蓄電装置。 - 請求項3または請求項4に記載の蓄電装置において、
前記電圧検出リード線部に取り付けられた電圧検出リード線コネクタ部と、前記電圧検出導体部の前記複数の蓄電セルと接続されていない端部とを接続するための電圧検出導体コネクタ部をさらに備え、
前記電圧検出導体コネクタ部は前記側板に配置されていることを特徴とする蓄電装置。 - 請求項5に記載の蓄電装置において、
前記電流遮断装置と前記電圧検出導体コネクタ部とが一体に形成されていることを特徴とする蓄電装置。 - 請求項3から請求項6のいずれか1項に記載の蓄電装置において、
前記電流遮断装置の電流遮断部品として、抵抗線を使用していることを特徴とする蓄電装置。
