さらに、使用感の向上のため、コハク酸ジエトキシエチルなどのエステル油等の併用も提案されており、また油剤の浸透促進剤として、ベンジルアルコールなどの芳香族アルコール類も用いられている。
また、シリコーン油等を併用しても、さっぱりとした感触で仕上がりも軽くなるものの、毛髪へのハリ・コシ感の改善が十分でなく、さらには不自然な光沢感により塗布時の毛髪の外観に劣るものとなるため、この場合にも十分に満足できる毛髪化粧料を得ることができなかった。
さらに、従来のエステル油等を併用しても、使用感の改善の観点から必ずしも十分ではなく、保存安定性に劣るなどの問題があり、また浸透促進剤として芳香族アルコール類を用いると、臭気や安全性等の問題があるため、この場合にも十分に満足できる毛髪化粧料を得ることができなかった。
したがって、ダメージを受けた毛髪への高い改善効果と優れた使用感とを併せて有する毛髪化粧料を実現するための、技術および製品の開発が強く求められている。
また本発明は、二塩基酸のエステル化合物が、コハク酸ビスジエチレングリコールエチルエーテル(コハク酸ビスエトキシジグリコール)である、前記油性毛髪化粧料に関する。
さらに本発明は、二塩基酸のエステル化合物を、油性毛髪化粧料の全質量に対し、1.0~50質量%含有する、前記油性毛髪化粧料に関する。
また本発明は、油剤を、油性毛髪化粧料の全質量に対し、0.1~99質量%含有する、前記油性毛髪化粧料に関する。
また本発明は、ヘアオイル、ヘアリキッド、ヘアジェル、ヘアスプレー、ヘアスティックおよびヘアムースからなる群より選択される、前記毛髪化粧品に関する。
さらに本発明は、前記いずれかに記載の油性毛髪化粧料または毛髪化粧品を製造する方法であって、二塩基酸のエステル化合物と、1種または2種以上の油剤とを混合する工程を含む、前記方法に関する。
本発明の油性毛髪化粧料に用いる特定の二塩基酸のエステル化合物は、従来の浸透促進剤と比較して、水溶性および油溶性の両方の特性にとくに優れた浸透促進剤であり、タンパク質から構成され極性が高く水分を含む毛髪と、ダメージを受けた毛髪のケア成分として配合される油剤の両方との相溶性が高い。
また、本明細書において「毛髪化粧料」とは、とくに限定されず、上記毛髪化粧品の製造に用いられるあらゆる組成物を意味する。
さらに、本明細書において「油性毛髪化粧料」および「油性毛髪化粧品」とは、とくに限定されず、油溶性の性質を有する物質を主成分とする、あらゆる毛髪化粧料および毛髪化粧品を意味する。好ましい具体例としては、実質的に水が配合されていない非水系の油性毛髪化粧料および油性毛髪化粧品が例示される。
さらに、R4およびR5の種類は、より優れた水溶性と油溶性のバランスの観点から、好ましくは水素である。
また、R1~R5の各官能基は、本発明の油性毛髪化粧料の用途に応じて、水溶性および油溶性等を調整するために、1または2以上の置換基を有していてもよく、該置換基としては、水酸基、アルコキシ基、置換もしくは無置換のアミノ基、エステル基等が挙げられる。
なお、有機合成等の観点から、R2およびR3の炭素原子数、mおよびnの数、ならびにR4およびR5の種類は、それぞれ互いに同一であることがより好ましい。
本発明の油性毛髪化粧料は、上記一般式(1)で表されるエステル化合物を、1種のみ用いても2種以上を併用してもよい。
なお、有機合成等の観点から、上記のR2およびR3、ならびにR2(OCH2CHR5)nOHおよびR3(OCH2CHR4)mOHは、それぞれ互いに同一であることがより好ましい。
上記揮発性油の中で、毛髪への適用時および揮発後の毛髪の使用感等の観点から、より好ましい具体例としては、例えば、イソドデカン、イソヘキサデカン等が挙げられる。
テトラエステル油としては、テトラエチルヘキサン酸ペンタエリスリチル、テトライソステアリン酸ペンタエリスリチル等が挙げられる。
上記エステル油の中で、毛髪のコシ・ハリ感の改善等の観点から、より好ましい具体例としては、例えば、(イソステアリン酸ポリグリセリル-2/ダイマージリノール酸)コポリマー、イソステアリン酸水添ヒマシ油、(ジグリセリン/ジリノール酸/ヒドロキシステアリン酸)コポリマー、ヘキサ(ヒドロキシステアリン酸/ステアリン酸/ロジン酸)ジペンタエリスリチル等が挙げられる。

分岐アルコールとしては、炭素数10~40のものであり、ヘキシルデカノール、イソステアリルアルコール、オクチルドデカノール、デシルテトラデカノール、ドデシルヘキサデカノール、テトラデシルオクタデカノール、ヘキサデシルエイコサノール等が挙げられ、より好ましくはオクチルドデカノール等が挙げられる。
本発明の毛髪化粧品の形態はとくに限定されず、例えば、ヘアオイル、ヘアリキッド、ヘアジェル、ヘアスプレー、ヘアスティックおよびヘアムース等から選択される各用途において適した形態とすることができ、例えば、液状、ジェル状、ワックス状、クリーム状、多層状のオイル、ポマード、スティック、ムース状等の形態とすることができる。また、容器との組合せにより、ミストタイプ、ヘアスプレー、エアゾール等の形態とすることもできる。
(ヘアオイルの調製と評価)
表1の各組成からなる実施例1~8および比較例1のヘアオイルの調製を、下記の調製方法により行った。また、実施例1~8および比較例1のヘアオイルの各特性の評価を、下記の評価方法により行った。結果を表1に示す。
表1に示す各組成の成分を所定量で混合し、次いで室温で攪拌しながら溶解して均一な混合物として、実施例1~8および比較例1のヘアオイルを得た。
(1)官能評価
(a)評価毛束の作製
パーマ、ヘアカラー等の化学処理を行っていない成人日本人女性の毛髪を、ブリーチ処理(ダリヤ社製、商品名:パルティ)を3回、洗髪とドライヤー乾燥を4回繰り返してダメージを与えた。このダメージを与えた毛髪を用いて、長さ10cm、幅3cm、重さ6gの評価毛束を作製した。
実施例および比較例の各試料0.5gを指に取り、上記の評価毛束の各1束に、指で伸ばしながらなじませて均一に塗布した後、自然乾燥した。次ぎに、この塗布後の評価毛束をシャンプー(資生堂社製、商品名:TSUBAKI)を用いて洗髪した後、ドライヤーで乾燥させた。さらに、この洗髪後の評価毛束に、上記と同様に実施例および比較例の各試料0.5gを均一に塗布して自然乾燥した。この操作を5回繰り返した。
上記の処理時および処理後の各評価毛束について、評価パネラー10名が、以下の6項目について5段階評価を行い、各評価の平均点を求めた。

45℃の恒温室に3ヶ月間保存した後の実施例および比較例の各試料、ならびに-5℃と45℃を往復する恒温室に5回往復する期間保存した後の実施例および比較例の各試料について、分離、発汗状態、変色などの外観を目視で観察して、外観の変化の状態について5段階評価を行った。
上記実施例および比較例の各試料を用いて処理した各評価毛束の、各1束について、フィールドエミッション型走査電子顕微鏡(日本電子社製、型式:JSM-7000F型)を用いて毛髪表面のキューティクルの剥離の状態およびキューティクルのリフトアップの状態を観察および写真撮影して、キューティクルの改善効果(ダメージ毛の改善効果)について評価した。
キューティクルの剥離状態の評価は、各評価毛束の任意の毛髪の代表的な5箇所のキューティクルの剥離箇所をカウントして、その平均値を求めて5段階評価を行った。
また、キューティクルのリフトアップの評価は、各評価毛束の任意の毛髪の代表的な5箇所のキューティクルのリフトアップ角度(毛髪本体表面とリフトアップしたキューティクルとの間の仰角)を測定して、その平均値を求めて5段階評価を行った。
上記実施例および比較例の各試料を用いて処理した評価毛束の、各1束について、プラスチック素材のブラシで7回、毛束の根元から毛先に向かって擦り、静電気を意図的に発生させた。その後、静電電位測定器(春日電機社製、型式:SV-10)を用いて、毛束表面の静電気電圧を測定して、その平均値を求めて5段階評価を行った。

表2の各組成からなる実施例9~13および比較例2のヘアジェルの調製を、下記の調製方法により行った。また、実施例9~13および比較例2のヘアジェルの各特性の評価を、下記の評価方法により行った。結果を表2に示す。
表2に示す各組成の成分を所定量で混合し、次いで約80~105℃で攪拌しながら溶解して均一な混合物とした。この混合物を約30℃に冷却して、実施例9~13および比較例2のヘアジェルを得た。
(評価方法)
前記実施例1~8と同一の方法で、実施例9~13および比較例2のヘアジェルの各特性の評価を行った。
これに対し、本発明の二塩基酸のエステル化合物の代わりにコハク酸ジエトキシエチルを含む比較例2は、実施例9~13と比べて、塗りやすさ、仕上がりの軽さ・指どおり、ハリ・コシ感などの使用感、キューティクルの改善効果、帯電防止効果において劣り、とくに、キューティクルの改善効果、塗りやすさ、仕上がりの軽さ・指どおりに劣ることが分かる。
(ヘアスプレーの調製と評価)
表3の各組成からなる実施例14、15および比較例3のヘアスプレーの調製を、下記の調製方法により行った。また、実施例14、15および比較例3のヘアスプレーの各特性の評価を、下記の評価方法により行った。結果を表3に示す。

(ヘアスティックの調製と評価)
表4の各組成からなる実施例16および比較例4のヘアスティックの調製を、下記の調製方法により行った。また、実施例16および比較例4のヘアスティックの各特性の評価を、下記の評価方法により行った。結果を表4に示す。

前記実施例1~8と同様の方法で、実施例16および比較例4のヘアスティックの各特性の評価を行った。なお、評価毛束への塗布は、0.5gの量のスティックを評価毛束に擦りつけて塗布した後に、指で伸ばしながらなじませて均一に塗布した。
これに対し、本発明の二塩基酸のエステル化合物の代わりにコハク酸ジエトキシエチルを含む比較例4は、実施例16と比べて、塗りやすさ、仕上がりの軽さ・指どおりなどの使用感、キューティクルの改善効果、帯電防止効果において劣り、とくに、キューティクルの改善効果、塗りやすさ、仕上がりの軽さ・指どおりに劣ることが分かる。
Claims (9)
- (A)下記一般式(1)
- 二塩基酸のエステル化合物を構成するポリ(もしくはモノ)エチレングリコールモノエーテルまたはその誘導体成分が、ジエチレングリコールモノエチルエーテル、ジエチレングリコールモノプロピルエーテル、ジエチレングリコールモノイソプロピルエーテル、トリエチレングリコールモノエチルエーテル、トリエチレングリコールモノプロピルエーテル、トリエチレングリコールモノイソプロピルエーテル、ジプロピレングリコールモノエチルエーテル、ジプロピレングリコールモノプロピルエーテル、ジプロピレングリコールモノイソプロピルエーテル、トリプロピレングリコールモノエチルエーテル、トリプロピレングリコールモノプロピルエーテル、トリプロピレングリコールモノイソプロピルエーテル、ジブチレングリコールモノエチルエーテル、ジブチレンングリコールモノプロピルエーテル、ジブチレングリコールモノイソプロピルエーテル、ジブチレンングリコールモノブチルエーテル、ジブチレングリコールモノイソブチルエーテル、トリブチレングリコールモノエチルエーテル、トリブチレンングリコールモノプロピルエーテル、トリブチレングリコールモノイソプロピルエーテル、トリブチレンングリコールモノブチルエーテルおよびトリブチレングリコールモノイソブチルエーテルからなる群より選ばれる1種または2種である、請求項1に記載の油性毛髪化粧料。
- 二塩基酸のエステル化合物を構成する二塩基酸が、リンゴ酸またはコハク酸である、請求項1または2に記載の油性毛髪化粧料。
- 二塩基酸のエステル化合物が、コハク酸ビスジエチレングリコールエチルエーテル(コハク酸ビスエトキシジグリコール)である、請求項1~3のいずれかに記載の油性毛髪化粧料。
- 二塩基酸のエステル化合物を、油性毛髪化粧料の全質量に対し、1.0~50質量%含有する、請求項1~4のいずれかに記載の油性毛髪化粧料。
- 油剤を、油性毛髪化粧料の全質量に対し、0.1~99質量%含有する、請求項1~5のいずれかに記載の油性毛髪化粧料。
- 請求項1~6のいずれかに記載の油性毛髪化粧料を含む毛髪化粧品。
- ヘアオイル、ヘアリキッド、ヘアジェル、ヘアスプレー、ヘアスティックおよびヘアムースからなる群より選択される、請求項7に記載の毛髪化粧品。
- 請求項1~8のいずれかに記載の油性毛髪化粧料または毛髪化粧品を製造する方法であって、二塩基酸のエステル化合物と、1種または2種以上の油剤とを混合する工程を含む、前記方法。
